*prays that Las Vegas will improve....by some ranking* Are the end of year stats somewhere Evo or did I miss 'em? Nevermind, found 'em. I'm hereby declaring my legacy in this league will simply revolve around my base stealing abilities! 621 career SB's and an INSANE career SB % of 81.4
-
I also did it and let's put it this way, the highest scoring WR from last year would've been Moss around 158 points IIRC. When the QB's would be doubling that point total that's just too much of a dominance.
-
I agree with DA or if you don't want to make it 1 point per 25 yards, at least make it 1 point per 20 yards. Comparisons of Positional Scoring 1 per 10 Top 5 QB Av. = 544 points Top 5 RB Av. = 309 points 1 per 20 Top 5 QB Av. = 351 points Top 5 RB Av. = 309 points 1 per 25 Top 5 QB Av. = 313 points Top 5 RB Av. = 309 points

I remember having a Brady/Green combo last year(seem to think it was this league, might not have been) which was pretty damn good but don't worry I'll obliterate you all despite last season's 8-8 effort. I have my own CHEAT SHEET~! so I'll pull an AlKeiper and kick all your asses in the upcoming season, whoo! At any rate, I figure I'll be nabbing either Ahman Green(doubtful since Flik looks to take him), Shaun Alexander(14, 16 and 14 Rushing TD's over the past 3 years) or Clinton Portis(Maybe DEUCE~! again, I had him last year I know for a fact). Can't remember my WR corps at all though
-
I wouldn't be wary of him either. I managed to nab him at the 7th pick after Clinton Portis, LaDainian Tomlinson, Priest Holes, Deuce McAllister, Shaun Alexander and Ahman Green went in the first 6 picks in my dynasty league and I have Lewis projected as the 6th best RB(Ahead of Alexander, Edge and Ricky Williams). There's a chance he gets convicted but I think there's a far greater chance that he could get off. If he falls to 8th or later and doesn't go to jail then it'll be an absolute steal. Here's my Dynasty Roster for those interested The League Site I'm the Boston Rattlesnakes Scoring = Traditional, 4 points for QB TD's and no points for ST(Special Teams) Starters = 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 Flex WR/RB/TE, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DT Drop = # of Rookie/FA picks you have(Ex: You have 5 picks, you drop 5 players, etc.) QB's = Daunte Culpepper and Josh McCown RB's = Jamal Lewis, Stephen Davis, Thomas Jones, Kevin Faulk and Justin Fargas WR's = Darrell Jackson, Joe Horn, Peerless Price, Ashley Lelie, Antonio Bryant(Picked up off FA for Quincy Carter), Travis Taylor, Deion Branch and Michael Jenkins TE's = Dallas Clark, Boo Williams and Desmond Clark K's = Adam Vinatieri and Olindo Mare DEF's = Minnesota Vikings and Washington Redskins

And you know Harley would do it in a heartbeat, sad to say

Yeah, I'm looking forward to Mr. Z's look at Discs 2, 3 and 4(I'm finishing up Disc 2 right now in terms of watching it. Currently on "I've Got Batman in my Basement)
-
Also Eddie George has a CAREER 3.7 YPC....which is awful!!
-
I'd definitely pre-rank if you won't be there for the live draft. Peyton behind guys like Santana Moss and Anquan Boldin is laughable at the very least.
-
Terrell Davis = 4.8 YPC while with Denver(4 full seasons) Olandis Gary = 4.2 YPC with Denver in 1999(12 games) Mike Anderson = 5.1 YPC with Denver in 2000 Clinton Portis = 5.5 YPC with Denver(2 seasons) Makes you wonder if it really is a product of the offensive line...
-
Trung Canidate still had 4.2 YPC last year(not great but not awful either) and considering the upgrade Portis is, I wouldn't be surprised to see him do a 4.6-4.8 YPC for the season.
-
I have Portis projected at 305 carries, 1548 yards rushing and 12 TD's while also having 42 catches for 370 yards and 2 TD's(Good for #5 among my RB's)

I wanted to propose another bench spot for Defense/ST's. I figure, if there will be 16 teams then each team can get 2 Def/ST's and the bench D can be used to cover the bye week for your weekly starter. Anybody agree? disagree?

Either fight or just shut up. If you aren't gonna use the advice given to you then stop your pitiful whining and go, fight the fucker and be a man about this if you can't bring yourself to pull the smart move of involving the police. My advice: Go in, fists balled and let his anger overcome him thus he makes mistakes and you capitalize. Do the whole jump in and pepper then back off, etc. if need be.

I was just thinking what about Christian Bale? Give him another 4-5 years and he could be a good name as well. His performance in American Psycho shows that he can bring the acting, now it's just a matter of getting the roles and I think Batman Begins will help a bit.

I don't think a QB should lose points for sacks as it's really hard to blame them when it's more the offensive line's fault. If a team has a horrible offensive line, why should the QB be penalized for getting sacked when he really has no control over it besides either A) Avoiding it ala Scramble which is rare unless your Michael Vick or B) Throwing a completion/incompletion prior to the sack. Draft sounds fine and I'm cool with whatever way you do it, makes no difference to me since I'll dominate you all anyway muwahahaha How many players would we be keeping year to year?
-
Toss me in, I'm currently in a Dynasty League(doing the draft right now on a MB). I'll be happy to partake in this too! Just joined your league Flik

Bumping this as the release date(From EB and Gamestop) has been changed from August 10th to JULY 20TH! and for $19.99, whoo!
-
Also extends to animated films ala Return of the Joker(Featured a few second extended scenes or showed more violence). I should try and track down that International Uncut of Leon sometime since I love the American "bastardized" version.

Now at 28 replies and still not red...that's the objective right? To see how close you can get to not making it a hot topic?

I'm still waiting for it from Amazon. I expect to get it Saturday or Sunday at the latest.

In Franchise Mode of Madden 2004 I'm playing in the Super Bowl with the New England Patriots(this was the 1st year). Anyways, I'm playing against the Vick led Falcons(who acquired Torry Holt by trading T.J. Duckett and Brian Finneran, don't ask why the Rams accepted but whatever) who managed to squeeze past the resurgent Dallas Cowboys in the NFC Championship. I'm playing on All Madden level and it's going back and forth through the whole game. It's now the 4th Quarter with 1:08 left and the score is 30-24 in my favor after I managed a FG. I managed to get the ball on downs and am just winding the clock down by running the ball so it's now down to 23 seconds left and I'm on their 43 yard line. I figure I'll run one last run and do a kneel(they had 1 TO left). I hand the ball off to Kevin Faulk who spurts around the off tackle and is gaining steam, I'm at the 10 yard line and screaming to score the TD. BAM! I get nailed and Faulk is clearly down but FUMBLE! Somehow, the SS picks it up, jukes the shit out of one offensive guy and knocks over a good 4 others before rumbling 90 yards for the game tying TD with 2 seconds left on the clock. I'm sitting there in shock, praying for a challenge from the booth which never comes and really pisses me off. Extra Point is good and the Falcons win 31-30 by a fumble return for a TD when Faulk's whole body was lying on the ground. Almost made me chuck my X-Box out the window, damn Madden and his cheap crap.

Yup, went looking to see if they had the Harley & Ivy #3(sold out but said they'd get re-stocked in 2 weeks...grrr). Picked up the 1st Teen Titans: Go issue(would've grabbed the Batman Adventures but being the idiot I am didn't realize you could take more then 1) and my father picked up an Archie and the Scrooge/Mickey one for my sister. Of course this didn't register with me(as in more then 1 free could be picked up) so meh.

Oldman looks pretty damn good as Gordon I must say.
