Kevin Dunn and Vince think Howard is too ugly and will drive away viewers from his hip and edgy television product.

You are right, I was saying anyone who believes such a thing exists is an idiot. I figured everyone would get that there really wasn't a tape of Michelle doing 40 wrestlers. I was calling mhn an idiot, as if you go a few posts up he says something along the lines of "well, I guess there really isn't a tape." Essentially the whole thing was I made a joke about Michelle doing a bunch of guys in WWE. Some people asked how I knew that, and I made another joke about having a dirty, raunchy, disgusting video of her doing half the roster. I figured at that point most people would figure I was just bullshitting, but then people kept asking for the tape like: 1. They wanted to catch me in some great lie or 2. like I actually had the fucking tape. My mistake was thinking people would actually get I was joking from the start.

Really, you think so. You think there's no video of her doing 40 WWE wrestlers and agents, way to go out on a limb there. No wonder the bottom half of this board thinks the wrestling half are idiots.

Michelle McCool says hi? So is he gona get Michelle tattooed on his throat now If everyone Michelle was fucking got her name on their throat half the roster, and all the agents, would have some explaining to do. She is a regular sperm receptacle. I love on her myspace where she writes how the Bible is her favorite book, just because you spend half your time in the missionary position, it doesn't make you a missionary. And you know this how? Extremely explicit, dirty, raunchy, and flat out digusting video.

WWE General Discussion - September 2007

Here is a copy of the letter WWE is sending to former wrestlers, telling them WWE will pay for rehab. It comes from Wade Keller. WWE is sending letters to formerly contracted performers offering to pay for drug and/or alcohol treatment. PWTorch.com has obtained a transcript of one such letter. The letter is printed on WWE stationery and is hand-signed by Vince McMahon. The letter follows: Over the last ten years, an inordinate number of wrestlers have passed away. Some of those deaths may in part have been caused by drugs and alcohol. In an effort to prevent such tragedies in the future, the WWE is willing to pay for drug and/or alcohol rehabilitation at a certified treatment chosen by WWE for any performer with a prior WWE booking contract who may need this service. The WWE will pay for this service in full. There is no cost to you or your family. Help will be provided regardless of the circumstances of your departure from the WWF or the amount of time you performed for the WWE. If you do not have a drug and/or alcohol problem, but know you know a former WWE performer who does, we are asking you to try to help them by encouraging them to take advantage of this opportunity. Liz Difabio has been appointed as a representative in this matter. Liz has been with the company for over 24 years and has been directly involved with the majority of WWE performers who have received treatment for substance abuse. She understands emotions that individuals and family members go through in this process. Any conversation you have with Liz will remain confidential and will not be released to the public. In many instances, an individual in need of help is in denial and will not want rehabilitation. There are professional intervention companies that will help persuade that person that they need treatment. Liz will be able to facilitate such interventions, should they be necessary. An intervention and treatment will be at the cost of WWE exclusively. This service is being provided for performers with a prior WWE booking contract only. No family or friends. Please reach out to Liz if you think you might have a drug or alcohol problem or if you know someone who does. We all need to do anything we can to help prevent another tragedy. Sincerely, Vincent K. McMahon Chairman, World Wrestling Entertainment

I would argue Hamilton has the chance to be every bit as good as Dunn. He hadn't played high level ball consistantly in 4 years and played great this year. If he had 600 at bats this year he'd have 40 home runs as well. In 298 at bats he has a .368 OBP, 19 home runs, 52 runs and about 49 RBI's (I'm not sure on this off hand). That is his rookie season, and in essence his first taste of pitching over the AA level, he will no doubt improve with time.

Viva, spin away: Former Philadelphia Phillies general manager Ed Wade is the new general manager in Houston, sources said Thursday. Wade was in Houston on Thursday. Indications earlier in the day were that while club president Tal Smith apparently had recommended Wade, owner Drayton McLane hadn't made up his mind yet. By Thursday afternoon, his mind was made up. According to one baseball man who had been in touch with members of the Astros' organization, Wade was asked Wednesday to fly back to Houston for a second session because McLane needed to determine whether he could develop "a comfort level" with Wade. Smith, on the other hand, has worked with Wade as far back as the late 1970s, when Wade served as the Astros' public relations director and Smith was the general manager. The two also worked together in the mid-'80s after Smith formed Tal Smith Enterprises, a consulting company which represented numerous teams in contract negotiations and arbitration hearings. McLane has been widely rumored to have favored Wade's one-time assistant GM in Philadelphia, Ruben Amaro Jr. And indications are that Amaro is the lone other candidate still under consideration. But Wade's experience -- having served as a general manager for eight seasons with the Phillies -- apparently pushed him to the top of the list of 11 candidates interviews over the last two weeks. Wade, 51, served as GM in Philadelphia from 1998 through the 2005 season. He had spent the previous eight years as assistant GM. After being elevated to the GM job, Wade prioritized the rebuilding of the Phillies' depleted farm system. And virtually the entire nucleus of the Phillies' current team was signed and developed during his tenure. Wade was fired following the 2005 season after the Phillies failed to reach the playoffs in all eight seasons of his administration. He has spent the last two seasons working as a scout and special assistant to Padres GM Kevin Towers.

Actually, Adam Dunn goes deep into at bats due to his eye. He will see more pitches in an at bat than anyone on the Reds except Scott Hatteberg (who if you have read moneyball you know about).

His OBP is very high, he walks 100 times virtually every year, batting average is about .267, but many would argue that's an outdated stat.

I realize what you're saying in that Adam Dunn doesn't deserve some of the shit he takes, but the problem most Reds fans have is you're paying 25 million a year combined between Dunn and Griffey (who you're stuck with). They are a team with a mid-60 million payroll, with little to no pitching after Harang and Arroyo. When you have that much of your payroll tied up in two position players it makes developing pitching a premium, something the Reds haven't done since Mario Soto. It's not that people think Dunn sucks, it's that so much is tied up in Griffey and Dunn. I would love to unload Griffey, and have my outfield next year be Dunn, Hamilton and Jay Bruce, but I doubt anyone wants Griffey. Now, this offseason there is no starting pitching available, therefore you're better off just picking up the option and keeping Dunn, and after 2008 Griffey's deal is up so keeping Dunn long-term is a possibility. But, there isn't any strong dislike of Dunn in the Cincy area, there are the usual sportstalk radio show callers who are morons, but there are those in every city. But, if I could get a strong number 2 starter for Dunn for the next 7 years, I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Adam Dunn now has 4 consecutive years with 40 or more home runs. Hopefully the Cubs win though, no one wants to see a postseason with the fucking Brewers.

Indy wrestlers need to tone it down a notch

Bottom line is ROH fanboys will never admit to their promotion doing anything wrong. It wouldn't matter if Briscoe died in the ring at the next show as a result of his last concussion, they still wouldn't hold ROH even slightly responsible. Whereas if it had been WWE everyone would be claiming that they had a responsibility to investigate possible brain damage. It's just the way it is.
