What happend to "Eye Scream Man"? Renamed to Goodnight. Probably because "Eye Scream Man" sounds incredibly stupid. I mean, I know it's going to be a straight to video special but the name doesn't need to scream that out... True enough I suppose. However, nobody can be expecting anything good from this film and it will probably go straight to DVD so why not just call it "Eye Scream Man". I mean, it was so bad a title I actually liked it.

To me the problem is that Chris Jericho's character is beyond stale and from what I have read in this thread then it is more the fault of the writers than Jericho himself. It's been stated that the writers have more control over Jericho's character than he does and they are the one putting the words into his mouth. Considering this situation Jericho is doing the best he can with the lame material he is given. Another point made is that Jericho should show his serious side more often. This is probably a good idea to give the character a bit of an edge but it seems to be in the hands of writers who seem content to amuse themselves with a bunch of lame insults and jokes. Even when Jericho was showing his serious side in his 2002 feud with The Rock he was still made out to be the underdog in his matches. Is that anyway to book the "undisputed champion" of the company? To say that wrestlers have to make the most of their pushes just isn't true. Jericho was given a push, with which he did the best could, but he was made out to be a joke as well. However, this isn't just down to the writers, although they are also to blame, but the seeming unwillingness of Steve Austin and Triple H to help put Jericho over strongly and being caught up in the return of the nWo. Considering all this I would not say that Jericho is holding himself back but the writers and bookers. Jericho is a good worker who does the best with what is he given and that is all he can do.

Actually... Bruno, the new role, isn't actually a new one. It's an old one he used to do on the Paramount Comedy Channel years ago. They has little segments shown just before shows. Just like the way that Trigger Happy TV got started. Just saying...
