IMPORTANT I expect everybody to participate in this league. That means if a guy goes on a 15 or 60 day DL, I expect him to be put on the DL/Bench on your team rather than taking up a starting position. If you decide to basically not play from say June or July or any other time on then inform me so I can lock your team. If there's failure to do so then I'll choke you with piano wire. Remember, a vague disclaimer is nobodys friend. Now have fun this season

    M. Night Shyamalan

Twist(According to Dictionary.com): To alter or distort the intended meaning of. I'm still confused why people think the ending of Signs was a "twist"... The aliens arrived, were defeated(also insinuated at the end in terms of aliens being killed elsewhere in the world), and left. Granted M. had the preacher/faith deal going but that was a backstory/tie-in to the aliens. When he revives his son, he becomes faithful again. Where's the twist? The whole faith story was going on throughout the movie as was the arrival of the aliens. If you were disappointed with the ending then it was a sucky ending, not a twist. It tied into both stories that were going on in the movie at the time.

Right now, we have a minimum of 30 IP which places some emphasis on starting pitchers and guys who can go 6 IP or so. With 30 IP, you could conceivably have 5 starters all go 6 IP and reach the limit while also having the relievers go anywhere from 1-4 IP or more over the week. Not to mention that a team could conceivably have 6 SP as well (using a SP/RP). Anyways, as far as the statistics go, we have 6 hitting statistics (excluding H/AB since that's Yahoo mandated) vs. 5 pitching stats. There's only one difference and I don't think it provides a greater emphasis on hitting. Edited In: I cut out BA because that's technically included in OBP where a hit raises the OBP and an out lowers the OBP. So it should be 6 vs. 5 now.

Some Injury News... Credit Rotoworld Joe Borowski will miss at least 3-4 weeks with a hairline crack in his right wrist. Endy Chavez is expected to be out until Friday at the earliest because of his sore elbow. Scot Shields could return to the mound by the end of the week. Mariners pitching coach Bryan Price said he wants to see Joel Pineiro (shoulder) pitch four more times before he joins the rotation, putting him on pace to make his season debut on April 15-16. After taking live batting practice for the second straight day, Frank Thomas (ankle surgery) said he'd probably sit out the first month of the season before beginning a rehab assignment at Triple-A Charlotte.

The waiver time has been changed to a day because I'm impatient and can't wait 3 days.

Head 2 Head Fantasy Baseball 2005

We're keeping the waiver priorities the way they are now. A) We had a straight draft thus one could argue that 1 - 10 had an advantage over 11 - 18 for 14 rounds already. B) I'm the 18th waiver wire priority, if you're that worried about your player being taken then I suggest you get 2-3 backup options in mind. There's more than enough talent at positions so that you won't die if you miss out on the first player you wanted.

Okay, here's the situation. Currently, Flik will be inputting the rosters through Round 14 as the draft has been taking way too long lately and I've been making autopicks which really shouldn't be happening. The rosters will be cut down to 2 bench spots so Flik can fill out the rosters, then the other 2 bench spots will be re-added. Upon being re-added, the team owners (you all) can use the waiver wire to add the final two players that you want.
