Grambling St. and Hampton are battling in OT on ESPN2 at 20-20 tie.

New England will likely trade him. I've heard rumblings that the Jets will give them the Redskins 2nd rounder and a "very good player" too. The rumored contracts are 6 years for $36 million from the Jets at least and the Patriots have already made a couple offers. Anybody who knows the Pats knows that they have a ballpark value that they stick with.

Spotlight performances from last night... QB Dan LeFevour (Central Michigan): 22/37 for 223 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. 14 carries for 71 yards and 2 TD. RB Alex Daniels (Minnesota): 25 carries for 155 yards and 3 TD. QB Bret Meyer (Iowa State): 17/24 for 238 yards and 2 TD. 18 carries for 68 yards and 3 TD. Furman vs. Jacksonville State Saturday on CSTU at 1:30 PM ET...just saying. Palmer picked for the 4th time. Jordan hasn't impressed at all

I'm watching the Northern Arizona/Zona game. It's actually quite entertaining although I'm rooting for the underdog in NAU to win so...I'm biased. It's on channel 649 for those who have DirecTV.

Hey, Triple K... For the cumulative league (non team), how do the picks work? Is it a week by week send in?

10 Team Public. 1 QB/2 RB/3 WR/1 TE/1 K/1 Team D requirements. Scoring = 1/50 passing, 6 pt TDs, -2 INT, 1/20 rush/receiving, -2 fumbles lost Roster QB: Michael Vick (7th), Aaron Brooks (10th) RB: LT (1st), Dom. Davis (4th), Wali Lundy (WW), Vernand Morency (WW) WR: Torry Holt (2nd), Anquan Boldin (3rd), Javon Walker (5th), Keenan McCardell (6th), Ernest Wilford (WW) TE: Ben Troupe (8th) K: M. Koenen (WW) DEF: Colts (9th), Dolphins (14th) Just accepted a trade of QB Trent Green, RB Kevin Jones, and WR Rod Smith for QB Aaron Brooks and WR Anquan Boldin. I'd drop Morency if the trade goes through. -
I only have ESPN Classic for the old college football games...nostalgia at seeing these NFL pros back in college.

Interesting things to look for, for those who follow I-AA football at all... RB Clifton Dawson (Harvard): Only 1,008 yards shy of breaking Ed Marinaro's Ivy League record of 4,715 yards rushing in a career. WR David Ball (New Hampshire): Needs 6 TD to break Jerry Rice's I-AA TD mark. He also needs 1,153 yards to break Rice's career record of 4,693 yards. Senior players to keep an eye on WR Tyrone Timmons (Mississippi Valley State): 6'3" and 210 lbs has the definite size. Is regarded as one of the top NFL prospects in the I-AA WR class. WR David Ball (New Hampshire): 6'3" and 185 lbs also has great size. Is the active I-AA WR leader in catches, yards, and TD. RB Arkee Whitlock (Southern Illinois): 5'9" and 200 lbs. Considered the most complete RB in I-AA. RB Alonzo Coleman (Hampton): 5'11" and 205 lbs. Has 3,606 yards and 50 TD in his career entering his Sr. season. Been a large reason why Hampton has gone 21-3 the past 2 seasons. QB Justin Rascati (James Madison): 6'2" and 220 lbs. Has 3,867 yards with 31 TD vs. 10 INT and has completed nearly 70% of his passes in 2 seasons. QB Colin Drafts (Charleston Southern): 6'3" and 200 lbs. Has 5,126 yards with 41 TD vs. 17 INT the last 2 seasons. Another solid year could make him a name to watch for on draft day.

Thanks. Any word on whether he is going to play or not? I've seen conflicting reports. My biggest question about a trade is what are the current values of some of the RBs now. At the time of the draft I had everything figured out, but with Parker being the goalline back, Dunn now the guy in Atlanta, and Dominic Davis possibly ending up on IR, what kind of guys should I target with one of my WRs? Or should I just see what people are offering and go from there? PS: I'm worried about Jackson's injury too. I'd see about targeting guys like Jamal Lewis, Mike Bell, Chester Taylor, Kevin Jones etc. You could try trading D-Jax for a solid RB2 guy like one of the aforementioned who may be easier to get. -
I'd be more scared that Palmer could be so deadly without CJ...now factor him in

Yeah, Rant... Took me a bit but I'm poking my head back in once in a while. Pinboy - The Titans signed Collins and apparently have been trying to trade Volek so that sign bodes well for VY as a starter next season. The big question is if he'll do anything early enough if Eli were to get injured. Love your RB and TE depth though Randy Moss could be risky (but at 3rd round, could be a big steal) if his health permits. CV - I'd see about trading a WR to get slightly better RB depth. Maybe it's just me, but Duckett has never impressed me enough to think he'll ever be more than a spot start 16-18 carry guy in the NFL. The Skins are high on Betts and Duckett could play a similar role there as he did in Atlanta. Rant - There are rumblings, and Kubiak stated, that Dom. Davis may not even make the final 53 man roster in Houston. I'd drop Mare and see if you can grab either Vernand Morency or Wali Lundy for some added depth. Kahran - I like your team a lot. You could put out feelers on D-Jax and see if you can get a RB in case Portis misses more than the first few weeks with his injury. -

Scoring systems + rounds would be very beneficial in terms of good pick vs. bad... -
Games I'm looking forward to catching... Boston College vs. Central Michigan: How do L.V. Whitworth and Andre Callendar do sharing carries? I'm also interesting to see how QB Matt Ryan does to replace Quinton Porter. Notre Dame vs. Georgia Tech: Brady Quinn as the "Heisman" showcase and Calvin Johnson looking to make more of a name on the national stage. Kentucky vs. Louisville: How do Michael Bush and Brian Brohm look?

I'm in as the obvious team name... I may show up a little late due to work study but I should be there, pending any unforseen school projects or such. -
I'd expect Seau to be more of a situational player leaning towards starter but would expect Colvin numbers as a top end (40-50 solos, 15-20 assists, 1-4 sacks.) I've also heard rumblings that the Patriots could utilize more of a 4-3 set, thus limiting the impact that Seau could have given how solid the D-Line is as well as how good Colvin and Vrabel are.

How did the Packers zone scheme look for the RBs?
-
Loving my team...although I should probably have taken the -2 for sacks into account when I grabbed Carr My RB and WR depth is insane and getting Jon Kitna in the 13th in a Martz offense...*shakes head at you all* My only weak spot is at the QB position but if Kitna can carry me for most of the season, I'm not that concerned. Kubiak should help Carr out in terms of lowering the sack numbers too...I hope. I like the Rams D to improve, esp. in regards to sacks. QB: Jon Kitna (200) RB: Brian Westbrook (8) RB: Warrick Dunn (40) WR: Chris Chambers (25) WR: Joe Horn (89) W/R: Isaac Bruce (136) TE: Kellen Winslow (185) K: Joe Nedney (217) DEF: St. Louis Rams (232) Bench QB: David Carr (168) RB: DeShaun Foster (57) RB: Mike Bell (121) WR: Ernest Wilford (104) WR: Laveraneus Coles (72) TE: Alex Smith (153)

*is going to dominate* Provided I don't get like pick #13...I feel bad for anybody with that late a pick having to wait like 25+ picks until they can go again.
