Tons of pick-ups, Harlequins managed to nab PF Lonny Baxter who has had a very productive pre-season. Also with the acquisition of Mason, it allowed me the chance to get rid of Banks who isn't a proven commodity(I'd rather see Mike James start myself for the C's)

Wowz...very good week for me this time around. Here's hoping I can get 9+ wins in Weeks 11 & 12 to continue having a chance at cracking the Top 20 Damn my only being in 38th right now though

I figured I would start a thread pointing out simulators for those who are interested in them. Eastside Hockey Manager - Neat NHL Game with Minor League teams, Training, Pre-Season Games, etc. Pretty in-depth game and it's free. Go to F Hockey for up to date schedules & rosters.

Updated Team PG: Gary Payton(Likely Starting, should get 7-8 assists, 2-3 steals, 16-19 points) SG: Allen Iverson(Should get 2-4 steals, 5-7 assists, 27-30 points) SF: Lamar Odom(Should get 8-10 rebounds, 14-17 points, 3-5 assists, 1 block) PF: Amare Stoudamire(Should get 9-12 rebounds, 18-21 points, 2 assists, 2 blocks) C: Shaq(Should get 6-8 rebounds, 22-25 points, 3 assists, 1 block) Coach: Randy Ayers(Should do well against Pat Riley and the Heat)

Yeah, I love that too cuz it makes the episode more tense and dramatic

Got the win and went to 6th place..I'm starting Delhomme this week so watch him do awful heh, although he is playing the Saints D so I have a little hope. I got Horn, Schroeder, Harrison and Thompson starting at WR so I'm expecting huge games from Schroeder(Playing Chicago) and Harrison(Playing Houston). I also got Emmitt playing 49ers D so bleh, Onterrio's up against the Giants D but he should do somewhat decent.

Raef is pretty damn good at least judging from his tenure in Denver... Hell his career numbers! 7.1 Rebounds per Game 12.2 Points per Game 2.22 Blocks per Game Raef had 10+ PPG every single season with the exception of last season with Dallas. Same goes for 7+ RPG every season so the dude is quite capable of not only being consistent but being a solid force in the paint as well. Ranked 2nd in the NBA in Blocks and BPG in 2001-2002. In 1999-2000, ranked 8th in the NBA so he's also quite good at getting blocked shots.

That and Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Joyce's death are like the most heart wrenching moments I've EVER seen on any television show
-
Did he wrestle any house show matches then?
-
Just curious, how much was Walker set to make?

Definitely the Super Bowl 2001 win, just neat Great games including the AFC Championship and Superbowl itsself relying on Vin's kicks NBA - Celtics making the playoffs and managing to get by the Pacers and making it to the Eastern Conference Finals NHL - Ray Bourque finally winning the Stanley Cup with Colorado, just a cool moment for Bourque and we're glad to have him win it MLB - Our sendoff to Clemens, sure we all hate him for going to the Yanks and handing the Sox their ass but we also respect the hell out of what he meant to the Red Sox and the great years he put in for us as fans

Coolz...and that folks is how you do a successful trade in this league
-
Trade offered

How about this Flik... F/C Nene Hilario(839 points, 491 rebounds, 149 assists, 127 steals, 65 blocks) FOR G/F Desmond Mason(1,147 points, 523 rebounds, 163 assists, 67 steals, 32 blocks) Pro's for Gotham Harlequins: Much needed scorer, capable rebounder, a little better assist wise. Helps me upgrade a ton over Shane Battier, possibly using Battier in the Utility spot(Where Nene currently is) Pro's for Crimson Storm: Helps you out big on steals and upgrades you at blocks, (similar to Grant on points and upgrades with assists, steals and blocks)
-
Sorry Flik but I'll pass on Murphy for Lenard...Lenard mainly gives me points(not as much as Murphy could probably give me) and I like Murphy too much to trade him. Also I'm likely picking up a G/F who could help me out in double/doubles(boards & points) if the starter gets injured. Also losing Murphy for Lenard would cause me to drop considerably in rebounds while not gaining much in the way of assists.

Actually Pedro was doing very well up until the 8th however, Little left him in so if anything, blame Little and his poor managing decision and not Pedro New Me...

*Grabs the noose and hangs an Oakland A's doll* Woe be those who root for perennial choke artists

Looking at pre-season stats, Jiri Welsch can score as he scored 15 points, 19 points and 15 points in 3 games. Lafrentz had 10 boards & 11 points in 1 game so if he gets enough touches, he's capable of being solid.

Is there a way to find out which team has top billing in the waiver request thing?
-
Also Raz, no go on the deal. Giricek is solid however Williams is the only guy on my team who's great at assists and I'd be losing around 500 assists alone which is just way too much considering they are very close in FGM, FTM, Blocks, Steals and Points. You might want to try and pick up Charlie Ward as he'll be the starting PG for the Knicks and is capable of 3-7 assists per game and is able to also help chip in 10+ points.
-
*is confused on the waivers thing* Erm...so how do these waivers work then?
-
*yawns* Oh wait! Is this supposed to be a new, radical idea or something? Yeah, thought so...
-
Coolz, I'll be in the 2006 draft, 2 years out of high school
-
Really? It says that they won't be decided till 12:59 Pacific or whatever on the 21st and is he your first priority? If not, you'll likely get your first priority and then drop down the chart to last, etc. If you do get him though... *pulls out the mallet*
