Actually, it was 36.4% last year and 26% on his career

I live on as the updater of news, it seems. Cleveland Indians re-signed SP Jake Westbrook to a 2 year, $7.50 Million contract with a club option for 2007. Arizona Diamondbacks signed 1B Tony Clark to a 1 year, $750K contract. Tampa Bay Devil Rays signed OF Chris Singleton to an MLC and invited to ST. Chicago White Sox will sign 2B Tadahito Iguchi to a 2 year contract.

That and the Patriots have gone 28-4 over the past 2 regular seasons and 33-4 overall(including playoffs). That's absolutely, pure dominance in terms of winning. They've lost to Pittsburgh(annihilated 41-27 in re-match) and Miami(lost by 1 point and they beat them 24-10 earlier in the season) this year and Buffalo(annihilated them 31-0 in a re-match) and Washington(by only 3 points).

New England Patriots: PF in playoffs(Since 2002) 41 vs Pittsburgh 20 vs Indianapolis 32 vs Carolina(Super Bowl) 24 vs Indianapolis 17 vs Tennessee Philadelphia Eagles: PF in playoffs(Since 2002) 27 vs Atlanta(NFC Championship) 27 vs Minnesota 3 vs Carolina(NFC Championship) 20 vs Green Bay 10 vs Tampa Bay(NFC Championship) 20 vs Atlanta While neither team really "blows" teams out, I think the Patriots do enough to win while also having the type of team that can go in a shoot out. Philadelphia scored 30+ points 6 times during the regular season. New England scored 30+ points only 5 times this season but topped the 40 mark twice.
-
Yeah, I saw that as for the Patriots but if people were in such force for the Vick love, they probably would've acted like the Eagles would get blown out by that margin too rather than likely predicting close scores.
-
After a quick skim, if anything, I'd say people were predicting the Falcons would win more off the combined running of Vick, Dunn, and Duckett. I don't think anybody was saying that Vick would run all over the Eagles and that the Falcons would win 52-0. stop making dumb generalizations to try and enhance your point.

IMO, for the Eagles to win this game they not only have to create turnovers but they must capitalize on them. The Patriots very rarely turn the ball over and as a result, they can beat their opponents handily because they make 2-4 turnovers a game while giving up 0 or 1. vs Colts: 1 INT and 2 FR for the Patriots. Colts had 0 takeaways. vs Steelers: 3 INT and 1 FR for the Patriots. Steelers had 0 takeaways. This also shows in the Patriots' losses this season. 2 INT and 2 lost fumbles in their Week 8 matchup vs Pittsburgh and 4 INT off Brady by the Dolphins when they faced Miami.

"The Giants have won the pennant!" - after Bobby Thompson's HR.

and Dama, please stop thinking of yourself as some God when you say "They're my team and I can say whatever the fucking hell I want." That and you take every little thing so fucking seriously! You see a diss at you, guess what? Fucking ignore it! Just bloody ignore the damn thing and continue posting. You don't need to respond to every little thing that somebody says. Also the whole "I'm right, you're wrong" bit makes you really egotistical, even if you are right. Present the facts but you don't need to add "I'm right, you're wrong bitch" on as a rub in.

DT Ed Jasper has announced his retirement. Green Bay Packers are expected to announce former Miami interim HC Jim Bates as the new Defensive Coordinator. DB Coach Eric Mangini has been considered the favorite to take over the Defensive Coordinator position in New England.
-
I'll say New England: 35, Philadelphia 24. I'll give a more in-depth explanation later on.

I assume that the Aim chat will be tsmplayoffs as usual then?

So...what are YOU doing during the blizzard?

Pissed that I'll have to walk through this stuff to get to my classes tomorrow. Right now, listening to music and waiting for the NFL Playoff games. Watching The Gift on TNT to try and kill time. -
RB Travis Henry and RB/FB Rueben Droughns have both been granted permission to seek trades to other teams. Jacksonville Jaguars signed WR Chris Cole(potential kick return man) and re-signed S Nick Sorensen(Special Teams captain) to a multi-year contract. Oakland Raiders want to sign WR Jerry Porter before he hits the FA market. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=1971547 The Indianapolis Colts promoted QB Coach Jim Caldwell to Assistant Head Coach. WR Brandon Stokely finalized a 5 year contract with the Indianapolis Colts that they had agreed to in December. http://www.indystar.com/articles/4/211126-2714-196.html New Orleans Saints re-signed C/Long Snapper Kevin House to a 5 year contract.

Yeah, you can have the top 2 winners from each division make it. Maybe division winners get 5 home games vs 4 away games if it goes to the full 9.

Besides, Cooperstown already has bats, gloves, and a bloody sock.
-
Well, Womack had a career best .307/.349/.385 line last year. He also was above average in range despite 15 errors.
-
Yankees also have 2B Tony Womack, SS Felix Escalona, and 2B Robinson Cano. Would the current bench look like this? C John Flaherty 1B Tino Martinez 2B Robinson Cano 2B Rey Sanchez 2B Andy Phillips SS Felix Escalona CF Bubba Crosby

Teix can play the OF as he's played 32 games b/w RF & LF in the past 2 seasons.

Wow...Hollandsworth has only played 100 games 4 times in his career(1996, 1997, 2000, and 2002). If Dusty were smart, he should try giving more playing time to Dubois in hopes that Holly can stay healthy and play more games as a result rather than seeing him flameout in 70 games.

Credit Rotoworld... According to the New York Daily News, the Red Sox originally asked for top pitching prospect Yusmeiro Petit while discussing Doug Mientkiewicz with the Mets. Damnit Mets...give us Petit and continue to suck! You don't care about your minor league team anyhow. Yes, I really liked Petit, esp. after following him last year in the minors. The New York Yankees are close to signing 2B Rey Sanchez(.246/.281/.337 in 91 games with Tampa Bay) to a 1 year, 600K contract. Philadelphia Phillies claimed SP Edwin Moreno(6.01 ERA in 13 starts for AA Texas) off waivers. Anaheim Angels signed 1B Lou Merloni~!(.289/.343/.426 in 71 games with Cleveland) to an MLC and invited to ST. Pittsburgh Pirates signed MR Albie Lopez(12.71 ERA in 15 games with Kansas City in 2003) to an MLC and invited to ST. San Diego Padres signed SP Steve Sparks(6.04 ERA in 18 starts, 29 games with Arizona) to an MLC and invited to ST.

Well, the Pats scored 10 in the first half and 10 in the second half. I figure they'll do the same this game, maybe something like 10 in the 1st half and 14 in the second half. I think the Steelers will have to put up more of a fight this game since they likely won't have that easy 21-3 lead entering the 2nd quarter. They scored 31 of their 34 points in 2 quarters which shouldn't bode well if they start struggling to score in this game. Thanks Iggy -

McNabb's NFC Title game numbers 2001: 18-30 for 171 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, 26 yards rushing, 1 TD 2002: 26-49 for 243 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT, 17 yards rushing 2003: 10-22 for 100 yards, 0 TD, 3 INT, 10 yards rushing Duce Staley #'s in those same games 2001: 19 touches, 97 total yards, 1 TD(11 carries) 2002: 19 touches, 84 total yards, 1 TD(13 carries) 2003: 17 touches, 112 total yards, 0 TD(13 carries) Honestly, if they ran the ball more then they probably would've had a better chance though McNabb has put up poor performances despite a decent 2002. -
Texas Rangers signed Manager Buck Showalter to a 3 year contract extension and GM John Hart to a 2 year contract. Showalter has a club option for 2010. Cleveland Indians signed 3B/OF Casey Blake to a 2 year contract with a club option for 2007.

Encouraging news regarding Seymour among other notes... Credit Rotoworld - Richard Seymour "made progress" this week. He'll be a gametime decision. Coach Bill Belichick sounded hopeful, saying "Richard wouldn't start, but we'll see where he is... Maybe he could give us some situational plays during the game." Patrick Pass could also be out after missing practice Thursday.
