5'6/5'7. Something like that.

For all of you who don't remember the screenname, this is Manson. My old computer finally kicked the bucket in early January and that's why I've been inactive, not that there's much of a difference. Anyway, there's no way in hell I'm reading through nearly two months worth of stuff and I'm surprised I'm even being booked still, so if someone could give me some quick updates so I can get up to speed it would be appreciated.

I don't get the Nuggets. I really don't.

I don't know about it being the last show before each PPV, but as long as nothing too weird is thrown my way, I'm fine with it.

Crono was awful, but he was such a pathetic sad sack that you couldn't help but like or at least have sympathy for the guy, even when you were picking on him or he would make a profoundly stupid comment. He was a lovable punching bag, the kind of personality every board needs and has been missing from here since he was banned, despite the repeated attempts to fill the void (wildpegasus, Matt Young), and his banning was quite short sighted in retrospect.

They're not comparably easier. P2P and Torrents have their own drawbacks. You're probably out of luck if you can't find the torrent you want on a tracker site, and they tend to be slower. But they're more stable and if you're lucky there can be a lot of sources, so you can generally leave them unattended. Torrents are generally better for TV shows and the like, while unless downloading an entire album, I prefer regular P2P for music. Torrents aren't media files. They just allow you to download the associated video, audio, etc. First you need a torrent client like Azureus, Shareaza, BitTornado, etc. There are a number of them listed in the Sharing Files thread. Next, find a tracker site, click on the torrent you want or download and open it. The program then opens automatically like any other and it begins downloading. eDonkey is just a P2P program with its own network, although it has torrent capabilities, I think. I've never actually bothered with it. Although the site is still up, the company supposedly buckled to RIAA pressure last year.

I would normally agree with you, but I think that Cena sold it pretty well and Edge got him better than he normally gets most anyone else. And the Spear didn't cause the change. The Elimination Chamber did.

Minor Weird Things Wrestlers Have Done
Golgo 13 replied to ChrisMWaters's topic in General Wrestling
A bit of wrist tape or elbow pads with your street clothes makes a hell of a lot more sense than someone wearing tights for everything. The tape can be reasoned as being prepared for anything, tights everywhere is excessive. Almost as dumb is the recent WWE trend of everyone fighting in suits. -
Maybe it was the nWo Sting.

I just hate getting up that early. I stuck with it for a couple weeks when it first premiered and that was it. I had to catch up through repeats on Cartoon Network.
-
I didn't get it with a CAW by doing what you did, only to get it later with the same CAW by doing the opposite while keeping everything else the same.

I've tried this and it doesnt work. I selected Kurt Angle and went through the season mode, only to come up ECW-less. Angle takes part in the other Road to Wrestlemania storyline, so how does that work? Was he replaced or something? There's no reason why you shouldn't have gotten it. Did you choose to accuse RVD when asked AND give Cena the win in the Special Ref Match?

Are you kidding me? Just drag and drop into your Recycle Bin.

I haven't seen much. Maybe ten or fifteen scattered episodes, but I like it. It's probably one of the better unlicensed series right now.

And here I've been wondering if a good version of Vampiro's Destroyer theme even existed. So long to the awful edit version I've held on to for years.

That was comet Hale-Bopp. It broke up as it approached Jupiter, causing multiple impacts. Wrong one. The Hale-Bopp is still around. The comet that collided with Jupiter was the Shoemaker-Levy9.

Yeah, I realized I was wrong earlier about Torrie's Contract wrestlers in the ECW storyline not long after I posted. Here are all the main storylines, of course you only get three of these per season, with the Legends Tour usually dependant on whether the chosen wrestler has a role in another storyline. RAW - Legends Tour - Uneasy Allies - A Very Special Story - Road to Wrestlemania SD - Legends Tour - Torrie's Contract - Urning Your Spot - Road to Wrestlemania As far as I can tell, A Very Special Story/Urning Your Spot don't have an effect on Road to Wrestlemania. The Champion outcome at the Rumble probably lies in your choices during Uneasy Allies/Torrie's Contract, for sure in the case of Torrie's Contract. To get Triple H as Champion, it's probably dependent on siding with Shelton. Likewise, to get Batista as Champ, go against Shelton. As previously mentioned, to get the SD ECW storyline, side with Cena. To get Cena as Champion, side with RVD. The difference between the two Legend storylines is a minor one, but I'm guessing it's dependant on which brand you choose. It could be completely random, but I haven't tested that.

ECW is an SD storyline. I got it with a CAW. During Torrie's Contract, side with Cena in both instances, then go through Urning Your Spot as usual (I chose to go against Eddie to be on the safe side and I beat Undertaker). I think generally you just can't use anyone in Torrie's Contract or the ECW storyline.

I think Bo and Jack Dupp were the two that were under developmental contracts. Stacy was involved with Jack and neither are under contracts anymore. Murdoch became a Dupp later as Stan Dupp in TNA and signed with WWE some time after that was over. Carter is in real estate now and wants zero to do with wrestling.

The cops and owners were in on it.

Whenver people refer to 2002, they're talking about the surreal nature of WWE at the time. Nothing from this year with the possible exception of the Mysterio/Guerrero angle, his death, and the Undertaker stuff was all that weird. In 2002 there was the nWo, its quick death and everything that happened in-between (Austin/Bubba/Bradshaw vs the nWo every week, Nash tearing every muscle in his body), Austin's walk outs and their effect on the company, the WWF becoming the WWE, the thoroughly mediocre main event scene, the Plane Ride from Hell, Katie Vick, Triple H driving forklifts, Big Show being the one of all people to finally beat Brock. There's probably more I'm blocking out and about the only good stuff that went on was the Smackdown Six.

Why does TNA think anyone gives a shit about Dave Hebner?
