March 1996: The Road to Wrestlemania is winding and now we are in the month of March, ready for more WWF action. WWF Superstars 3-2-96: Bob Backlund def Tony Devito after the Chickenwing Hold in 3:12 -Let the parade of squashes for the month of march officially begin. Backlund's career is winding down but he still has a few more months of squashing jobbers on superstars and action zone left in him. Stone Cold Steve Austin will meet Savio Vega at Wrestlemania XII. We saw their match from the Action Zone this past week. This week on the Action Zone: The Body Donnas vs. The Smoking Gunns: The Rematch for the tag team titles and the Shawn Michaels-Bret Hart contract signing. 1-2-3 Kid (w/Ted DiBiase) def Mike Hallow with a spin kick in 4:32 -The Kid wins a squash. The Kid needs to get back on track after losing to straight Intercontinental Title matches to Razor Ramon. Duke Droese def Mike Bell after the Trash Compactor (tilt-a-whirl side slam) in 2:03 -Duke is in limbo despite a victory over three-time former WWF champion Bob Backlund. Duke wins a squash here on superstars. Goldust def Fatu with a reverse DDT (not the full curtain call) in 8:08 -Well it maybe mid-carder vs. JTTS but it is better than the mid-carder vs. jobbers matches that you seen earlier. The Samoans make another appearance and Fatu screws up again. Goldust tries to lift Fatu for the Curtain Call but his back gives out. Goldust just hits a reverse DDT for the pin. Fatu says maybe the Samoans are right. Maybe he will continue losing until he changes his ways. But the reason he has lost over the past month is because of constant distractions. He warns the Samoans that if they cost him one more match they will pay. WWF Action Zone 3-3-96: Vader(w/Jim Cornette) def Duane Gill and Nick Barbarry after a power bomb to each in 1:49 -Vader wins a token squash and even then the two jabronis don't equal Yoko's weight. Vader is a force to be reckoned with in the WWF and this match just proved it as he rushed through two men with ease. The Body Donnas (w/Sunny) def The Smoking Gunns when the referee stopped the match in 15:32 -The Body Donnas retained the WWF tag team titles. The Body Donnas hit a spike piledriver on Billy Gunn but then Billy just stopped moving. The referee called the match off and the Body Donnas retain the titles. Now they have two controversial wins over the Gunns. Billy Gunn is taken out on a stretcher and The Body Donnas gloat over injuring one half of the former champions and having the tag belts around their waists. The Samoan Gangsta Party def The Bushwhackers in 8:00 when Samoan Gangsta #1 hits Butch with a kendo stick and Samoan Gangsta 2 scores the pin. -This match was just brawling and dirty tactics by the Samoans. The Samoans continued to beat the Bushwhackers into a pile of dust. Fatu rushed to the ring and fought off the Gangstas. He was doing a pretty good job until SAMU RUSHES TO THE RING. Samu attacks Fatu from behind with a stick and a triple team beatdown ensues. The Samoans and Samu beg Fatu to return to his roots so he can't shame his family anymore by being a loser. The Contract Signing: WWF Chairman Vince McMahon comes out first. Then WWF Interim President Gorilla Monsoon makes his way out. Then, the challenger Shawn Michaels. Then, the champion Bret "The Hitman" Hart. Vince says that the leaders in charge of the WWF agree that this is the Dream World Title match and should be taken into consideration that the title will leave with the right man. Gorilla Monsoon then announces the one special guest referee who will be able to troubleshoot this huge title match: "Rowdy" Roddy Piper. Roddy Piper then says he will call the match right and we will have a rightful winner. The Match is also under Iron Man rules. The wrestler who gets the most decisions in an hour will be the victor and the WWF Champion. In case of a tie their will be an overtime granted. Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart shake hands and then sign the contract. Gorilla, Vince, and Piper sign the Contract and make the match official. Lawler said he beat Bret before and he will beat him again. Isaac ended this match with the DDS. Mankind vignette airs. The Undertaker is interviewed. He said he defeated Vader and proved that he is the best big man in the WWF. He says that he has nothing to do for Wrestlemania. So he makes a challenge to any star on the WWF roster. One on One at Wrestlemania, someone will Rest in Peace. Stone Cold Steve Austin (w/Ted DiBiase) def Bart Gunn with the Stone Cold Stunner in 4:14 -Austin is trying to rebuild that streak that was snapped by Shawn Michaels two weeks ago. Austin has only been pinned once and that was against the MVP of 1996 so far so that is understandable. Austin stunned Bart Gunn and picked up the win. Zeb and Justin Bradshaw are interviewed. Justin Bradshaw is hot and he is so hot that he accepts the Undertaker's challenge to a match at Wrestlemania, in an attempt to prove that tonight’s loss to Savio Vega was a fluke. Zeb tries to get Justin to reconsider but Bradshaw is firm. The Undertaker vs. Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw at Wrestlemania XII. Can the Undertaker keep his title of the best big man in the WWF or will Bradshaw shatter that. Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith watch The Body Donnas win the tag team titles and injure Billy Gunn. Davey Boy and Owen Hart want a shot at the Tag Team gold but the New Rockers jump in also wanting a shot at the gold. Vader, Davey Boy Smith, and Owen Hart def Mike Hallow, Bob Holly, and Barry Horowitz when Vader pinned Horowitz with the Power Bomb in 5:32 -Jim Cornette was absent tonight and Camp Cornette made mincemeat out of these poor jobbers tonight on Superstars. Vader finished Barry Horowitz off with a thunderous power bomb. Stone Cold Steve Austin (w/Ted DiBiase) def The Brooklyn Brawler with the Million Dollar Dream in 0:08 -Austin attacked Brawler before the bell, slapped on the dream, and then quickly got the win. Austin refuses to release the Dream and Savio Vega runs out and attacks Austin. But the 1-2-3 Kid runs out and we got an impromptu match 1-2-3 Kid (w/Ted DiBiase) pinned Savio Vega after outside interference from Stone Cold Steve Austin in 8:43 -Savio and 1-2-3 Kid had a martial arts fest but Savio lifts Kid for a slam but Austin tripped him and held his feet down causing the Kid to score the win. HBK blasted The Kid with the Sweet Chin Music as he got up and HBK scored yet another pin leading up to Wrestlemania. Bret Hart def Jerry Lawler (w/Isaac Yankem) to retain the WWF Championship after the Sharpshooter in 10:53 -Midway through Yankem snuck in and blasted the Hitman with the DDS. Lawler got a two count. Lawler hit not one, not two, but three piledrivers to the Hitman. Bret kicked out again showing his toughness. Lawler got cocky and went for a flying fistdrop but Bret moved. Five Moves of doom. Dropkick to Yankem. Sharpshooter. Submission. Bret Hart retains the title. Bret Hart celebrates with the WWF Championship. WWF Superstars 3-16-96: Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith def The Bushwhackers after outside interference from the Samoan Gangsta Party in 6:32 -The Bushwhackers had a good advantage until the Samoans distracted them and caused Owen to pin Bushwhacker Luke with a backslide. Yoko then hits the savate kick, belly-to-belly suplex, and a legdrop. Vader runs out and Yokozuna slugs him but Cornette whacks that Tennis Racket over the ample BUTT of Yokozuna. The referee calls for the DQ. Yoko grabs Cornette's tennis racket and breaks it over his knee. Yoko now slugs Cornette. Yoko is about ready to drop the bomb on Cornette but Vader slugs him and now we have these two monsters going at it. They paid for this and Fatu kicked #1 in the face and scored the pin. The Gangstas however attack Fatu with the help of Samu. The Bushwhackers try to intervene but they get stomped as well. 1-2-3 Kid(w/Ted DiBiase) pinned Bob Holly with the spin kick in 12:42 -FANTASTIC MATCH. Lawler interfered but HBK disposed of him and put Isaac away with some Sweet Chin Music. Lawler enters the ring and starts attacking Michaels. Bret Hart runs to the ring and pulls Lawler off. Michaels goes to superkick Lawler but Lawler ducks down and Bret gets hit. Michaels looks on in shock as Lawler and Yankem make clean getaways. Bret Hart finally wakes up from the superkick and he is yelling that he is going to pummel Michaels at Wrestlemania. Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith enter the ring and attack the Hitman, taking advantage of his condition. Bret is still woozy from that superkick. These vultures are picking apart Bret Hart. Owen is still mad that he lost to Bret last month at In Your House and Davey Boy lost to Bret at the previous In Your House. So if that is their reason for this unprovoked attack they are sore losers. Bret is left lying, which can’t be good for Wrestlemania on Sunday. The Undertaker(w/Paul Bearer) def Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw(with Zeb) after the Tombstone in 13:21 -The Undertaker and Bradshaw had a nice brawl and Bradshaw hit a lariat and scored a two count. Bradshaw hit four more lariats and The Undertaker sits up. Bradshaw tossed powder in the eyes of the Undertaker and hit him with a chair but no effect. The Undertaker hit a clothesline, clothesline, jumping clothesline, legdrop, and Tombstone combo and he scored the pin. The Undertaker soaks in his victory but a mysterious figure comes from the back. MANKIND. Mankind hits the Undertaker from behind with a lead pipe and now rolls the Undertaker over. MANKIND JAMS HIS FINGERS DOWN THE THROAT OF THE UNDERTAKER. The commentators tell us that is the Mandible Claw and The Undertaker looks even paler then usual. Mankind really did a number on him. The referees have to pull Mankind off but here come the orderlies. They put Mankind in a straightjacket and lead him back to the Boiler Room. They say this is for his own good and the safety of others. They throw Mankind, trapped in a straightjacket, into the boiler room. When is the next time the horror of all Mankind will be released? For those in the World Wrestling Federation, it can only be way too soon. This was several quick tags and both of the challenging teams got several nearfalls. Jim Cornette tries to pass off the tennis racket to his charges but Sunny grabs it from him. Rainy enters the ring at one point and dropkicks Skip right on the ankle bone. Marty hits a Rocker Dropper for a nearfall. Several more exchanges and Rainy tries to look up Sunny's skirt. Zip scored the pin when he hit a knee to the face from the second rope to Leif. The Body Donnas retain the WWF tag team titles. The Ultimate Warrior cuts a promo. He says he is back and back to stay. He then says that Justice will prevail and blah, blah, blah. The Warrior will extend help to wherever it is needed and so on, and so forth. Austin then locks on the Dream and the referee wakes up. The arm is dropped three times and Austin retains the Million Dollar Championship. Roddy Piper promises to be a fair referee in tonight’s Ironman match. Ladder Match for the WWF Intercontinental title Razor Ramon© def Goldust after grabbing the gold in 18:21 -This is Razor's type of match and Goldust was at a disadvantage. Goldust blew some gold dust into Razor's eyes and made a dash at the belt but Razor suplexed him off the ladder. Razor missed a charge and got crotched somehow. Goldust connected with a DDT on Razor onto the ladder with a sickening thud that might have been Razor's head cracking. Goldust, instead of going for the title, plays mind games. He gives Razor mouth to mouth and Razor's eyes angrily pop open. Goldust is punched and kicked. Goldust is set up and hit with the Razor's Edge straight to the concrete. Razor climbs the ladder and grabs the Intercontinental title to win the match. Razor celebrates with the Intercontinental title but Hunter Hearst Helmsley attacks Razor from behind and drills Ramon with the Pedigree, to a loud round of boos from the crowd, as the Connecticut Blueblood has taken advantage of a winded Razor Ramon. Hunter bows at the fallen form of Razor before departing. Vader (w/Jim Cornette) def Yokozuna with the Vader Bomb in 7:32 -Yokozuna went for the Banzai Drop but Cornette pulled Vader out of the way. Yoko crashed on the mat, his leg went numb, and just laid on the canvas hardly moving. Vader then climbs to the second rope and hits the Vader bomb on Yokozuna. Bret Hart is getting ready for the WWF title match in the back. Shawn Michaels is shown doing that as well. Ironman Match with special referee Roddy Piper for the WWF Championship: Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart© *Fall One:15:53 Bret Hart goes for the Sharpshooter but Michaels counters with a small package. Roddy Piper presents the belt to HBK who soaks in the cheers. Roddy Piper then goes to the back his work is done. Bret Hart rolls to the outside sulking holding an injured jaw. Bret Hart begins the slow, long walk to the back. HBK gets a spectacular fireworks show. Bret has walked to the back but Diesel comes out. What does this jerk want? His suspension is up tonight. After a moment’s staredown, Diesel extends a hand for Shawn Michaels and Michaels takes it. Diesel looks away and CLOTHESLINES MICHAELS. Michaels crumples to the canvas of that vicious move. Diesel picks up Michaels and jackknifes him to the mat. Diesel then grabs the WWF world title belt and picks Michaels up. Diesel hits HBK in the face with it. The new champion has been punked by Big Daddy Cool, the man who he thought was his friend. We cut to the parking lot where Bret Hart is putting his luggage in the trunk of his car. He turns around and mouths:" It’s over". -

Greetings. Back in 2002, I began a project that I would rebook certain things in the WWF in the past to my liking, while leaving others in tact with a few modifications where neccessary and also only sticking to the people who were on the roster at the times presented. I had planned to work at least to the InVasion but sadly the project didn't get past January 1997. A few days ago, by chance, I came across the old fantasy booking from then and I was visited by a strong urge to revist that project. The original postings are available somewhere on this board, but I cringe when I read them, as the spelling in many cases is rather horrid. As a result, I have began to clean up the work and will be reposting my said work month by month. At the point I reach February 1997, I will begin fresh fantasy booking! Dusty Rhodes is out and he declares that since they drew, he would have to take it over to the judge(Larry Zbyzko this week) so AJ could still win by decision. Larry informs us that it was " too close to call" but as a result of D' Amoure's interference, he is awarding the match to Styles. Styles gets the X-Division Title Shot on the 5th of December. (Match Reaction: 51.8%, Match Quality: 56.6%, Overall: 50.3%) The Nash has landed as Kevin Nash arrives at Victory Road, limping into TNA with a bang. (78.7%) X-Divison Gauntlet: Okay this should be hard to follow. Chad Collyer and Jerelle Clark draw #1 and #2. They trade a couple of high spots before Shark Boy comes in and works the crowd. Ruffy Silverstein of Team Canada comes out. Collyer eliminates Sharky just seconds before your god and mine, L.A. Park makes his way to the ring. Dutt enters and a lot of typical battle royal fair is going on here. Jason Cross is out to the action. Silverstein dumps Clark. Garza comes out to enter the chaos. Michael Shane makes his way out and we are having a lot of eliminations. Psychosis put Mikey Batts over the ropes. Jerry Lynn makes his return to TNA to enter the gauntlet. Red takes Psychosis over the ropes with the Code Red for the elimination. Kazarian is in the house. Sonny Siaki is in the mix. Red goes out via Alex Shelley just as Spanky comes in. Lynn tosses Shane to the floor as Chris Sabin enters at #20. Lynn gets eliminated by Alex Shelley. Siaki gets hit with the Wave of the Future and goes out of the mix. Final Four: Our final four are Alex Shelly, Chris Sabin, Spanky, and Kazarian. Sabin is first to go and Spanky gets double teamed by Shelly and Kazarian. Heel miscommunication and Kazarian gets put out. The referee enters the ring. ------Finals of the X-Division Gauntlet----- Alex Shelley is up against Spanky. Quick roll up sequence and Shell Shock is blocked. Sliced Bread #2 is blocked and Shelely rolls up Spanky using the ropes and Shelley wins the gauntlet. Then they crossed the ring and attacked their supposed allies. Jack Knife to Jeff Hardy and Outsiders Edge to Jarrett. The Outsiders stand in the ring and Hall climbs the ladder and drops the TNA belt in between the two fallen bodies. This TNA diary is made possible by Total Extreme Warfare and is done with the RaveX TEW Update 4. Impact Taping for 11/5/04: Dark Matches: Johnny B. (Match Reaction: 40.2%, Match Quality: 59.0%, Overall: 45.0%) Jason Cross pinned The Amazing Red in a mild upset after the Crossfire. This match should have been on Impact but it wasn't for some reason. They had a good 11 minute match and the crowd popped for a few high spots (Match Reaction: 47.0%, 73.8%, 61.3%) After the match, Xplosion banners were put up: Xplosion Taping: Chad Collyer made Shark Boy submit to the Texas Cloverleaf. Collyer had generic wrestling tights on and was not dressed as a member of the Elite Guard of Jeff Jarrett. Another good X Division style match. (MR: 46.4%, MQ: 77.6%, OR: 59.9%) Abyss squashed D-Ray 3000 with the Black Hole Slam. Less said about this the better. (77.7%) LA PARKA~! Yes La Parka wrestles on Impact today. L.A. Park, as he is now called, comes out. He is about to eat his squash through as Monty Brown is out. Pretty good match, better than your normal Monty Brown Impact squash but LA Park grabs the chair and instead of using it, gets up and dances on it. Monty pounces LA Park off the chair and covers him to score the pin. (and I forgot to write down the scores in TEW) Roddy Piper gives a promo for In the Pit with Piper at Victory Road (46.6%) The 3 Live Kru beat Dallas and Kid Kash when BG James pinned Kash with the Pumphandle Slam. Disclaimer: This Diary is not meant to be taken seriously in any way shape or form. Any mental duress caused by readers is there own damn fault. This is a sequel to all 5,420,327 parts of Pro Wrestling Hogan only without Hogan and friends. No Nathan Jones either. This is the rebirth of some of the worst gimmicks in Wrestling past. Maybe even some of my own crappy creations will pop up. This is ran by Extreme Warfare Revenge. Enjoy the show. Suckdown Recap for 10/1/04: The York Foundation(Mr. Hughes and Richard Morton)(w/Alexandra York) vs the Ding Dongs(#1 and #2) The computer predicts that the York Foundation will win 4:24. It also predicts that 3 people will ask WHERES NATHAN JONES and this diary will only run into the first PPV before I forget about it(hopefully not but this is the York Foundation Computer talking). The Ding Dongs get squashed. Morton isn't even trying, he is just in it for the paycheck. Mr. Hughes makes a big grease spot out of Ding Dong #2 before scoring the pin at....4:24. I kid you not. The Dames gives this a DUD and it is the first of many to come I am sure. Damien Demento is staring at the ceiling backstage. He is just staring up at the ceiling and then he stares at his hands. Demento has a match up next. Aldo Montoya vs Damien Demento Demento suckers Montoya into start. Demento pounds away at Montoya before Montoya is all like: "My Name is Aldo Montoya, you killed my career by putting me back in this stupid gimmick, prepare to die". Montoya hits a monkey flip but Demento crotches Montoya and delivers the kneedrop of death for another pin and another DUD in 2:11. Chip Minton vs Hole In One Darsow The evil sports starts collide. The Evil Bobsledder vs the Evil Golfer. Darsow takes us back to the 80s, the 1880s by headlocking his way through the match. Minton isn't too good either and he botches a dropkick. Darsow finally spares us of the misery of this match and Minton reproducing by hitting him in the junk with the golf club and rolling him up to score the pin in 3:53. DUD-A-Rama. The Big Johnsons....Richard and Rod are in the ring with their brand new manager Ahmed Johnson. Ahmed says something which I think was ahbahu4[3hba646yhaj;5h akj4hly;ks. Yes that is what Ahmed said. Ahmed Johnson=the next great orator. The kinder, gentler Kamala comes out with Reverend Slick. Slick says that Kamala said that he can handle both the Big Johnsons on them own and rub them out of contention but Slick wants to give Kamala a partner. "Blind men make paper airplanes so prostitutes don't get horny" Perry Saturn comes out with Moppy as the crowd cheers. Perry Saturn does the airplane around the entrance ramp as we have a tag team main event. The Big Johnsons(w/Ahmed Johnson) vs Perry Saturn and Kamala(w/Moppy and Reverand Slick) Big Johnsons ram into Kamala to start. Kamala pounds them and tags in Saturn but the Big Johnsons get another spurt of offense to stun Saturn. Saturn fights back and he is handling the Big Johnsons quite well in the middle of the ring. Saturn is now beating on the Big Johnsons. Ahmed Johnson is on the ring apron but Saturn throws Moppy at Ahmed and Ahmed looks confused and Saturn delivered the three handled moss covered Family Gredunza on Dick Johnson. Dick was just rammed into the mat by that move and Saturn scores the pin. The Johnsons have been casterated by the offense of Perry Saturn and Kamala. Match of the night at a whopping, 1/4* Time was 4:01. We are out of time. See you on Crap is War. Overall Rating: 48 1.44 Television Rating for Suckdown.

WCW Saturday Night 1/3/98: The show starts with a pre taped statement from JJ Dillion said that the NWO indeed has control of Nitro and last Monday the monopolized it, giving very few WCW stars a chance to compete. Dillion said that he was in meetings with TBS executives all week and he has netted WCW a two hour show on Thursday Nights called Thunder. The NWO may have been won the battle for Starrcade but WCW now has an outpost for war. Bill Goldberg pinned Barry Darsow with the Spear and Jackhammer in less then 30 seconds. Darsow promised to "kick Goldberg's stinking teeth in". Goldberg squashed Darsow and got his streak up to 22-0. Super Calo, Hector Garza, and Juventud Guerrera defeated Psychosis, Silver King, and Damian in a Lucha Libre Match after Garza pinned Silver King with a backflip splash. Eddie Guerrero gloated backstage about beating his two top rivals in that Triple Threat Match at Starrcade. Eddie hypes up his match tonight against Ultimo Dragon tonight on the Mothership, WCW Saturday Night. Bobby Eaton and Bobby Walker(w/Teddy Long) defeated Disorderly Conduct after Eaton pinned Mean Mike with the Alabama Jam to showcase the new team of Walker and Eaton. Bret Hart has a pre taped statement where he challenges any member of the NWO to a match, any place. Meng defeated Glacier with the Tongan Death Grip after Glacier tried a sunset flip but Meng grabbed him. Disco Inferno comes out and says that he was robbed out of his Television Title at Starrcade. Disco challenges Martel to a rematch and out comes the WCW Television Champion. WCW Television Champion Rick Martel defeated Disco Inferno by submission with the Quebec Crab. Disco had his moments but Martel outwrestled him once again. Dean Malenko defeated Villano IV when he pinned Villano V after a suplex despite constant switching from the Villanos. The Villanos double teamed Malenko but Rey Misterio Jr came out to make the save. Malenko and Rey went nose to nose after sending the Villanos off, not trusting each other. WCW Cruiserweight Champion Eddie Guerrero pinned Ultimo Dragon after Dragon missed an Asai Moonsault on the floor and Eddie threw him back into the ring and delivered the Frog Splash. Eddie retained the Cruiserweight title. Lex Luger and the Giant defeated Vicious and Delicious when Lex Luger racked Buff Bagwell. The Giant and Luger celebrate as Saturday Night gets cut off by an NWO paid announcement. Eric Bischoff is sitting in an empty boardroom. Bischoff makes some matches for NWO Nitro. Lex Luger will face both Konnan and Vincent in a handicap match. Bret Hart wants his NWO member....it will be the man who Bret Hart attacked for no good reason at Starrcade, Scott Hall. The Giant will do battle with both members of Vicious and Delicious in a handicap match. The Steiner Brothers will face the international assassins of the NWO, Masahiro Chono and The Great Muta and the WCW Tag Team Titles will be on the line. Diamond Dallas Page will defend that WCW United States Title against Curt Hennig and Rick Rude will be the special guest referee. Ric Flair seems to be healthy and he will go against both Kevin Nash and Hollywood Hogan in a handicap match. As for Sting, well Sting will not be allowed in the building and if he enters against Bischoff's order, the NWO will beat him to a bloody pulp. So to review, NWO Nitro Matches: Vincent and Konnan vs Lex Luger Bret Hart vs Scott Hall The Giant vs Vicious and Delicious in a handicap match. The Steiner Brothers defend the WCW Tag Team Titles against Chono and Muta Diamond Dallas Page defends the United States Title against Curt Hennig with Rick Rude as the special guest referee. Kevin Nash and Hollywood Hogan vs Ric Flair Sting is banned from the building. In other words, Bischoff is punishing pretty much punishing everyone who saved DDP from the NWO interference on Monday and DDP himself for daring to become the Number One Contender.

NWO Monday Night for 12/29/97: Bobby Heenan and Rick Rude are your announcers. Bobby Heenan said he joined the NWO because he was tired of carrying Tony Schiavone, Dusty Rhodes, and Mike Tenay through broadcasts week for week. Plus the NWO offered Heenan more money then WCW could ever dream. Heenan finishes by calling JJ Dillion, a Bobby Heenan wannabe. The Great Muta and Masahiro Chono defeated the Public Enemy after Muta sprayed mist in the eyes of Johnny Grunge and Chono hit him with the Yakuza Kick to score the pin. Hollywood Hogan and Eric Bischoff came out for the usual. Bischoff says that he is in control tonight and the first match is just a preview of what you are going to see tonight. Bischoff declares that the NWO World Tag Team Champions the Outsiders will defend their titles tonight against a team of high quality. Bischoff makes the challenge for the Steiners to bring their WCW Tag Team Title Belts to Souled Out and defend against the "real champions" in a title unification match. Hogan babbles on and says that Sting's win was a fluke. Hogan goes on and on and out comes the WCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page to shut Hollywood up. Page says that he was happy to see Hogan finally put in his place last night and DDP vows to put Hogan in that place one more time to shut him up. Bischoff declares that Page will face Hogan tonight and the winner is the Number One Contender to the WCW World Champion Sting at Souled Out. The United States Title will be on the line as well. Page and Bischoff exchange parting words as we have a main event tonight on the first edition(not counting the takeover of last week) of NWO Monday Nitro. Randy Savage pinned Chris Jericho after Jericho missed the Lionsault and Savage delivered a piledriver and the Savage Elbowdrop. Savage mouthed off about Scott Steiner on the camera as Jericho threw a tantrum on the outside of the ring. Bill Goldberg pinned Lodi of the Flock after the spear and Jackhammer in the first match that did not involve an NWO member. Rude said that Goldberg is very impressive and would make a good addition to the NWO. Goldberg is 21-0 with that win. Konnan defeated La Parka after the Tequilla Sunrise in a very close match. The Outsiders came out with the bogus NWO World Tag Team Title Belts. They said they would defend the belt against a team of high quality. "Danger...High Voltage" The NWO World Tag Team Champions the Outsiders defeated High Voltage to retain the titles after the Outsider's Edge from Hall to Kaos. Booker T pinned Curt Hennig after The Harlem Hangover in a mild upset. Hennig took Booker T lightly because Booker T was just a tag team wrestler and got put down for three because of the cockiness. The NWO poured into the ring but Booker T ran out through the back. WCW United States Champion Diamond Dallas Page pinned Hollywood Hogan to retain the title and earn a WCW World Title Shot against Sting at Souled Out. The NWO attempted to help Hogan but were cut off by the Giant, Lex Luger, The Steiner Brothers, Sting and Ric Flair. A big brawl happened in the aisle and DDP caught Hogan with the Diamond Cutter and will earn a title shot against Sting at Souled Out. Page could very well become a double champion at Souled Out. Page stares down Sting as Nitro goes off the air.

Starrcade 1997 was the beginning of the end for WCW. There rise in 1996 and 1997 caused a downward spiral that eventually caused them to get trashed in the ratings by the WWF. But what would happen if WCW had made the right decision on that night?(The world title match, of course between Hogan and Sting) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ WCW Starrcade 1997: Rey Misterio Jr. adds his name to the Cruiserweight Title Match between Eddie Guerrero and Dean Malenko. WCW Cruiserweight Champion Eddie Guerrero defeated Dean Malenko and Rey Misterio Jr in a Three Way Dance to retain the Cruiserweight Title after pinning Malenko with the Frog Splash. Rey had Malenko pinned but Eddie cheapshotted him and knocked him out of the ring. The Steiner Brothers and Ray Trayler defeated Vincent, Scott Norton, and Randy Savage in a six man tag team match after Scott Steiner pinned Randy Savage after a belly to belly suplex. The Steiners and Trayler celebrated the biggest win in the career of Scott after the match. Bill Goldberg pinned Steve McMichael after surviving the Tombstone Piledriver and hitting a bone crushing spear tackle and Jackhammer to remain undefeated at the streak of 20-0. Chris Benoit defeated Perry Saturn with the Crippler Crossface despite interference from Sick Boy and Billy Kidman to earn a match with Raven at WCW/NWO Souled Out on January 25th. Disco Inferno came out and declared that he was the greatest Television Champion of all time. Blah, blah, blah. Disco made an open challenge. Well you do not want to do that. Rick Martel defeated Disco Inferno with the Quebec Crab to capture the WCW Television Title in Martel's debut in WCW in less than five minutes. Lex Luger defeated Buff Bagwell with the Torture Rack to blow off their feud. The Giant defeated Kevin Nash by countout after Nash walked off to avoid the Choke Slam. Diamond Dallas Page pinned Curt Hennig after reversing the Hennig Plex into the Diamond Cutter to win the United States Title. Page originally had a disqualification victory after Rick Rude whacked Page in the kidneys with a briefcase but JJ Dillion came out and had the match restarted. Bret Hart was the special referee as Eric Bischoff pinned Larry Zybzyko to win Nitro for the NWO after Bobby "the Brain Heenan interfered striking Zybyzko with a low blow and handing Bischoff a pair of brass knuckles after Bret Hart had been knocked down with a mistimed Zybyzko clothesline earlier in the match. Bret reluctantly made the count for Bischoff and Bischoff celebrated with Heenan, Scott Hall, and Rick Rude. The NWO now has control of Nitro and Larry does not get his match with Scott Hall at Souled Out. Bret called the match right down the middle and even physically prevented Scott Hall from interfering, proving that he was not NWO. Sting defeated Hollywood Hogan to win the WCW World Title by making Hogan submit to the Scorpion Deathlock CLEANLY. No fast counts. No restarts. Just Sting making Hogan his bitch in the center of the ring. Sting celebrated as the WCW lockeroom empitied. NWO may have won Nitro but Sting has wrestled the crown jewel away from the NWO.

Ted DiBiase and Tony Shiavone are your hosts for..... Hogan Live for 6/11/04: Ted DiBiase makes his way to the ring. DiBiase announces his newest member for the Million Dollar Corporation....NATHAN JONES. Jones was the star of Pro Wrestling Hogan during it's initial run, despite Hogan's bald head(oohh Dibiase's in trouble now) being the name sake. DiBiase gives Nathan Jones a shot at the vacant Yellow and Red Title at The Great American Hogan, in two weeks. Whomever wins a ten man battle royal tonight will face Nathan Jones for the championship on that night. To prove that he is a fair man, DiBiase gives Hogan a warm up match for the Battle Royal against Million Dollar Corporation Wrestler, Tatanka, althrough if Hogan does not pin Tatanka or force him to submit, Hogan is out of the battle royal. Dibiase then makes a Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine vs Van Hammer and Honky Tonk Man tag team match where the winner meets for the 10 Minute Time Limit Title at the Great American Hogan. Also DiBiase mentions there will be a fatal four way match tonight between four of the top tag teams in this fed and they all have a chance to impress DiBiase, as the winners will go on to face DiBiase's chosen champions, Virgil and VK Wallstreet for the vacant tag title belts at the Great American Hogan. Overall:50 Crowd Reaction:44 Match Quality:68 (Grenier doesn't touch Butch, yet we get the finish of Dustyness because of the interference. Althrough Blake Beverly nailing Butch from behind, is a bit disturbing giving the Beverly Brothers's gimmicks) A video is shown of Glacier doing some martial arts poses on a mountain covered with ice.
