Danny Graves: 27 IP in 27 games, 21 saves in 25 opportunities, 14 runs allowed, 7 home runs(1 HR per 4 IP almost), 4 BB's(.15 per IP) and 19 K's(.70 per IP). As comparisons... Danny Kolb(Milwaukee): 15.2 IP in 17 games, 11 saves in 11 opportunities, 1 run allowed, 0 home runs, 3 BB's(.20 per IP) and 3 K's(.20 per IP) Ugueth Urbina(Florida): 14.1 IP in 15 games, 6 saves in 6 opportunities, 4 runs allowed, 0 home runs, 10 BB's(awful. .71 per IP) and 14 K's(.99 per IP) Jose Mesa(Pittsburgh): 19.1 IP in 19 games, 13 saves in 13 opportunities, 1 run allowed, 0 home runs, 3 BB's(.16 per IP) and 12 K's(.63 per IP) --Just looking at those 3 guys who aren't exactly on stellar teams, saves really don't mean much if the pitcher can just flat out pitch(Shown by Kolb and Mesa, for the meantime at least). Also those 3 are all perfect and have allowed far fewer HR's and haven't blown a save yet. It's not all that hard to see why Graves isn't considered that great by the Cincy fanbase.

The Gun(Despite only the pilot getting involved, the premise sounded fascinating and it had Kirsten Dunst and James Gandolfini(pre-Sopranos) in it at one point). Saw this on the Cancelled series on Trio(IIRC) that looked pretty neat.

I like Youkilis, reminds me of Mark Bellhorn somewhat actually(The getting hits, walks, low K's). Ironically earlier around I want to say 2 PM or so ET time Billy Beane came on WEEI(local New England radio station) and mentioned that the A's had originally drafted Bellhorn and used every chance they had to get him playing time but in the end they had to let him go...speaking of which, Bellhorn cranks out a 2 run HR

Well, the A's are starting to hit Schilling well with a pair of doubles by Byrnes and Chavez(Chavez's was a ground rule).

A couple notes for tonight's games from Rotoworld.com - Chad Allen will be recalled for Class AAA Oklahoma today to take the roster spot of Kevin Mench. He will get the odd start against left-handed pitching and will likely start this evening against Scott Schoeneweis. - The Rangers will recall Gary Matthews Jr. from Triple-A Oklahoma today. He will likely start tonight in center field against left-hander Scott Schoeneweis, and platoon with left-handed hitting Laynce Nix for the next few weeks at the very least. Matthews may make a nice short term pickup in most fantasy league for teams not worried about batting average. - Brian Jordan, who will be placed on the disabled list today, may be facing season-ending knee surgery. He has flown to Atlanta to have the doctor who performed off season surgery on his left knee re-examine him. The Rangers are hopeful that with more rest, Jordan can return to action sometime before the All-Star break. We are not as hopeful. - After receiving treatment on his hamstring muscle yesterday, Kenny Lofton is confident he will be able to play this evening. Manager Joe Torre seems to believe Lofton will be a player tonight as well. Keep him active. - Damain Rolls (cheek and sternum contusions) is still being evaluated, and may not be available for tonight's game. Keep him on the bench until he returns to action. It'll be interesting to see if Matthews Jr.(.242/.324/.371) produces at all for the Rangers, even in a platoon role with Nix. Chad Allen could be productive if he can lower the K's and raise the BB's. He hit .277 in 137 games in 1999 for the Twins. Losing Brian Jordan will sting a bit but the Rangers should be fine so long as they don't lose Young or Soriano. Note to Al: Apparently Brian Morris is a non-existant player, didn't show up at all in a player search on baseballamerica.com

If Prior comes back, I'm a happy man(fantasy wise). Tonight could be a decent slugfest, who's pitching for Houston? Jose Acevedo's pitching for Cincy

I think that is what you meant. nope, I meant the defense of Jordan. Jordan really was underrated as a defender just because his offense was always more noticeable. Credit to basketballreference.com Jordan's Career(As of 2002-2003 season): Averaged 2.35 SPG & .83 BPG Kidd's Career(As of 2002-2003 season): 2.11 SPG & .32 BPG Let's compare Allen Iverson(Considered a great defensive guard at least steals wise). Iverson's Career(As of 2002-2003 season): 2.38 SPG & .22 BPG To further this, let's look at Gary Payton(Considered by some as the best defensive Guard ever) Payton's Career(As of 2002-2003 season): 2.09 SPG & .24 BPG

Baseball - The eye and speed of Rickey Henderson combined with the contact and power of Barry Bonds. Football - The agility and awareness of Barry Sanders combined with the speed/hitting of Darrell Green Basketball - The passing/dribbling of Jason Kidd combined with the scoring/defense of Michael Jordan

I must say, poor Atlanta. *is glad that Denver is off to such a hot start and hot damn at hitting 10 HR's already* I think my career high is like 26 or something
-
Dude and here's a much delayed thanks, heh. Damn modem died yesterday morning(how appropriate)
-
Denver eh? So I'm playing in Coors Field right? *wants a Coors Field STAT*.... I need to concoct a way to get to Las Vegas before I retire, heh.

Cheesecake, Cookie Dough Ice Cream and a Huge Vanilla Milkshake. If it's my last meal, may as well go all out.

Same date as Raven_Effect for me, graduating HS(ironically my HS is going down and a new one is gonna be THE one next year, same thing that happened in my middle school). Kinda weird to be the last graduating class of both middle school and HS but neat at the same time.

If you could go on any reality show.....
HarleyQuinn replied to Damaramu's topic in Television & Film
Probably MTV's "Fear" if you would considering that a reality show -
Damnit...*needs to steal 78 now*
-
*cough*Take me to Las Vegas please*cough* Anyways, nice to see that I was 63 for 82 in steals in 2014(77%!) and busted out 15 triples again. Also surprised that I've led the league in steals 4 times(likely 5 including 2014).

Todd Helton, seriously I never hear anybody giving him love. Yeah, I know he's playing at Coors Field but still, solid on the road too. 2004 to date: .320/.454/.558, 36 BB's vs 18 K's, 7 HR's, 20 RBI's Home: .338/.495/.545, 24 BB's vs 12 K's, 26 H/77 AB Road: .300/.402/.571, 12 BB's vs 6 K's, 21 H/70 AB

Ya know...I sorely miss Trot, Garret Anderson and Prior right now heh. Prior probably more so as my offense has been remaining solid each week but my pitching has been up and down throughout the season. Bit the bullet and picked up reliever John Reidling of the Reds, 1 ER in 22 IP and a 0.41 ERA can't hurt, he'll likely take Rodrigo Lopez's place in the pen on my team as Lopez is now moving into the Orioles rotation in place of Ainsworth.

Wow...guess I really wanted to win this game 7 eh? 5 RBI's and I win player of the game, very nice. Definitely makes up for my absolute postseason suckage

I use to have a doll of Copper which I've since lost and remain heartbroken over, heh. That's probably the first movie on my list with others being The Sandlot, Mary Poppins and 101 Dalmations(Animated Version).
