I thought he was on vacation most of this month and all of August. Which is to be expected. He just came back from a two week break. I'm not sure about August....I know he's taking off for labor day. It's absurd how much time he can take off but being able to hear the show any time of the day is the selling point for me.

Can HD change the whole product?

I dunno. I had this girlfriend a while ago and she did some other guy, so I went over to the other guys house and kissed him. Then I punched him in the face.
-
Next weeks ECW commercials should be clips of Test and highlights of the Big Show vs Undertaker match.
-
This is a trainwreck.

Some more punches. Kick. Clothesline. Punches.

What a barnburner this match is. Undertaker busted out kick!

Test overacts. The sky is blue.

On Howard Stern this morning, M. Night said that the critics hate him, and that they would be reviewing him and not the movie. So this is probably just a massive conspiracy by the critics to wreck his movie career.

Why does it take Knox so long to stop her? Maybe he should read the WWE.com "ECW Preview" so he would know that Kelly was opening the show to stop it before it would happen.

Going to a private liberal arts college isn't an accomplishment. Thousands go to private liberal art colleges. I go to one that has over 2000 students alone. The reason most of them chose this school? Not because of selectivity or better education. No, their parents are rich and the would rather be around other rich whites instead of mixing in with others from different backgrounds. Sure there are a few exceptions but most have them have left since freshman year because of the large tuition essentially for nothing more than a public college would give. I had a old sports player public speak a couple of years ago, an old graduate of said college. He was talking about peer pressure and claimed you shouldn't be suckered into drinking beer and doing drugs, like you are being forced to do those actitivities because you aren't mentally strong enough to make your own choices...like he was. "Don't do drugs! Stay in school! No peer pressure!". Meanwhile his wife looked like a mac truck, he had a shitty retail job, and he played faggy golf to convince himself of his superiority. After his speaking I prayed that he would snap next time he was spending money on his wife's fat ass while she's complaining about how they don't make clothes for "people of her size".

Shannon More looks like a guy that has his mom drop him off at the arena just before the show starts then bitches to everyone in the back how he can't stand the youth of America and fuck conformity and the like. I hope this guy is not on the program very long. Sandman/Knox will be insignificant, like all of Sandman's previous segments. I don't like the idea of Undertaker in an ECW ring at all. Flair was kind of cool because he has somewhat of a history with ECW and he's been around so long everyone respects him. The thought of Taz saying "I didn't realize just how extreme the Undertaker could be!" after Taker hits Show with an aluminum trash can lid (it's going to happen) makes me sick inside. It's week 6 of this experiment and the nostalgia has worn so they should stray from the norm and actually try to deliver a good show if they want this brand to have legs.

Yeah, when that old japanese guy drove his wheelchair into Larry...real smart humor there. The next logical step would be for them to put in a laugh track.

The looks and the sound are just as outdated as their booking. The video packages are ok but all other visuals and sound has been the same since 98.

"Tom, I don't get you" "Nobody does. I'm like the wind, baby!" Tom Servo is the man. -
The main event feud is a chore to watch. Two guys in their forties doing pranks on a sixty year old is the basis of this feud. They screwed up the DX reunion from the start by waiting too long and whatever nostalgia they had left has worn off. It may have worked better if they were feuding with actual wrestlers but DX has no place in todays WWE. The sad thing is they will go by live crowd response, who are more than willing to cheer the old acts. The highlight of the show was Mick Foley, doing a watered-down version of his promo from last week tonight. The notion of feuding over WCW booking from twelve years ago is absurd, but Flair and Foley have made this feud the best in the company. Flair's not even a real character though and more like an entertaining side-show act. The Highlanders vs two jobbers. The highlanders remind me of the usual tag team that has an 80s gimmick that won't get over in 2006. Of course in this company that means they are "prospects" and we'll be seeing backstage skits with them for the next few months while 'net fans rave about their hilarity. Cena vs Umaga. Umaga is Yoko without the weight, charisma and appeal. He's another "prospect" and he's booked strongly here against Cena. Umaga isn't over and once his undefeated streak ends he'll lose the only decent appeal of his character. The WWE title looks strong tonight getting a full two-minute segment. The writers must have been two busy making the hilarious "I love cock" and "Me too" signs to actually think up an interesting show tonight.

Jim Ross seems so disinterested in tonights show. "Nitro pushes Flair into Melina. She may have hurt herself" *yawn* edit: 6000 posts....depressing.

It's amazing to me how much people try to impress others by their behavior. This works both ways. I pity both those who feel the need to tell the world they are "straight edge" (trying to force a fake sense of superiority through willpower, which works in a small minority of cases, if at all) and those who feel the need to show their sophistication by discussing art while drinking expensive wines while looking down on those not "sophisticated" enough to appreciate it. Do what you like.

HBK's are dreamy though.

What program would you like to see ME Raw?

Cena feuding with an Umaga/Kahli team would be great if this was the 80s. -
I have no problem with religion as a whole. I don't like people who think that because they are religious they are more entitled to wealth and happiness than anyone else.
-
I disagree with this. You ultimately get what you focus on. If youare focusing on how you have/are going to fail with women, guess what you're going to get more of.

Heel Cena w/Vince vs Triple H. Maybe even heel Edge/Cena team against DX if they could find a decent reason to stick Edge/Cena together...which they couldn't. -

Wow. I cannot make it through "The Beast from Yucca Flats", even with the bots and Mike. The music just won't STOP and it's giving me a headache. This film is probably the worst I've ever seen, even worse than Manos.
