Well Baltimore is turning into a decent ballclub... In terms of hitters they have Miguel Tejada, Javy Lopez, Jay Gibbons already. As for pitchers they have Kurt Ainsworth, Rodrigo Lopez, Willis Roberts, Sidney Ponson and Jorge Julio. Granted not the most notable pitching names but still decent to solid nonetheless. Gibbons hit .277, 23 HR's and a .456 SLG.

Ya know! I actually looked up the schedules/results for both teams and I honestly think that Kansas scored more points throughout the season then N.C. State, let me go do some math now. Well....here's my results FUCK *prays for Kansas to win through hell or high water* NC State PF: 433 PA: 359 Differential: 74 points Kansas PF: 358 PA: 340 Differential: 18 points Good News: Kansas allowed 19 points fewer then N.C. State Bad News: N.C. State scored 75 points more then Kansas N.C. State allowed 40+ points only 2 times. 30+ points 5 times. Least allowed was 15. Scored 40+ 5 times, 30+ 7 times. Least scored was 17. Kansas allowed 40+ points only 4 times. 30+ points 5 times. Least allowed was 6(Jacksonville State). Scored 40+ 4 times, 30+ 7 times. Least scored was 3(Nebraska). On paper, the teams actually look evenly matched with the exception that N.C. State seems to put more points on the board overall then Kansas however Kansas has held 3 teams(Missouri, Jacksonville State, Iowa State) to less then 17 points.

Eisley isn't bad so long as he passes the ball each game. Van Horn would be better in a Vin Baker-esque low post/outside shot role and if Allan Houston would bother to pass more he could be solid as well.

You gotta play the streaks: St. Louis had a 13 game home winning streak going. Cincinatti had a 40 game road losing streak to teams with winning records. The one week I decided not to research and go on gut instinct...ugh
