    OAO TNA Lockdown 2007 Thread

I'm with the guys further up the thread. From September 2005 to October 2006 I was hugely into TNA. Now, since Russo made his return, I've just become more and more disinterested in the product. I barely even watch Impact these days and only watch the PPV's because we get them for free the following Wednesday. That said, I am looking forward to the "Lethal Lockdown" and X-Division matches and wonder what the "electric cage" match will be like.

his Russian accent in Hunt for Red October left a lot to be desired. Don't forget his "Irish" accent in The Untouchables.

Booker taking some time off for injuries

Not a bloody another one. I like both guys and they work well together but I have no desire to see this "best of seven" storyline dragged up for the third time.

Rob Zombie to direct next Halloween movie

I however have no faith in "The Zombie". His first two films were crap and I don't see a super gory "re-imaging" (God do I hate that Hollywood bullshit word) of Halloween reversing the trend.

    OAO 3/29 Impact Thread

Wow...you're an idiot. The idea of a really hot girl being a stuck-up bitch and talking down to the fans to get heel heat is the dumbest idea you've ever heard? It did nothing for Sable right? Yeah, because she's so "stuck-up". Wanting to be treated as an equal and the like. What a heel! It would appear that you are an idiot sir.
  9. I agree. It's a fine match that is usually overlooked. Granted, it does have an awful finish with a whole bunch of ref bumps but the rest of the match is great. I suppose the screwiness is why isn't never brought up as a great match in either man's career.

    WWE 24/7

"Robin Hood" episode? Can you explain please? Basically, TNT debuted some shittty Robin Hood series after Nitro that night, and to try to force people into watching it, they actually ended Nitro on time with the promise of "live" cut-ins to the Hogan-Giant match. The match lasted about eight minutes but was shown in such a way that the match appeared to people that didn't know any better to go like 45 minutes. I'm curious as to how they handle it when they get to it. Thanks for the info. I'd never even heard of that before.

  18. Why have so many people made mention of Edge's Wrestlemania winning streak? It's not like it's been played up on TV or the event itself by the announcers. Sure, they mention he's never lost at Wrestlemania but that's it. They don't harp on about it. Yet, a number of people on the board seem to think it's important and needs to be kept intact. The question I have is why? I don't think it means anything. Undertaker's mean something because of the amount of time he's been around but even that is never going to pay off into anything as I doubt he's going to lose at Wrestlemania. The only thing that achieves is to made Undertaker's Wrestlemania matches even more predicable that they already are. I mean, he rarely faces anyone who is a legitimate threat at the show most years.

  23. I think there are plenty of people who shit on Cena because they simply don't like him. Perhaps because WWE having been shoving the guy down the public's throat for a couple of years now. That's why I do.
  24. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm very interested in this "morphing" set I've read about.

    Impact Spoilers through LockDown

That was a great TV match. If they ever do a best of Impact DVD, which I'm sure is coming, that's got to be on there. The only others that jump out at me like that one are the X-D six man from the first show of 2006, the Daniels-Joe title match from the first Thursday Impact and the Christian-Rhino cage match from the first primetime show. I always liked the Ultimate X rematch they had on the show after Bound for Glory 2005.
