"Are You Dave Gorman?" by Dave Gorman & Danny Wallace I just finished "Dave Gorman's Googlewhack Adventure" and enjoyed it so I thought I would pick up his first book. It doesn't seem as good so far but maybe it'll get better. I'll probably get "Join Me" by Danny Wallace next. As for "The Death of WCW", I throughly enjoyed it despited already knowing a good chunk of the information in the book. It reminded my of things I'd forgotten. A good, quick read.

It's to give Kurt something to do on television without taking any bumps. When it first started, it was meant to end with Angle getting challenged by Daniel Puder, playing off of what happened in TE. However, with that idea scrapped, I'm guessing they are keeping it going both due to them not wanting Angle to take any bumps that he absolutely doesn't have to, and because they either don't know how to end it, or are waiting for Smackdown to be held in the hometown of whomever it is they have picked to be the one to end it. If Angle's neck is that fucked then he shouldn't be on TV in a wrestling role. It's not like his "Angle Invitationals" are even entertaining. It's no more entertianing or of any value than Steve Austin coming out on Raw and beating the crap out of mid-card heels. The only one of any worth was his match with Marty Jannetty (if it is considered one). The should have stopped the thing before Wrestlemania and be done with it.

I'd certainly say that Shelton Benjamin has the most potential since Brock Lesnar. I've really been into Shelton since he was drafted to Raw a year ago. His singles work has constantly impressed me and I feel he should have won the money in the bank match at Wrestlemania 21 and be given a bigger push in general. I really believe that Shelton Benjamin has the potential to be the future of WWE.

I agree. That really is one of the worst videos ever. I remember watching it for the first time and I thought that something, anything, had to happen to make it better but it didn't. I also vote for "Girls" by The Prodigy. A totally awful video.

What is the point in these Kurt Angle invitational matches? I mean, they've been going on for a while now and have pretty much lead to nothing. Are the writers so out of ideas that they re-use this same thing every week in order to get the number of matches up to four?

Me too. They need to do something to freshen up the rosters.

Spoil sport. Seriously though, if it's as good as Dave reckons it might be worth waiting to see if it happens...OK it probably never, ever will. But I can hope.

New Blood Rising was a bloody awful pay-per-view as Vince Russo continued to wreck WCW even more. I don't think anything on the damn show made any sense. The opening match was good but there was really no reason for it to take place. The Great Muta and The Cat had a rubbish match. Fucking Judy Bagwell was wheeled out yet again. Why did WCW keep using this woman? She brought nothing to the table and to make things worse she was a former WCW world tag team champion! David Arquette, another former WCW champion, made a pointless apperance. Shane Douglas and Billy Kidman wrestled to a silent crowd. The mud pit match was a pure farce with another Russo "shoot" ending. Lance Storm was made to look like a complete idiot despite being the most over guy on the show. Not forgeting the three way "shoot" match. By the end of the show the crowd had turned on the event and pelted poor Booker T, who had put on a good match with Jeff Jarrett, with garbage. The highlight of the show was Konnan on commentary during the four corners tag team match when he ripped into everyone.
