http://www.nfldraftbible.com/index2.php?op...df=1&id=783 ^ A good "mock draft" of the small school players for the 2009 NFL Draft. Good to know who to keep an eye on/ear out for.

    NFL Week 6

    1. Who is the best QB in the league up to this point? Tough call but I'll go with Jay Cutler. He's 2nd in the NFL with 191 PA and has a 65.4% completion along with 10 TD vs. 4 INT and has been sacked only 2 times. 2. What the fuck happened to San Diego's running game? Offensive line and the loss of Lorenzo Neal as others have pointed out. He's still averaging 66 yards per game and I think part of the blame is also facing some tough run defenses in Carolina, New York Jets, and Miami (All rank in the Top 13 Rush Defenses). 3. Indianapolis is dead last in the league in rushing and dead last against the run. Baltimore is 4th in the league in rushing and FIRST against the run. Do the Colts need to get lucky again? I think they're really exposed without Bob Sanders in the lineup and it seems like Sanders gets injured and comes back year after year. With the Colts struggling on offense, they're screwed because teams have shown that they can score (Bears, Jags, Texans) on that defense through the run game AND through the air. Right now, the Colts have to hope that they can put up 27+ a game because what people forget about their SB run was that the Colts were winning low scoring dog fights despite a piss poor run defense. They only had 4 games where their opponents scored fewer than 21 points and they themselves topped 27 points 8 times during the regular season. 4. How long does Rod Marinelli keep his job? Up through week 11 after they only have 1-2 wins on the season. 5. Tennessee has two players with 4 INTs this year, and another with 3. By far the most in the league. Can this defense carry them into the playoffs and win there? Their offense really needs to keep it up. A ton of people mention the 2000 Ravens but they forget how good they were on offense when Dilfer came in as a starter. From week 10 on, the Ravens scored 27, 24, 27, 44, 24, 13, and 34 to close out the regular season. The Titans may win games 13-10 or 17-14 but they need to consistently put up 21+ points in the playoffs if they want to reach and win the Super Bowl.

Since when do I do division 3? Although... when is Mount Union gonna move up to Division II at least? Pussies beating up on weaker teams. Big ups to Flacco and Hightower representing in the NFL by the way. The current Beasts in I-AA Football 1: RB Jordan Scott (Colgate - 5'11" 205 Senior) Averaging 203.5 rushing yards per game and has 9 TD in 4 games. 2: QB Cameron Higgins (Weber State - 6'2" 195 Sophomore) Averaging 295.3 pssing yards per game and has 19 TD vs. 4 INT in 6 games. 3: WR Ramses Barden (Cal Poly - 6'6" 227 Senior) Averaging 156.5 receiving yards per game and has 7 TD in 4 games.** 4: WR Andre Roberts (Citadel - 5'11" 175 Junior) Averaging 22 yards per punt return on 14 returns in 5 games. 5: WR Kevin Teel (Hampton - 5'9" 168 Senior) Averaging 43.2 yards per kick return on 9 returns in 5 games and has scored 2 TD. ** Seriously, watch out for this kid in the NFL Draft this year. Could be a 2nd/3rd round selection based on his career alone and is putting up numbers like Randy Moss was doing (1996: 78-1709-29) maybe without the TD catches though. I just hope the NFL either makes him an Antonio Gates type TE or he becomes a taller version of Terrell Owens. His numbers last year: 57-1467-18. Ramses highlights vs. South Dakota

    Best pre match interviews?

Wrestlemania VIII - Bret Hart & Roddy Piper solely for the fact that they were both faces coming into the match and with one simple shove, Roddy cements himself the heel role (playing it up even further in the match).

    NFL Week 5

I really like Atlanta and am impressed at how they've turned things around. Matt Ryan has a comfortable go to receiver in Roddy White, they have a solid running game with Turner/Norwood despite the lack of a great O-Line and I think people are seriously underestimating their offensive ability to get into opponent territory. They tend to punt fairly often in the opponent's 40-45 territory. Here's a look at their big drives. The games in TB and CAR could've been different had they turned the field goals into touchdowns. Week 1: Drive 1: TD, Drive 2: TD, Drive 3: TD, Drive 4: FG at DET 32, Drive 5: TD, Drive 6: FG at DET 7, Drive 7: End of game at DET 16 Week 2: Drive 1: Punt at TB 36, Drive 2: punt at TB 38, Drive 3: FG at TB 14, Drive 4: FG at TB 9, Drive 5: FG at TB 6 Week 3: Drive 1: TD, Drive 2: TD, Drive 3: FG at KC 9, Drive 4: TD, Drive 5: TD, Drive 6: Punt at KC 44, Drive 7: Punt at KC 43 Week 4: Drive 1: Punt at CAR 46, Drive 2: FG at CAR 15, Drive 3: FG at CAR 26, Drive 4: FG at CAR 26, Drive 5: Punt at CAR 43, Drive 6: Turnover on Downs at CAR 15 Week 5: Drive 1: TD, Drive 2: FG at GB 24, Drive 3: Punt at GB 41, Drive 4: TD, Drive 5: Punt at GB 45, Drive 6: INT at GB 12, Drive 7: FG at GB 23, Drive 8: TD, Drive 9: End of game at GB 37

    The NFL All-Time Draft

I think my team would've been better served if I just didn't use the words "run and shoot" and instead opted for either a power run game or even the Patriots 2007 style "spread" offense. Looking back, I really really should've went for a late 80's New York Giants style team.

Ugh... I get to watch the inept Colts Run D and sputtering offense take on Houston's mediocre overall team (Steve Slaton may get me to watch) or the defending SB Champion Giants whom I despise just third to the Colts & Jets taking on a Seattle team who have Engram & Branch back.

    NFL Week 5

The best team they've beaten is the Jags. And? Can't fault them for the schedule they were given but their defense is really stout (Held ADP to 80 yards). They have Baltimore and KC coming up (Could start 6-0) before heading to Indianapolis where the Colts have allowed an average of 199 yards rushing a game!! I expect the Titans to batter the Colts with White/Johnson. The only challenges for Tennessee are: Indianapolis (arguable with that run D), Green Bay, Chicago, Pittsburgh, and the Colts again in Week 17. Dallas has a great team but have allowed 37 points to Philly and lost at home to Washington while allowing 26 points. The same schedule argument can be put up against the Giants (wins over St. Louis & Cincinnati) and I don't think the Bills will hold up.

    NFL Week 5

    1. Who is the best team in the league? Tennessee Titans easily. They are 4-0 and have scored 102 points while allowing an NFL 2nd lowest 46 (playing 1 more game than leaders Giants & Ravens) 2. Who is the worst team in the league? St. Louis Rams easy. They've allowed 147 points on the year! 3. Who is going to take a big step forward the next 4 games? Baltimore Ravens. Played the Steelers into OT and have a great defense as usual. They just need the offense to come around and Flacco has a big enough arm for the deep throw while Ray Rice should be a contributor at RB if their O-Line can hold up. 4. Rookie of the year candidates? Quite a few actually... Jerod Mayo on the defensive side but Darren McFadden, Joe Flacco, Steve Slaton (Watch him), and DeSean Jackson are all making names for themselves in the race. Can't believe I forgot Chris Johnson :bag: 5. Other than Brady, what is the most costly injury to have happened so far? The Steelers running game woes. They pretty much build their offense around the run game and with Willie Parker & Mendenhall both injured, Roethlisberger is gonna get smashed around like a rag doll while trying to throw it 45+ times to win a game.
