Two hours of that? Holy fuck. I'm actually laughing at people thinking the biggest problem with this show was taped before Smackdown. The entire thing was a disaster with no redeeming qualities.

-Zombies. Vampires. Teased Nudity. John Cena. I don't know what to say. There was nothing I enjoyed about this show at ALL. -All the pointless WWE cross promotion....No ECW chants....no RVD chants. At times it feels like this whole bringing back ECW thing is just another attempt to get Cena over. Seriously, ECW's first segment after a five year abscence was Cena beating up Edge...then RVD...then Heyman. -The Vampire and Zombie! I love the new breed of ECW. -ECW advertises WWE's album. They're hardcore. -Tazz and Styles have to be throwing up in their mouths just a little every time they shilled this show. This was just every other WWE show but somehow WORSE and one of the worst WWE produced shows I have seen in a while. I shouldn't be surprised, I know. Maybe it will get better in a few months but with Vince's track record the past few years I wouldn't count on it.

I thought Vince owned ECW in reality and in kayfabe. Surely he could stop Heyman from making the WWE Title the ECW title since he's his boss.

The new ECW will be like One Night Stand but worse because it will be in front of a WWE Smackdown crowd that will cheer Cena and think 90% of the ECW roster is jobbers. I'll watch it tomorrow (and fully expect Cena to kill more ECW guys not named Angle) but nothing is making me excited for this show.

I taped the show. Awful two hours. McMahon didn't even acknowledge the WWE Title situation. DX returning should have been done weeks ago when people actually cared, even though it's something we've already seen and it isn't a fresh new take on it. Cena KILLED everyone again and Cena vs ECW at ECW (but in front of a WWE crowd) will be the worst. Foley and Flair aren't a couple of guys I think would have chemistry not to mention their age and condition.

Why is reading the WON usually more entertaining than the shows?

Mickie James is better than almost everything on Raw. I agree with that, but she needs someone to work with now that Hoss McNon-reaction is out with an injury.

Heyman liked how this show came off?....ugh. I'll still give it a chance but if Heyman liked last night show that's not a good sign. The finish to the main event was more like WCW than any TNA show I've seen recently. It was Sting/Hogan with Heyman playing Hart's role. This finish hurt everyone involved in my eyes. The workers gave it everything they had last night but the bookers didn't give them much to work with. Cena on ECW's first show? All signs show that WWE thinks they need the WWE guys in ECW to attract an audience which won't work for establishing it as an alternative brand

Why did Edge attack Cena anyways? He was already #1 contender so what was the point? Also why did he wear that helmet? To protect himself on the spear spot (which was probably a good thing since his head ended up in between Cena's back and the table)? I actually thought it was a SciFi gimmick for a second.

Cena complains, Edge laughs at him, Vince says no ref counted so WWE Title is vacant, will be contested between Cena and Edge at Vengeance, Umaga squashes someone, meaningless diva stuff, Hunter kills Spirit squad, shannanigans, Hunter gets a face full of Vince ass. Yes, I'll still be watching.

The crowd basically made this show. If they do a show like this in front of a Smackdown crowd...Ugh. The generic music, the Sabu/Rey non-finish and the main event made me feel like I was watching an early TNA show with Cena in Jarrett's role. is. From Keller's PPV Report on PWTorch.com:

I actually enjoyed the PPV for the most part. Angle and Big Show came off really well and Mysterio's old tights were badass. The DDT spot was fucking SICK. Dreamer/Funk vs Edge/Foley was way better than I expected The main event may have been the worst booking I've seen since Sting/Hogan Starcade 97. The put over that it was RVD's enviornment for weeks and he got killed. Really the lamest possible finish they could have come up with for this match. The PPV is to Vengeance as ECW vs WWE was to One Night Stand. RVD looks like he snuck out with the title despite it being his setting.

RVD DIDN'T make a babyface comeback. Edge layed Cena out long enough for RVD to hit his finisher. It looked like RVD was unprepared and the the match was a walk in the park for Cena, while it was in RVD'S STYLE OF MATCH.

He got beat up the entire match and then only won after outside interference. That's about as jobberish as it can get without actually losing. Saying RVD got beat up the whole match is stretching it a little bit. Not really. RVD got what.... 4 or 5 moves? (Not counting the Five Star, as Cena would have easily moved from that jobber finisher if he wasn't attacked by a WWE guy beforehand)

This completely killed my interest in ECW. No Enter Sandman? No big surprises? Bleeping out curses? None of the "little things" that they got right last year were there. RVD looked like a total jobber out there and it was sad to see his "Big win" be met with such apathy from the crowd who knows it is meaningless.

If this is the equivalent of that, then here comes the slow, 12-week death of ECW. The heel killed the face cleanly and the face pulls off a miracle win only because of a run in. RVD needed the big win here, or at least to look like his invincible '98 self.

The Mexican Hardcore match is a must-see simply for the commentary.

-Big Show's promo on wwe.com was better than Foley's promo on WWE vs ECW. -Raven was a better promo guy than Foley most of the time. -All the current divas are fuckable despite fake breasts/no tits/roast beef pussy.

Spirit Squad handicap match #5469656. Their gimmick is already played out.

I think Hunter would be able to work the crowd better during a match with RVD as well.

I really enjoyed that Big Show promo on WWE.com or ECW.com or whatever it's on. Show actually has pretty decent delivery when he's not screaming and yelling.
