Sending 1 player means that you got 1 pick. Basically, in order to acquire a pick, you needed to "donate" a player. So it's like trading a player for a pick.

As far as I can tell talking with Al, it's not based on only the top prospect. It's based on the letter grades and stats that their Top 15-20 have done I believe.

MR Leslie Nacar has been very solid in rookie ball however he's been there for 4 years(will be 21 years old this year). SP Noah Lowry was a top prospect as seen by his emergence with the Giants last year. SP/MR Merkin Valdez and SP Jesse Foppert are still solid prospects. 3B Nate Schierholtz is another prospect to keep an eye on.

Only Wade Townsend(who I believe is going back to college or re-entering next year's draft), Jered Weaver, and Stephen Drew have not signed from the 1st round picks.

My 2 spotlight games for tonight... Tennessee Tech(7-1 conference) vs Samford(6-2 conference). If Samford can win this game, they'll tie TT with a 7-2 conference record. Both teams defeated Eastern Kentucky who have a 14-6 overall record. TT is 12-7, Samford is 11-8. Gonzaga(5-2) vs St. Mary's(6-1) pits the two best teams in the WCC in terms of overall record. St. Mary's won their last matchup 89-81.
