WCW Championship Match: Ric Flair vs. Ricky Steamboat - Spring Stampede 1994 I'd never seen this match before but it was damn good one. It was a couple of levels below their classic series of matches in '89 though. However, they still managed to deliver a quality wrestling match that was only really let down by the crowd who didn't seem that much into the match and the screwy finish. It should have just ended clean.

Once again Impact proves to be a clusterfuck of bad with a sprinkling of good. Expect it's now twice as long. Some thoughts/questions: - Since when has Black Reign been associated with James Mitchell? - Five run-ins in the opening match? - How the Hell did Kurt Angle hear Sting? He didn't even have a fucking ear piece. Why can't they just sell the match between Angle and Sting as being two big names fighting for the TNA World title as opposed to adding this shitty storyline? - Way to make your X Division Champion, who has a title match at the next PPV, look like a jobber by having two WWE rejects beat the crap out of him. - More time for Robert Rhoode, why? He's not over. His gimmick is not over. This has been going on for a year and nobody gives a shit. - When did Traci become Virgil? - Why didn't Gail Kim face Roxxi Laveaux instead of Jackie? I mean, it was Roxxi who beat down Gail last week. Simple booking would dictate a match between the two. In fairness that's only a small problem but it still baffles me. - Why the fuck is Pacman Jones a champion when he can't fucking wrestle? - On the plus side, the tag match main event was very entertaining.

I saw Halloween tonight. What a fucking awful film. I seriously can't think of one good thing to say about it. It was sheer shite from start to finish. Rob Zombie needs to be stopped from making anymore fucking terrible films.

I don't see it personally. I mean, Killings doesn't need a mouth piece and Pac-Man just looks bored out there. The guy is fucking useless and TNA will be paying Christ knows how much. They've gained nothing by signing the guy. However, he's still one half of the TNA Tag Team Champions even though he can't actually get in the ring and wrestle.

It really gets me that out of that list LAX and the Guns could be real stars in a strong tag division in TNA, one thing which WWE dont have yet they are too busy forcing Rikishi, VKM and the Dudleys down peoples necks claiming to be the best in the business each week. Will they ever learn? Personally I'd love to see a three way feud between LAX, The Motor City Machine Guns and Triple X. Instead TNA gives us Team 3D vs. The Steiner Brothers and VKM squashing Shelley and Sabin.

The wrestlers all start on the floor and have to fight to get into the ring. It sounds cool on paper, but in practice makes for a terrible match because you're constantly getting instances where wrestlers can very obviously get in the ring but because they're not supposed to, they have to stand around with their thumb up their ass trying to figure out a way to not get in the ring even though nobody is around to stop them. And because it was requested, though it's strictly a one-off, here's the latest Bryan and Vinny Show that reviews this edition of Impact, as well as ECW and Smackdown. The Impact review comes up first, so if that's all you're interested in, you can turn off after that, though I recommend listening to the whole show because it's great.
