The Jericho-HBK match is the sole reason I would be willing to pony up for a ticket on Sunday. If that doesn't qualify as the main attraction on a card, then I don't know what does.

I'm just excited that after going to three previous PPVs and more Raws/SmackDowns than I can count, I've finally got a real chance of seeing a world title change hands. Biggest (and only) title change I've ever witnessed to this point was Chyna beating Jeff Jarrett in a Housekeeping Match in 1999.

When was the last time there was a PPV poster shown on here that WASN'T thought by someone to be a fake? And when was the last time a fake poster actually did show up on here?

My one memory of GWF from back in the day was that their studio show freely talked about what was happening in other promotions. I remember watching the show on the day of Survivor Series 91, and the announcer said Randy Savage had been reinstated and was expected to be involved with the PPV that night to confront Jake Roberts (we all know how THAT ended up turning out). I didn't read dirt sheets and this was before the Internet, so while it seemed pretty obvious that Savage was gonna wrestle again, to learn about it on another promotion's show the day of the PPV was stunning.

I was at both of those PPVs and was thinking of posting the exact same matches. The reaction for RVD at Invasion was the first and only time during the entire Alliance storyline where I felt like WCW/ECW had brought in a legitimate star. Hard to explain, but if you were there you know exactly what I'm talking about. Hardys/E&C was a great match. I got to watch that from a friend of a friend's lower-level suite before getting tossed when security looked in our direction because some chick in the section in front of us took her shirt off and we had 30 people in the suite. Back to the nosebleeds for the main event. Doh. The only title change I've witnessed was Chyna beating Jeff Jarrett in a "housekeeping match" or something equally as dumb. I'm hoping for something a little bigger when I go to Unforgiven.

Hopefully he will just be added to the match rather than Kendrick being taken out..then with Jericho on Raw both matches will have 6 participants. That would be better, and hopefully they make these matches 30 minutes, because with only 40 minutes of main eventers on a show, the rest will be the definition of filler. Looking at the challengers in the SD match, that's a really loose definition of "main eventers." You still have Undertaker and Edge (assuming he's done burning in hell) available. On the Raw side, Jericho isn't doing anything yet either.

You don't need copious blood for a violent match. If a spear through a cage, an unprotected chairshot across the face, a spear that involved running from one table to another and a collision through a third, a chokeslam off the top rope through two tables outside and two TV-monitor-to-the-head shots weren't enough for you, I don't know what to say.

I liked how they showed JUST enough of the stacked tables outside with the camera view from the apron as Edge was sitting on the turnbuckle, about to be chokeslammed through them. Nice bit of foreshadowing without completely giving away the spot.

'Job' Cena strikes again. I don't understand what they're doing with him. He's getting owned on PPV on a monthly basis. And these losses aren't even screwy. Clean jobs for three straight months. Good match, tho. I'd like to see them go again.

Weak finish, but the match as a whole wasn't offensive.

I didn't mean for my comment to come across as complaining about putting the three title matches on so early. With the way they've built up the different programs, it makes sense for the other matches to go on last. I was just pointing it out as trivia more than anything else. I can't remember that ever happening on a show other than a Royal Rumble before.

Wow, three world titles and they ALL go on in the first half of the No. 2 show of the year.

So what excuse will JBL drag out tomorrow night to stretch this feud out for another PPV? I mean, that was his second loss to Punk, this one clean as a whistle in the middle of the ring. That SHOULD be the end of this, right? Please?

Michaels' wife is SO not letting him get any tonight after that.

I wrote a story about this for my newspaper and talked with the Northeast Ohio media relations rep for TWC. He said there were no plans to continue USA HD past the Olympics. It's pretty asinine. You're basically saying, "Yes, we have the capability of showing more HD channels, including the No. 1 cable channel in the country, but we're just not going to anyway." I hate this company.

OK, what in the hell am I missing in order to rack up some of these scores you guys are putting up? Kill guys, collect multipliers, don't get killed. Is there something I'm missing here? On my absolute best game of Deadline, I'm playing my ass off and barely getting over 2 mil, and I'm seeing scores more than 3 times that high. What's the secret?

Looks like we've skipped ahead, big time. I turn on tonight's show and it looks like the first ep. of 1990, with Bischoff in the Larry Nelson role, with Lee Marshall on PBP, a guy I don't recognize on color and (I think) Donna Gagne doing ring announcing. Give me back Larry Nelson, Ron Trongard and Mitch Karch from the Showboat, damn it. Then again, they'll probably never top last night's show.

Still seems kinda odd, given how this show is more about autism awareness than advancing WWE storylines.

-5 for not using the WWE chairs being stolen as the foreign object of choice when hitting security during the get-away attempt.

Have they put the Smackdown plate back on the WWE title belt or does it still have the "MON NITE RAW" plate?

Cena is going to get Bradshaw through that window if its the last thing he does.

Why is there no commentary for this?
