Week 12 results for braves/kkk contests...
HarleyQuinn replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in Sports
I'm confident on Green Bay & Tampa Bay...slightly confident on Cleveland and iffy on New Orleans. I figure my 17 pts will be close I hope -
Another solid night for me as I'm quickly rebounding from my poor weeks(Though I'm worried about tonight as Shaq is listed as questionable). 135 points for me from last night with KG just being a fucking monster! 11/24 Lineup PG: Chauncey Billups SG: Quentin Richardson SF: Shareef-Abdhur Rahim PF: Kurt Thomas C: Ben Wallace Coach: Rick Carlisle
-
Oh...My....God!!! 161 points last night!!!! My 11/23 Lineup PG: Chauncey Billups SG: Vince Carter SF: Peja Stojakovic PF: Zachary Randolph C: Shaquille O'Neal Coach: Phil Jackson
-
I'll toss in San Francisco signing Edgardo Alfonzo for this past season. They pay the guy $4 Mill to hit .259, 13 HR's and a .334 OBP? Hopefully Fonz can improve over the upcoming seasons.

81 pts last night, too bad Jahidi White did jack & shit by playing only 4 minutes for 0 VGM but oh well. 11/22 PG: Stephon Marbury SG: Vince Carter SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Kenyon Martin C: Predrag Drobnjak Coach: Don Nelson
-
Belle was worth the $10 Mill in 1998 at least, 49 HR's and a .328 BA, .399 OBP and a career high 152 RBI's.

Offerman was solid in his first year for the Sox in 99(.294 BA, .391 OBP) but then just bombed after that. Bichette was also solid(if unspectacular) in his 2 seasons with the Sox. He hit .289 in 30 games his 1st season(2000) and hit .286 in 107 games in 2001.

Woman - I knew this would happen. Michael now has custody of my kids! Michael - Don't look at your mother kids. I have plans tonight.

Damn that sucks. I too marked for Ladybugs & Sidekicks(I've always wanted a DVD of it). I was wondering what he was up to but this came as a shocker. RIP JB

91 pts on yet another 4 man rotation(Damn O'Neal, bless you Peja). Doing pretty damn well this week actually though I'm worried about tonight as I have all my games in the Suns vs Magic game so ugh. 11/21 Lineup PG: Chauncey Billups SG: Ronald Murray SF: Kevin Garnett PF: Tim Duncan C: Brad Miller Coach: Phil Jackson

I think Doc would've been better off had the Magic bothered to keep guys like Darrell Armstrong and not trade Bo Outlaw.

lol, yeah. I read a few posts on the A's board and...yikes! I'm expecting a full on witchhunt resulting in the deaths of the whole A's organization with the way they talk over there. I personally feel that it would be better to try and re-sign Foulke as it will give them a dominant presence when reaching the 8th and 9th innings in close games. I think Bobby Crosby will do solid(.283 BA, .386 OBP, .437 SLG) in place of Tejada.

*Curses a blue streak at facing Dr. Tom* Nice to see I'm on the slight rebound though with scores of 8, 6 and a great 12 last week SEATTLE - 17 Week Twelve Schedule Carolina Minnesota Indianapolis N.Y. Jets New England New Orleans Cleveland Seattle Green Bay [LOCK] Denver St. Louis Cincinnati Kansas City Tennessee Miami Tampa Bay (Monday Night Game)

Don't the A's already have 4 solid starters already in Harden, Hudson, Zito and Mulder? Justin Duchscherer had a monster season in AAA(14-2 record, 3.25 ERA and a 118 to 18 K/BB ratio) and could probably fill in & do just as good/better then Lilly did(12-10 and a 4.34 ERA). In the three seasons where Lilly has pitched 20+ games, he has a career 4.47 ERA which isn't exactly promising.

I was just looking at other catchers and found it interesting that Varitek in the #9 spot(usually) hit .273 for the season with a better OBP(.351) and SLG(.512). Also as comparisons...Benji Molina hit .281 for the Angels, Brook Fordyce hit .273 for the Orioles, Paul Lo Duca also hit .273 with a .4 better OBP(.335). Eddie Perez hit .271 as well for the Brewers so although Hernandez may have broken out a little this season there are quite a few guys who could match his season not to mention the guys who had better seasons((Jason Varitek, Mike Lieberthal, Ivan Rodriguez, Jorge Posada, Pierzynski, etc.).

I can see what's so great about Kotsay. The guy's an upgrade at OBP(.338) and SLG compared to Hernandez and especially Long. Hernandez really had a sub-par season(.273 BA, .331 OBP, .458 SLG) with his 21 HR's only being the main thing that vaulted him above Kotsay. In the 3 seasons prior, Hernandez hit .241, .254 and .233!! That's freaking abysmal. The A's could easily get a better hitting catcher off the FA market who could handle the pitching staff just as well. Kotsay's career numbers(.281 BA, .338 OBP*Beating Hernandez's high* and .418 SLG). Only downgrade IMO is the SLG%.

Happy B-Day to the yester's and the today peoples. Yeah...*bops balloon around*
-
lol, I was the complete opposite of basically every team's pick...ouch
-
I managed 101 points despite AI's awful 7 VGM, not bad at all
-
Jeez...oh well, I'll be keeping the wine company in the cellar it looks like
-
I personally would've gone with Halladay, Delgado or Ortiz(Come on, the guy helped the Sox out a hell of a lot both during the season and the post-season. Also was very solid across the board)
-
Blah blah, blame the tuck rule all you guys want but it only led to the tying TD. The Raiders choked on D, letting the Pats score the winning FG

*punches Mr. J in the face* Sooner or later you'll put yourself over that "limit" and end up killing somebody or yourself
