I'd be willing to fill any vacancy that may come up (unless there's a wait list I missed).

Black Mask just for being sick... Here's my reasoning: http://z8.invisionfree.com/Superdickery_Fo...=3473&st=25 2nd post down

Brennan's release is definitely sidearm and it's almost like he "pushes" his throws too, given the motion. In the NFL, the defensive line will be constantly knocking his passes down. I think he could be a solid pro but the QB coach will probably try and overhaul his mechanics to at least a 3/4ths delivery (similar to Vince Young) if possible.

That's DI-AA/FCS and I explained to Vitamin X in another College Football Thread. To summarize... A: Why not? B: Nobody else focuses on that in these threads so I stand out and C: The quality is often deemed as inferior to I-A (while somewhat true...) and yet the NFL drafts quite a few guys from the division and a lot of players transfer down from I-A teams so it's neat seeing a guy like Justin Rascati make a name for himself in I-AA when he could've been a backup in I-A instead. It's also neat knowing that talented players like Jerry Rice, Brian Westbrook, Terrell Owens, Tony Romo, etc. came from "small" I-AA schools and I get a chance to spotlight a guy who may be the next elite small school player.

Spotlight FCS games... #1 Appalachian State takes on their biggest in-division team at this point in #13 Wofford. Hoping to make the streak 7 games, #5 North Dakota State takes on Central Michigan. Howard also takes on Eastern Michigan. Texas Southern faces off against UTEP and Sacramento State goes up against New Mexico.

I have a chance at 2-0 if Akers does nothing and the Eagles D is atrocious. Made a slew of moves in the 3 leagues I'm in to try and better myself for upcoming weeks.

Switching from a surefire winning Steelers to Panthers was such a fabulously smart move *bash*

Boy... I do great in the NFL pick'em but this college year has been an awful start despite a somewhat solid week this time around (Damn Arkansas).
-
I believe I also improve to 2-0, winning a big NFC East game. Managed to back into the playoffs at 8-8 last year but want to get in with a stronger record this go around.

Damn Panthers...

Bringing more WCW Luchadore Love because you all need to relive the time period of Eddie/Chavo and Jericho/Juvi A lot of this I haven't seen before (in part due to my being a loyal WWF Fan at the time) so here's to hoping to enlighten some others that missed this time period too. 1997-09-15: Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Juventud Guerrera 1997-12-01: Rey Misterio Jr. vs. Juventud Guerrera 1998-01-05: Psicosis vs. Juventud Guerrera 1998-01-08: Ultimo Dragon vs. Juventud Guerrera 1998-01-19: Chris Jericho vs. Juventud Guerrera 1998-02-02: Psicosis vs. Juventud Guerrera 1998-02-05: Billy Kidman vs. Juventud Guerrera 1998-02-19: Billy Kidman vs. Juventud Guerrera 1998-02-19: Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Psicosis 1998-03-16: Chris Jericho vs. Juventud Guerrera 1998-03-16: Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Booker T. 1998-03-23: Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Ultimo Dragon 1998-03-30: Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Kaz Hayashi 1998-04-06: Chris Jericho vs. Juventud Guerrera 1998-04-06: Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Ultimo Dragon 1998-04-16: Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Chris Jericho 1998-04-20: Chris Jericho vs. Juventud Guerrera 1998-04-27: Chavo Guerrero Jr. vs. Chris Jericho Matches featuring The Man Of 1,000 Holds 1995-10-02: Eddie Guerrero vs. Dean Malenko 1995-10-23: Dean Malenko/Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero/Mr. JL 1996-05-06: Dean Malenko vs. Jushin Liger 1997-09-08: Dean Malenko vs. Psicosis 1997-10-20: Dean Malenko vs. Curt Hennig 1997-10-27: Dean Malenko vs. Rey Misterio Jr. 1997-11-17: Eddie Guerrero vs. Dean Malenko 1997-12-15: Dean Malenko vs. Fit Finlay 1998-01-02: Dean Malenko vs. Chris Benoit 1998-02-16: Dean Malenko/Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero/Chris Jericho 1998-02-19: Dean Malenko vs. Chris Jericho 1998-03-09: Dean Malenko vs. Billy Kidman

McNeese State also beat UL-Lafayette 38-17 behind RB Jamie Leonard (19 carries, 134 yards, 1 TD). I think the list is now 6 teams that the FCS has beaten... maybe 1-2 more than normal but nice to see. #16 Sam Houston State gave #5 North Dakota State a fight in a 41-38 loss that may bump them up a bit in the standings. Rhett Bomar (Remember him?) went 36-61 for 358 yards with 4 TD/1 INT for SHS. Also ran for 103 yards on 17 carries. #17 Illinois State beat #14 Eastern Illinois 24-21 behind QB Luke Drone's 267 yards and 2 TD.

New Hampshire (FCS) beat Marshall (FBS) in a shootout 48-35.
-
New Hampshire is raping Marshall, 24-0 at halftime... wow.
-
Citadel ties Wisconsin 21-21 thanks to a 19 yard TD pass by Dawson. Dawson has been impressive - 13/16 for 140 yards and 3 TD.
-
19-10 UMass lead off a Rasheed Rancher bobbled catch gets pulled in. Liam now has 2 TD passes in the 1st half. This could end up being a 25+ score for both teams easy if Towson can answer.
-
UMass has just tied Towson 10-10 with 1:46 left off in the 1st quarter off a Liam Coen screen TD pass. Missed XP but a FG was made so it's now 12-10 UMass with 10:12 in the 1st half.

I'm curious to see if... A: Brady Quinn sees any playing time, even as early as midway through the 3rd quarter (if not earlier since they traded Frye and have 2 QBs on their roster unless Joshua Cribbs is the emergency #3?) B: Eli threw on the side today I believe. He'll probably be the backup but I want to see how Jared Lorenzen does after enjoying some of his performances in college.

Really need the win this week... come on Arkansas and Miss!

I've gone the risky route and picked Carolina to beat Houston.

Tying into Too Cool and Scotty 2 Hotty... Albert as the "Hip Hop Hippo"... Seriously, there was a period where it seemed anybody associated with Too Cool got massively over.

*ducks head at missing this* #7 Southern Illinois also beat Northern Illinois last week 34-31 thanks to a 30 yard TD pass by Nick Hill with 22 seconds left. Nick Hill went 21-33 (64%) for 238 yards and 3 TD. So... FBS Teams beaten by FCS Teams: Michigan, Rice, Northern Illinois, and Iowa State. Here are a few early offensive spotlight candidates... QB Kelcy Luke (Alabama A&M): 39-61 (64%) for 562 yards (9.21 YPA) with 7 TD vs. 1 INT. QB Jacob Phillips (William & Mary): 39-55 (71%) for 575 yards (10.45 YPA) with 5 TD vs. 0 INT. WR Reginald Jackson (Grambling): 11 catches for 230 yards (20.90 YPC) and 2 TD. From The Sports Network... "The fallout from the win at Michigan also had one other effect. Associated Press announced that it would allow voters to cast ballots for FCS teams after several voters questioned the ban against FCS teams last week. With the change in policy, all Division I teams are now eligible for the AP Top-25 The Mountaineers were listed on four ballots this week in the AP poll and received 19 points, good for 33rd place. Appalachian State remained a unanimous No. 1 in The Sports Network's Top-25."
