Well, it wasn't the big throwaway show I thought it'd be, thus making the main look even worse by comparison. But at least someone handed something in for it, so it wasn't a complete embarassment, right? ... RIGHT?

It would have been nice. But I eventually saw it as one of two things. 1) Metaphorical, when Dawn didn't end up being a potential... 'Buffy won't choose you' being 'the slayer powers aren't for you.' 2) Referring to when Buffy chose for Dawn to not be in the final battle, and tried to get her out of Sunnydale.

I'll be frank in saying that I highly dislike goofy gimmick matches. I realize it's only the bookers trying something new, but as I commented in chat some time ago, they discourage me to write even more than run of the mill singles matches and the like. But with that said, I did intend to write, whatever that means when it comes to me... and I did end up writing a bit. But I wasn't on the comp at all this past weekend, which is why I didn't end up actually turning anything in. It was a good show for the most part though.

I'm another who marked for Lindsey, and the episode as a whole. Him appearing in the bed with Eve really is one of the greatest swerves in Buffy or Angel history. It'll be interesting to see how much of what's happened in the past few years was his doing, or at least how much he takes credit for or if he's just a pawn himself.

Indy guys work Velocity and Heat all the time; Dragon has been on multiple times before. There's nothing weird about it. WWE apparently did show some interest during his last round of appearances previous to the Dragon/Walters v. Spanky/London match. The story came out that the WWE encouraged him to get a tan and haircut -- "Shave those sideburns, Mattingly!" -- and then there may be a spot. But who knows how much truth there was to that.

Really, I like to think you shouldn't be able to do much on offense outside of brawling. Maybe a submission here and there, but that's it. For lifting moves you wouldn't even be able to get the opponent up. And even for something as simple as a DDT, a wrestler who thinks it through would realise you risk damaging yourself, by maybe hitting your own head or jarring your body too much. But that said, DDTs these days are often a transition or desperation move, and you really do it out of instinct... so it's possible for someone who has an 'injured' neck, who is just trying to survive, to pull stuff like that out.

No, it's not. But I understand operators and users of sites and boards not wanting to post links, especially on a large board like TSM. Especially with people out there who like to take, but not contribute more or lend so much as a thanks; or those who take the links to individual files and hand them around, eventually leading to leeching.

Then as if the situation weren't bad enough, G4 decided to run the hype pieces and the show itself nonstop, until a month after the fact. Anyway, I wouldn't say I'm burnt out on award shows, since I never watch them as it is, and the concept of a show built around games is a fairly fresh concept. So I'll at least give the Spike VGAs a shot.

Kidman has one. It's on one of his calfs. It was better seen back when Kidman was in WCW, during his 'wifebeater and jean shorts' phase.

I beg to differ. Batista is monumentally worse than Orton, at least in the ring. Watching Batista over these past few weeks, he seems as sluggish as Triple H ever was, if not moreso. Not to mention that his flexibility, when doing something as simple as lifting an arm or leg, is looking very Scott Steiner-esque. I mean, at the very least, Orton has flashes of athleticism here and there. Assuming they go with this, Nash v. either Orton or Batista is guaranteed to be bad. But replace Orton with Batista in the Triple H match, and it goes from having the potential to be painfully average to being just painful to watch.

Seriously. It's clear now this feud was never about hate. It's always been about their unrequited man love, with violence the only way to reach out to each other.

To make the vid package a real winner, they must include footage of Kane and Shane's date.

If I don't receive UW's stats sometime soon, he will have a very rough go in this match.
