and the variety comes in the minor things...Rock vs Austin, both "needed" that World Title. HHH and Rock both wanted to be better then the other. Austin wanted to get rid of the aging Bret. The variety is made up in the simple backstories...they don't need necrophilia to makeup the "variety" behind the feud.

Dude!! HATRED IS ENOUGH TO ADD SUSPENSE! Fucking christ, tell me that two guys who genuinely hate each other doesn't draw? Name me one instance where it didn't draw a little at least? The biggest feuds(Rock vs Austin, HHH vs Rock, Bret vs Austin, Austin vs Vince) were ALL based around hate and the fact that they HATED one another...

Let's look at classic examples... Austin vs Bret was based on pure hatred and helped get fans interested in the WWF/E DX vs NOD was based on hatred and seeing who the better stable was. Feuds that were sub-categoried in this was HHH vs Rock(Over the IC Title) and X-Pac vs D'Lo(Euro Title) That's just two feuds that were fairly recent(In the late 90's) during the WWF/E's slow swing upwards

I'm digging Carnivale on HBO and earlier it was Dead Like Me, also on HBO. None of the big stations(Fox, NBC, ABC) shows have really looked that interesting with the exception of Tru Calling but knowing my luck, I'll end up liking it and they'll pull the rug out from under it like that awesome ghost hospital based show on ABC(IIRC) or CBS or something and American Gothic when that was new.

I loved Spike's performance in Beneath You... Spoiler (Highlight to Read): especially the whole church scene, just great. Also loved how he "glimpsed" back to Awesome Season 4 Spike in the fight with Buffy in the Bronze. Wish it went a little bit longer though

also what's with everybody bitching at Mistah J over this? How else could we do an NBA Thread? What would you guys have preferred, several threads titled OAO Week 1 NBA Thread, OAO Week 2 NBA Thread, etc.? Personally, I think it's great to have one thread designated to the NBA Season since it helps direct content and allow for coherent discussion without drifting off topic. Hell, the damn BTVS Season 7 Thread was great in keeping discussion relevant so really what's the big deal here? You can still make topics concerning trades, etc. but I think of this thread like the OAO Week "#" threads are for the NFL, a place to discuss the actual games.

Well, Richardson will only be out for 3 games so his loss won't be that pivotal however I'm fearing Murphy's foot injury as that could keep him out for a while if it continues to bother him

I think Jamison may take a nice dive in PPG & RPG since he'll have to battle with Nowitzki, Nash, Finley, Walker, Delk, Najera, etc. for not only just playing time but the ball as well

Vince is capable of as many/more points then Jamison and Jamison's likely to come off the bench for Walker. Also Carter is better at assists and possible rebounds. Career Numbers.. Vince = 5.4 RPG, 3.7 APG, 1.08 BPG, 1.36 SPG, 24.1 PPG Antawn = 7.50 RPG, 1.8 APG, .44 BPG, .98 SPG, 20.2 PPG Vince is the superior player just judging from career stats...risky yes but possibly far more rewarding if healthy
