    Anyone up for Fantasy Football?

An idea on the rookie draft...thoughts, comments would be nice. Make it a 2 round draft, straight style. However, the order it would go would be most points scored to least points scored. So the team that scored the highest points would get first pick. This way, it gives owners a reason to vye for the most points honor rather than settling for just the victory. Also gives the high point winner a bonus for leading the league in that category.

Past NFL Drafts and Rookie Value in FF that season. The following total of players all made some contribution during their rookie season. 1999 - 10 players 2000 - 11 players 2001 - 14 players 2002 - 15 players Average: 13 contributing rookies per season. Keep in mind that my definition of a contributing rookie is fairly low, as some of these guys only averaged 30-40 yards a game however that still gives a team 3-4 points and could make them decent bye week pickups/spot starters.

Sorry DA, forgot to change my e-mail from my defunct one to the one I'm using for school. Thus that's why I never got it, but my e-mail's updated to my current one now.

3-6. Next year, starters will be 1-2-3-1-1-1. If you choose to keep less than 6, you must list who you want to put up for the Madness Round. So if you keep 3 players, you have to offer 3 players that you don't keep for the Madness round.

Whoops, edited him out. Also every team's owner is officially there and as far as I know it's correct. Let me know if anything else is wrong.

    Anyone up for Fantasy Football?

I was lucky to have several players blow up this week. Although next season, I think the playoffs should be Weeks 14-15 and Championship Week 16 so the teams have everybody playing rather than a guy having Favre who only plays a half.

Also if you don't think any rookies will have an impact by the time you pick, you can always trade your draft picks for proven players too. Draft picks become a fabulous trading chip by the time the draft rolls around and can net you a guy that you know can produce vs an unknown commodity. The following players have all seen playing time this season. Some have made immediate impacts while others have had off and on games. #1: RB Julius Jones(Has really come on since returning from injury) #2: RB Kevin Jones(Has been on fire lately) #3: RB Tatum Bell(Made an impact as of late) #4: WR Keary Colbert(Has had several big starts early in the season) #5: WR Michael Clayton(Mr. Consistency throughout the year) #6: QB Luke McCown(A few spot starts) #7: WR Larry Fitzgerald(Not as much points as some other players, but solid production) #8: QB Ben Roethlisberger(Very capable player since Maddox's injury) #9: WR Lee Evans(Starting to get more points as of late) #10: RB Steven Jackson(Has finally taken the starting role) #11: WR Rashaun Woods(A few spot starts) #12: TE Ben Troupe(Getting more playing time lately) #13: WR Darius Watts(A few games of action) #14: RB Greg Jones(Started this week in place of Taylor) #15: K Nate Kaeding(Been very good all season) #16: TE Chris Cooley(A surprise, productive for most of the season) #17: QB Matt Schaub(Started in place of Vick this week) #18: TE Tim Euhus(Has developed a decent rapport with Bledsoe earlier in the season) #19: RB Mewelde Moore(Was a capable starter due to injuries, very productive) #20: K Josh Scobee(Been a decent kicker for the Jaguars) #21: QB Craig Krenzel(Saw playing time before his injury) #22: WR Jamaar Taylor(Has seen some action, not much production) #23: WR Clarence Moore(Has been solid some weeks) #24: QB John Navarre(Started a game) #25: TE Jeff Dugan(Has seen time as of late) #26: WR Roy Williams(Has been comparable to Clayton in solid production)

Indeed... He has a career .302/.366/.523 line vs lefties in 354 career AB's. However his line vs righties is awful. .252/.323/.459 in 691 career AB's and he K's 4 times as much as he walks vs right handers compared to 3 times as much vs lefties which still isn't comforting.

    And So it Begins

The guy still had a 7-7 record with a 3.35 ERA last year in 15 starts. As long as he remains healthy and can even start 25 games or so, he should be an absolute steal at that price.
  25. HarleyQuinn

    And So it Begins

We've built a very solid rotation. Schilling Clement Wells Miller(Assuming healthy, he could be our #4 SP) Arroyo Wakefield(If Miller's healthy and Schill returns, could return to pen/spot start)
