By far Whiskers was the best of all these gimmicks, which isn't saying much.

He was dead years ago.

Yes! A majority of it was Blank's, but still.

Run DMC's Christmas in Hollis is so much better.

Mine, too. Has any writer ever tried to make him anything more than uncorruptible do-gooder? In any case, I like Cyclops, too. TONS of writers have made him more than an unccoruptable do-gooder. He housed the essence of Apocalypse once. He married Madalyn Pryor because she looked like JEan, had a child with her, then LEFT her to to back to Jean, not even bothering to tell Maddie (she found out by seeing them toggether on the news). Hell, Even Whedon has given him an edge in his X-books. IT's just the fact that the cartoon made him out to be an uncorruptible do-gooder, and a lot of the great comic witers did as well during hte boon years, that the lable just sticks wiht him. Also, for a bad-ass Cyclops, check out the Ultimate X-Men books. I haven't read comics in years, but didn't he start something up with Emma Frost after Jean died (again. or thought to have died, or something). He was also a bad guy in Age of Apocalypse, athough he eventually redeemed himself there. The point is he falls prey to his temptations, sometimes very selfishly and at the expense of his team, and it can be said that he's pretty impulsive when not sucking up to Professor X and isn't much of a leader off the field.

Juggernaut has a helmet here, but the costume still sucks plenty.

I like Teen Titans... A shame it's ending just as they begin exploring the extended Titans roster and introducing more unconventional villains. It's not a just world when Teen Titans ceases to be and The Batman and Krypto continue to exist. And nothing has happened to JLU yet. This is just a midseason break and it's expected back soon, as said. But I have a feeling its days are numbered anyway. When taking Justice League into account, this is its fifth season, although it probably stands a better chance of lasting beyond five seasons than any of the past animated series.

Apparently so now that I just did a search. And with Ryan Reynolds asked to play Wade. I want it now.

Am I the only one wanting a Thor movie? Not to mention Deadpool, but that's a long shot. And I'd rather save up Apocalypse, so I'd bring Sinister in just before him. Maybe make X4 a Cyclops vehicle. Reduce the roster a bit (Goodbye Storm) while bringing in Havok, and have Sinister as the main villain, who reveals his interest in the Summers bloodline and his manipulations in splitting Havok up from Cyclops. Sinister and his Marauders (some new secondary villains, some familiar ones from the first three films, MAYBE Gambit) are repelled. Then at the end, similar to his comics debut in the shadows, the last moments of the film introduces Apocalypse as one of the beaten informs him of Sinister's failure. In X5 Gambit turns on Sinister to fight with the X-Men, realizing the grim nature of Sinister's plans and the ridiculously evil ominous presence of Apocalypse as he debuts in full force. Sinister is killed by Apocalypse at some point in the film, revealing that Sinister undertook his studies in the Summers line as he thought they might be the ones to defeat Apocalypse, setting him up as the main baddie of X6. Maybe they then borrow from the cartoon, as Apocalypse plans to release some combination of the Legacy/Techno Organic virus in order to test the mutant race. Speaking of the Wolverine movie, in addition to wasting his origin and Sabretooth already, Omega Red is in X3. So unless things remain unresolved coming out of this one, he's out. There's only two options I can really see. Focusing on the stealth ninja martial arts stuff and his battles against groups like The Hand or HYDRA that was more prevalent in the Wolverine comic, which I doubt as it would probably be unpopular. Or bring in Omega Red and Sabretooth as the antagonists (retconning that Wolverine was unaware or forgetful of his connection to Sabretooth) and yes, Deadpool in a supporting role, and exploring the Weapon X ties between all of them and Wolverine's time as a mercenary. But of course Deadpool is wishful thinking.

As far as Gambit and Rogue are concerned, prior to Gambit's trial in the Savage Land for his role in the Mutant Massacre, she was depowered temporarily. It was insinuated that they fucked, and they kissed a few times before and after while Rogue was powered, one or two of which led to the Mutant Massacre revelation, I think. The big thing about Gambit's involvement in the Massacre wasn't just the killing of a bunch of lame rejects. Yes, if that's solely what it was it would have been disappointing to us and still horrendous in the X-Men's eyes, despite his being unaware of what would happen, but the Mutant Massacre was a defining moment in the lives of the X-Men and if it weren't for Gambit it wouldn't have happened. The X-Men were hurt and angry that he was around them all this time sitting on the knowledge of what he did. It was more a violation of the trust they had in him, as well as the major ramifications it had on the X-Men which was important: the helpless slaughter of probably hundreds of innocents which they were powerless to stop, the grave, life changing injuries to a number of X-Men, the subsequent roster shake up, and helping to give rise to Sinister and Apocalypse. In that respect it wasn't a bad revelation.

Aside from being too stiff, I liked Jamal. He and Rosey made a good team. Have Helms and Rosey in a few more matches, which Helms keeps winning. Meanwhile Helms starts taunting and getting in his head about being better off and how Rosey would be too. Rosey breaks down and calls Helms out, saying he has something to help him get his edge back, blah blah blah, three minutes, and out comes Jamal. They tease the beatdown, but Rosey concedes, and there's your new 3MW. Their personalities should be similar to how the heel Dudleys with 'Boss' Spike started out, with the annoying, undersized snot Helms picking fights and bullying others, then when he gets in trouble, the other two come in and back him up. Of course they'll never give these guys a real storyline like the above or any others, but whatever.

I wouldn't mind the rest of the theory posted. It could probably be dumbed down, after all, especially since we'd only be getting it in bits and pieces and not in a rush all at once, but I agree. As much as I love post-apocolyptic stuff, having them be the last survivors of the world would be a terrible way to end the show. It's depressing and I don't think the majority of the audience would accept it.

Jake is a semi-sentient manifestation of the absolute worst tendencies of every single wrestling community poster to ever exist from the day the internet was born to the day we all drown in a righteous sea of blogs and acronyms. We all created him.

I really like the 'stuck-up athlete turned up to eleven' idea along the lines of Owens or Tyson. Dress him up like he was when he first debuted on Heat. Give him his own Drew Rosenhaus, maybe a separate manager-promoter or valet to book his fights, a lower card wrestler or rookie willing to do his dirty work and follow him around. Maybe hire indy guys in every city they hit and have them just hanging around him in a posse.

I've never seen it, but I shall like to bang Kristen Bell furiously.
