I was called in a couple years ago. For the original date, I made up an excuse where I was gonna be out of town, since I just didn't feel like doing it then. A couple months later I went in. I sat there for all of ten minutes before I was selected to be an alternate. After 1 or 2 of the first 12 left, the judge went over the trial for a bit, before we alternates were allowed to leave. So I was back home and asleep by noon.

DJ Jeff didn't even have that much, but I see your point. It just wouldn't be worth it in this case. There has to be a lot of activity at the opposing board for it to be the least bit fun. Besides which, invasions orchestrated from these boards were outlawed a while ago, if I recall.

Uhh, I don't know. There are three options, but it's not for me to decide, obviously. A) Triple Threat B) The two winners will face off later to determine the true #1 Contender. C) The winner of the first match will have his title shot first, while the winner of the second match will get his shot at a later date. Or, maybe if Clark does win the big belt, he'd be stripped of the Euro, leaving the the two contenders to fight over it.

That stuff on the Hobgoblin and Clone Saga is real interesting. It's almost enough to get me into comics again. Almost. As the writer of the article and some of you said, the Clone Saga is really definitive of how ass backwards Marvel was at the time. I remember thinking how promising the storyline sounded, only for it to descend into something as idiotic as Maximum Clonage. WWF's Invasion storyline, or even WCW's nWo storyline (where it got to the point of sticking around too long and being overexposed) is a perfect comparison. But in retrospect, the writers really did the best they could in covering their collective asses (and making the ideas of Scrier and Traveller more palatable).

Spotty is forgivable in a cage, and it worked well. Although I thought there was too much upper hand given to me at times, the story of the match worked well in helping to get both of our characters over. As for why I didn't show, I had a fever that didn't exactly put me in the writing mood.

Meh. TheGame or not, One Trick Pony, as we knew him on the board, was an idiot. It's no big loss.
