Ichigo was a legitimately great character once. That goes for him and Bleach before both turned into the next shounen cliche. There was some depth with his mother's death by Hollows, coping with Rukia's sacrifice, his new position and life and death. In Soul Society he continued to grow and some of the better comrades-in-arms relationships in anime were established, one thing Bleach still does well, at least. As he learned how to deal with the Arrancar and his own Vizard nature there was still a spark there. But somewhere along the way Kubo either wrote most of it off or just forgot about real character development, reducing Ichigo and a lot of others to mere power levels, along with ditching a lot of the basics that worked so well in those first 20-30 episodes. That Bleach also works well as straight action is something of a detriment to what was once something that felt new and was great, rather than just good, but because he refuses to pull the trigger on some serious repercussions makes it lacking. Part of the development issue is because of Kubo casting the spotlight on others like Grimmjow, which is somewhat understandable, but everything as a whole, along with Soul Society redux, builds up into a lack of focus and lost potential, and that's not even taking the anime into account. Anyway, I watch the filler, as I've said. I don't really care since there's still the manga to read. I don't even mind the severe cases of copypasta in regards to the characters. It just doesn't fit in fucking anywhere, which is my problem. If you're going to work under the auspices of weaving it in and making it work with the story to the point of introducing a new captain, even, then do it. It's been poor timing and planning and that they would inevitably reach this point should have been foreseen. Funny that one or two minor changes like taking Rukia and Ishida out would allow it to be slotted in somewhere. The Bount arc could be wedged in somewhere and the main story itself wouldn't skip a beat, at least. Like I've also said about shows that should go on hiatus and breaks or how there should be a movement toward that, I think Bleach is the prime example. I don't know if it's a bad thing, but at least with Naruto's current filler, it's not like they're desperately stalling for time, it's merely being used as elaboration and to flesh out a story.

I wish JBL would do something to get his tits under control. I'm all for Burchill/Kennedy. Shame his Curbstomp sucks.

I mentioned it a while back. I'm quite horrible at it.

New stats are finally up, Munich.

Amy Rose would probably be playable. Centurion from Altered Beast. Billy Hatcher. Sketch Turner. A couple House of the Dead mains, I guess. Virtua Fighter. Add in a few Skies of Arcadia characters. Gunstars Red and Blue. Toe Jam and Earl. Someone from SoR. Eternal Champions. Ryo Hazuki from Shenmue. Panzer Dragoon. I'm more naming other notable franchises that could be included in some form, really. It's not as easy as with Nintendo since Sega is basically an afterthought now. And despite having a Genesis during the 16 bit days, I was really a Nintendo guy, too. This would be better suited for someone like Andrew. They did kind of do this with the Fighters Megamix series, but as I believe, it sucked.

Hi. Worry not, we remembered. I actually came along a while after you left, though. IGN. They switched to a subscriber only service out of the blue in early '02 that left a lot of us in the lurch, so we migrated here soon after. Since then there have been two or three attempts to revive the IGNWF by some others over there which went nowhere and after a lot of turbulence and various upheaval, we've managed to stick around.

Coke + 20-25% Orange + Pibb/Pepper = OK Soda. Or a reasonable facsimile.

I can tell you that when Joe started whining about his contract and title shots and ruining Christmas is when I stopped watching. I believe they were trying for a Stone Cold thing, which was merely pathetic in comparison. He came off as nothing more than a whiner and sore loser destined for a heel turn, but they kept pushing him as a face and expected everyone to react positively to a poor imitation who didn't hit anywhere close to the archetype they were going for. It was poor booking and planning from the start. I didn't even know what Joe's beef was, really, or what he was rebelling against. What, a face office that gave him his opportunities, but because he was dumb enough to fall for Angle's schemes, decided to hold them hostage. So it didn't help the storyline in that Cornette's office is generally fair and Joe was kind of a dick about everything. I don't know who thought it was a good idea when they came up with it or supported such characterization, especially when no less than a year before Joe was at his best as a ruthless ass kicker, which despite anyone's physique, translates well no matter which side of the fence they're on. If they were really going for Stone Cold or a common man people can relate to, what better than a fat guy capable of brutally murdering people, which is what they should've stuck with.

Why did everyone hate him? Fuck Yeah Ini Kamoze. Epic Feud. Regulators. Cantaloop. I listened to a lot of rap radio in the early-mid 90s. Though... all of them qualify for that One Hit Wonders thread I thought we had and only 'Regulate' would be in for a Top Whatever 90s rap/hip hop list. Oh. I liked Skee Lo's 'Top of the Stairs'. That was a minor hit, wasn't it? But after that, done.

Plenty of Christians and other so-called religious folk do a fine enough job destroying the sanctity of marriage on their own, so I've never seen what allowing some homos to marry would do to destroy their world. Some gays marrying doesn't have anything to do with anyone's relationship with God, so what should they care? It doesn't have any personal effect unless them there fags are married by your church down the street or actual tolerance and acceptance by the Church suddenly sparks your son, daughter, brother, mother, or friend, etc., to out themselves. God forbid. As stated numerous times, too, cultures change, and there's plenty of stuff once tolerated or advocated by our Judeo-Christian fathers and ancestors that's now viewed at as abhorrent. Still, saying it's as the animals do doesn't have any real effect on those who don't believe we descended from more primitive forms or are subject to baser instincts. I'm not saying all Christians, etc., do, more those that have real power to dictate this. But why ARE we the ones voting on it anyway? I know I'm just an idiot, but maybe the state should pull out of this debate and leave it to individual churches to decide who they want to marry. I know, government issued marriage laws and licenses and all, so that's their stake, but those have always been bull. But then again, maybe we wouldn't actually be getting anywhere on this without their involvement. So couldn't it be marriage by court, always fine, since it's not technically a Christian marriage and wouldn't ruffle feathers, and marriage by a church, okay, if they're fine with it. -

Okay. True. Like you said, it was a benefit to the series that it was so short. I don't think it would have had the same impact if it was 24+ like the original FMP was. Even if that might have produced more closure, depending on what the next two books had in store. But the long delay between Second Raid and the next installment hasn't helped the wait any. Good choice. SZS was one of my recent favorites. Shaft may be my favorite studio as well.

Complaining about him jobbing to Matt Hardy or Edge is completely unjustified, but c'mon, it's the Miz. And the ideal scenario before Palumbo and Miz would've been grabbing the vacant belt and turning heel.

There really is no TV season in Japan or rather, it's nothing like our format. There's always something new airing every few months with no room for repeats as we're used to. So technically a season consists of three months or 13 or so episodes, which goes for both anime and live action shows. You know how there's often an OP/ED change, some big event, or recap to get everyone caught up, and always 13 episodes in? Because that's a season. It just so happens that some, more popular shows fall around 26 episodes or more. It's presumably easier in both countries to book steady schedules and pull advertisers with a few or some strong shows of length, rather than with a slew of 13 episode shows, although anime seems to be trending toward the latter. And there is nothing bad about TSR.

I see on Wikipedia that's exactly what they're planning. No Wasp as of yet. While I do think he's worthy of a film, I don't have a good feeling about it.
-
Technically Ant Man and Wasp, I'm sure. Well. Pym is a tad more important to the MU than Puck and is one of the founding members of the Avengers, so they're setting him up for that flick.

I wouldn't like to get my hands dirty. I'd have to use a gun. I would've said gentlemanly and deliberate, but many killers actually are. However, they're often raping or eating or mutilating or wearing the remains, which would be the difference. It seems the deliberate ones are exactly the type to maim. I'm not so sure I could have my fun or get a rush from it to the extent of those who indulge so much and are prone to that shit. It's why I'd be a decent hitman. Simply dumping a body would be the option. I live in the middle of a fairly large city, though, so any activities would likely take too much planning, sneaking around and such to get done, arousing too much suspicion. I can't drop it in a waterway, everything here is too shallow. My best option would be to drive into the mountains, dump the body and let the animals there take care of it, or head to the plains and drop the body off in a field on a side road, but taking those frequent trips would be suspicious. That's if I'm doing things alone and kill away from the dump site. It'd involve more planning and struggle, but I'd be inclined to drugging, bounding and whisking my kill away to the dump site first, rather than mess with a bleeding corpse. If I have resources and the friends to help, though, let them do the dirty work and cut the body. I've always assumed stripping the meat away and feeding it to animals would be best, while the bones could be disposed of through some other method, maybe a caustic chemical, again, assuming I have the access. I've heard cutting the body and dumping the remains, meat, bones and all, into a pig trough is a good method, but that could be urban legend/from a movie I can't place. I assume pigs aren't fit to digest all that either. Yes, it's too hard to kill someone, see it all the way through and actually get away with it here, much less make a career out of it. There's one option in a large city, actually, more people on the street that no one would notice or miss if they did go missing. There's still the problem of where to drop the body, and I don't believe the killers who target these people work within a large amount of time, preferring more to kill on the spot and leaving quickly. Yeah, pipes, hammers, and other blunt instruments always seemed like crime of passion/heat of the moment weapons. No serial killer actually chooses to use that stuff unless they're really, really angry and want to cause as much pain as possible to the type they have a grudge against. There's no way those killers last very long. I'm guessing messy types who are just mad and inclined to blunt objects always get busted less than a few kills in.

I'm anticipating this looking and playing no different than SvR, so hopefully they surprise me. Looking around some, a few people are really opposed to those currently active like Michaels or UT, but it should be fine if THQ incorporates their classic looks. I also hope it's Legends of Wrestlemania in name only and expanded to Legends in general, since I really want to see Bruiser Brody, Stan Hansen, and the like, or even Tazz, Sabu, Raven and Sandman. I'm actually more excited about this than SvR. Fan list from IGN to get the ball rolling. Ignore the misspellings and some of the exceedingly dumb ones like Orton, Cena, Batista, Mysterio, Edge, Big Show and the Hardys, or those that would likely never sign on, such as Savage, Taylor, Warrior and Dynamite Kid.

I'm mainly looking at how well Knightfall could work well in a different context with the necessary changes, woven into another story like that of Hush and taking Milky's term limit into account, it would make for a good, triumphant end for Nolan's Batman. It could work, although I'm also very biased in favor of Bane. Here's a list of everyone they could use. Could Deadshot work in the movies?
-
I have enough confidence in Nolan to not let things get out of hand, but four would be a good cut off for him and Bale. I'm somewhat hesitant, though, because I don't have enough confidence in DC for them to find someone competent again. Going along with Riddler and Hush, limit Riddler to the third, and let Hush take center stage in the fourth as the cap. I'm very tempted to suggest they plant the seeds for Knightfall in this third movie, so that Azrael and Bane figure into a fourth, since I think it could work with Hush involved and it would be a good workaround to the guest appearances in the original, but you don't want to cram in too much.
-
Hush and Riddler. How about that?

I wouldn't really care, personally. Regardless of Ledger, his supposed great performance and his death, Joker is Joker. He was around long before and will be around long after and nothing should take away from the option of using him. I'm optimistic that Ledger wouldn't want Nolan, etc., to change what was set here or planned for the future in regards to the Joker and I would hope others would see it the same way. I'm fairly sure they wouldn't have picked up with Joker right away, anyway, allowing time for separation. If there were any plans in the future, just give it some time for things to pass, pick a good actor later, maybe one close to Ledger, and play it with respect. My ideal ending before and after Ledger's demise would be to see Batman sparing him and Joker in Arkham, as it's only appropriate. If we never see him again, fine, we know where he is. If we do, we have our tease, making it somewhat easier to adjust to the possibility, and enough time for Ledger's death to pass somewhat.

No. Or not yet, anyway. Try Galbadia Hotel. There are also full uploads in the forums if something isn't on the site.
