Dead Brain Cells - "Deadlock"

Kotsay is set to make $16.5 Mill over the next 3 years(2004-2006) at $5.50 Million per year. He has a career .281 BA and a .756 OPS. Miguel Tejada is set to make $72 Million over the next 8 years(2004-2011) while making $11 Mill in 2005, $12 Mill in 2006 and 2007 and $13 Mill in 2008 and 2009. Considering he's a career .270 hitter with a .791 OPS, I don't think Tejada's worth as much as he'll be making.

I'll recommend the Harley & Ivy 3 part mini-series, Shane Glines' work is pretty good and Dini/Timm are always fabulous. The series is a fun romp(Still trying to find when the damn 3rd issue is out) and is worth the $7.50 it'll cost.

Royals now take a 3-0 lead on the Sox in the 4th...yuck

Find Dr. Tom and ask him since he runs the mixed league

I lasted 30 minutes on this movie before turning it off. I just couldn't get into it, maybe it was the total lack of caring for any of the characters.
-
Know what's funny? The Sox are 1st amongst teams in pitches seen per plate appearance at 4.01...that's as a team which makes it even more astounding.
-
Pretty accurate, I'd probably end up being one of those "asshole bosses" that command everybody around and everybody hates.

Here's my voting, complete with stats to show why I chose players and such....FUN! Also sorta ignored the whole every team has to have a guy cause it's BS IMO. Also used Bored's voting and didn't include pitchers because I'm...that lazy. AMERICAN LEAGUE C: IVAN RODRIGUEZ, Detroit Jorge Posada, New York(.440 OBP, .519 SLG) 1B: JASON GIAMBI, New York Ken Harvey, Kansas City(.358/.400 OBP/.537 SLG) Rafael Palmeiro, Baltimore(.279/.396 OBP/.448 SLG) 2B: ALFONSO SORIANO, Texas Ronnie Belliard, Cleveland(.323/.406/.409) 3B: ALEX RODRIGUEZ*, New York Melvin Mora, Baltimore(.384/.466/.616) SS: NOMAR GARCIAPARRA*, Boston Carlos Guillen, Detroit(.328/.408/.530) OF: MANNY RAMIREZ, Boston; VLADIMIR GUERRERO, Anaheim; JOHNNY DAMON*, Boston Lew Ford, Minnesota(.337/.407/.503) Hideki Matsui, New York(.320/.431/.531) Rondell White, Detroit(.317/.391/.525) Travis Hafner, Cleveland(.309/.398/.553) NATIONAL LEAGUE C: MIKE PIAZZA, New York Paul Lo Duca, Los Angeles(.366/.408/.446) 1B: ALBERT PUJOLS*, St. Louis Sean Casey, Cincinnati(.394/.439/.642) Jim Thome, Philadelphia(..309/.413/.638) 2B: JEFF KENT, Houston Todd Walker, Chicago Cubs(.282/.383/.451) 3B: SCOTT ROLEN, St. Louis Mike Lowell, Florida(.346/.426/.670) SS: ADAM EVERETT*, Houston Jack Wilson, Pittsburgh(.350/.367/.515) OF: BARRY BONDS, San Francisco; SAMMY SOSA*, Chicago; KEN GRIFFEY JR.*, Cincinnati Lance Berkman, Houston(.350/.495/.699) Craig Wilson, Pittsburgh(.355/.433/.656) J.D. Drew, Atlanta(.288/.414/.575) Pat Burrell, Philadelphia(.313/.422/.575) Sorry Al, but Drew and Burrell came out with better OPS' for the 1st half so far. If Abreu can manage to improve as the season wears on, he'd get a chance on my squad.

Yup, got changed to 11 for pitchers(hitters still use 9 though)
-
It's usually a popularity contest so no real surprise that Nomah's winning
-
*cough*Get a starting pitcher!!!!!*cough* I mean, look what adding Annie did for Seattle
-
I just felt Abreu was better overall
-
*has a trade pending in the mixed league(Dr. Tom's). Bonds & Smoltz(Can hear the laughing already) for Abreu and Morris. I'll be getting Abreu and Morris but man, my pitching staff severely needed a good, solid 16 win+ starter. I'm dead last in wins, saves(I figure I'll tank it on purpose now), 2nd to last in K's, 4th worst in ERA and 2nd worst in WHIP.

A 3rd 50+ steal guy....christ, are we like harboring guys who can only run in an airplane hangar or something? Must we start looking in cornfields to find power hitters now?

Back to the Future Pulp Fiction Reservoir Dogs Kill Bill Vol. 1

I know now that there is a God, and he / she is kind and merciful. Just wanted to point out, it'll be 4 discs(28 episodes total) as this is "Volume 1" and will have commentary from Dini/Timm on select episodes. Also said to be in chronological order. The release date according to Amazon is July 6th.

Man, talk about busting out a great season after my postseason debacle
-
Maybe I haven't been watching lately but is that the first time La Res has busted that double team finisher out?
-
One of my favs(mainly thanks to teaming with Burton) but I think he's done great in a variety of roles(Blow to Edward Scissorhands to Pirates of the Carribean).
-
screw Kelly....get Tanner in here instead
-
Jeez...well I was wondering how Las Vegas could improve it's payroll and that is certainly one way heh.

My Collection I'd improve on it a ton if I could get any income but oh well. I usually try and focus on the special editions/collector's editions if I can help it. Small but it'll grow in due time hopefully.
