Yeah, I'm definitely looking forward to picking it up at some point. Right now, I'm waiting for MHC to offer the Batgirl Adventures #1 special before I buy a batch of the Harley comics I have on my "list of comics to get" though.

A very good resource for comic book pricing

Batman Adventures #3 Writer: Ty Templeton Penciller: Rick Burchett Pages 1, 2, and 3 can be found here. Reason: A fabulous look at why Harley is so infatuated with the Joker. He returns to Harley as a perfectly normal, SANE, loving boyfriend completely devoted to her needs. However, Harley despises him for being so. My favorite scene occurs on page 4 when Harley throws a knife at the Joker, who doesn't even realize what happened, and Harley's utter despair, "Snap out of it! I just tried to kill you, and you didn't even blink!" Just a really neat look at the relationship from Harley's POV offering us a glimpse that maybe she has become as twisted as him and can't accept any other way of life with her Mistah J. Artistically, I love the expressions on Harley and I love the way Harley's drawn. Joker and Bats aren't bad either. Also one of the few non-Dini written Harley stories that I like. I also like Batman Adventures #28, mainly for the scene where Harley and Joker are escaping from Arkham but be warned, the story itself is kinda weak but the artwork of Harley is good.

I'd dig the Pats nabbing Michael Griffin with their 1st pick. They could go CB for the #2 pick too.

Buffy the Complete Box Set (Seasons 1-7)
HarleyQuinn replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in Television & Film
The second half was really strong in Season 1 actually. The Pack, Angel, Nightmares, and Prophecy Girl were all solid to fantastic episodes with The Puppet Show and Out of Sight, Out of Mind not being that horrible either (and Cordy gets some good character development during OOS, OOM). My Top 10 Underated Episodes (Really good but not cited enough when discussing seasons) 1: Revelations (3.07) 2: Choices (3.19) 3: Phases (2.15) 4: The Pack (1.06) 5: Blood Ties (5.13) 6: Doomed (4.11) 7: No Place Like Home (5.05) 8: The Dark Age (2.08) 9: Dead Things (6.13) 10: New Moon Rising (4.19) -

Buffy the Complete Box Set (Seasons 1-7)
HarleyQuinn replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in Television & Film
I was only using spoilers tags because Matt Young posted in the thread about jumping into the show for the first time (or from what I gather, not having seen the early seasons). Why spoil his fun? -
To try and get my inept offense going, I grabbed Cliff Floyd, Chris Snelling, and Jason Lane to give me a boost in RBI/HRs. *shakes head* Also doesn't help that both Schmidt and Lopez have now hit the DL either.

Just wanted to chime in for those catching onto Buffy or watching through Season 1 now on FX... The Pack is a really good (underrated IMO) episode. -

"This Year's Girl" and and "Who Are You?" are a couple of my favorite episodes from Season 4. *Goes to watch Something Blue again* -
Buffy the Complete Box Set (Seasons 1-7)
HarleyQuinn replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in Television & Film
My favorite is Season 3, followed by Season 2, then Season 5 although S2 and S5 can interchange depending on the mood. S3 just has too many great episodes, storylines, and characters to not be #1 for me. -
I think you can alter the lineups for the next week up through Sunday.
-
Pulled this stunt in the board league too... dropped out with some dumb remark.
-
My offense continues to sputter along at a rate of suck while my SPs imploded and killed any chance at my winning ERA or WHIP. Currently sitting at a horrible 7-15-2 record and am in 17th... ugh.

Monday Night Raw: Ladder Match - Jeff Hardy vs. Undertaker An underrated ladder match IMO and maybe in the Top 5 if you prefer the story based ones over the spot infested ones. Jeff kills himself on several spots, takes a straight ass kicking while selling it all like he's getting mauled by a grizzly bear, and Taker does his job of being the intimidating attacker. Also included another brutal chairshot by Hardy (Jeff seems to throw great chairshots... This match, vs. Brock, maybe in one of the TLC's) although the ending didn't hold up much compared to seeing it for the first time but it was still effective. Reminded me a bit of the HBK/Taker HIAC but without the truly crazy bump.

Screw Holds and Saves... I'm going with a 7 man rotation next week. I picked up Vargas back up along with Rodrigo Lopez and the underrated Brett Tomko. Tomko had a 1.37 WHIP in 2005 and a decent enough 4.48 ERA. Vargas = Tomko Part II but with more K's. Lopez had a 3.59 ERA/1.28 WHIP and 4.90 ERA/1.41 WHIP in 2004 and 2005. Here's hoping he can hit those numbers again.
-
Goods new is that Schmidt won't miss his start Sunday. Bad news is that my offense is once again going up against a team whose offense is currently batting really well, which I can't afford. I am happy with my OBP/SLG but annoyed at trailing or being tied in most categories...again.
-
Currently sitting in 8th in Al's 20 team Roto league. Valverde's my main guy for Saves and has been racking them up well, with my rotation of 5 SP's holding their own so far. C David Ross has been a hole of suck for me thus far, unfortunately, but my pitching and the rest of my offense has been bailing me out.
-
*gives up* The Indians/Mariners game(s) are delayed again!!! Christ... Just find a different ballpark to play in! Hell, go to Seattle or something, grr.
-
Disappointed in my offense's showing though I guess I should be proud since I was missing Ichiro for like half the week and still managed to stay within range in R and SB. Here's hoping the changes I've made with Trot and Blake now in the lineup can offer up more power and better OBP/SLG on the week. And can I please get a start out of Sabathia? Jeesh.
-
The D-Rays have a couple starters in Kazmir and Jamie Shields who are or should become pretty good. The big question is whether they can find depth in the rotation and get the bullpen figured out.
-
My offense is still barely trailing Kom even though Ichiro's been sitting almost nightly and my pitching may/may not catch up on WHIP and K despite C.C. Sabathia's having his start delayed like 2 times now.
