I've finished giving a 1 rating to everyones blog.

I don't have a problem with people getting fired if they suck and are a waste of money. That's true for any job. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They still have to eat though. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's like that quote by Moss, or Owens, or someone like that, who said something similar during a contract spat. In all seriousness, is anyone supposed to feel sorry for these guys that they didn't budget their money wisely to the point that they couldn't afford basic necessities? I expect the lot of them to have opened up savings accounts or something like that, so that they could have money for a bit. Not to mention that WWE probably dangled a No-Compete in front of their faces, meaning that if they accept it, they get paid for a while yet to come while they line up other work. Speaking of work, if you were a decent name in WWE with some recognizability, while the work isn't guaranteed, you'll still be alright in the indys or Japan. Getting released by WWE isn't the end of the world, and this type of stuff is the nature of any type of business.

If WWE sticks to their word and finally brings back Noble (yeah, right) all releases up to this point are hereby absolved.

Then they better hope all this isn't to make room for a bit of indy raiding, like what they've been doing by going after Joe, Punk and Danielson.

Who cares about character. Hell Yokozuna got to the point he was staring at the camera giving promos when all he could say was bonzai. Undertaker is from death vally again, being the walking dead and all, when he was a tobacco chewing redneck from texas a while back. Aiko, or Jimmy is from Atlanta. he can speak english. Still, Yokozuna had years for that kind of development (though I wasn't watching at the time, so I'll go with it) and Taker's changes from dead guy to satanic leader to redneck biker back to dead guy were all awfully ridiculous things that succeeded against all odds and 'logic.' And I know all that about Yang, but for all we know the audience at large doesn't and were never given a reason to believe otherwise. In all, we'll just agree that I stuck my foot in my mouth with my statement. Anyway, onto other thoughts, the Dudleys release was a shock. Even if their contracts expire in no more than a couple months, at least they could've squeezed a feud out with MNM in that time, and they're still over and can sell merchandise. I'm gonna miss Haas, WWE dropped the ball on him when they split him up from Jackie, he was over before then with very minimal effort. But hopefully he (and maybe Jackie) will show up in TNA or ROH, and if he does, I think he'll be big.

Meh. He ain't that great. Rather average, I think, but he at least won't embarass himself. I think there are just better choices for this potential role out there through re-signing Stambolli (though he seems to be doing good for himself in Japan) and Tony Mamaluke.

This is great. Whether he's on Raw or SmackDown, WWE needs him badly. I wasn't even much of a fan until his character went nuts, throwing Gowan down the stairs, stealing Austin's ATV and all that, then when he left I realized how much he really brought to the table. He could even cut a decent crazy promo, I thought. Yeah, I agree, he'd be much more useful on SD and should wind up there, though he'll probably show up on Raw for the first few weeks of his return, at least.

Huh, so it's real. I thought it was nothing more than a series of stupid commercial bumps.

I've always liked Kidman, but once he appeared to put on 10-15 pounds, and dropped the shorts and wifebeater, he became just another wrestler with nothing to set him apart aside from the SSP. I always hoped he'd return to form, but injuries just killed him anytime he got some momentum, such as the abrupt ending to the otherwise enjoyable London/Kidman feud that should've made something of them both. Too bad, because I think WWE did legitimately like him, giving him a lot of chances to break through. Heel Spike was great, even after they botched his and the Dudley's characters once he started slapping around D-Von and Bubba. Unfortunately once they were taken off TV and he lost his title -- to Funaki, I think, which is just adding insult to injury -- there went his character. This was basically the only time I liked him outside of ECW. I think there was a lot of untapped potential in Akio. The movie star and martial artist monk was a great character, and he had unique moves that could've easily gotten him over, if only they would've given him a chance. After the series with London, he should've been in the thick of the title hunt. Unfortunately there was only so far you could take him, given that his character from the very start spoke no English. I basically care about no one else. Yeah, moving Chavo to Raw and not even getting Tajiri (who I think could be next on the chopping block) back for him, then releasing all these guys... they're not even trying anymore. Although they could easily bring up Punk, Kazarian and Cappotelli (finally) to fill the void.

Speaking of stuff and people like Jack Flash, what became of Cash and Cyclone?

Not just seasons, but rather, different series that had nothing to do with each other. As a means to tie everything together, that's where the whole protoculture plot point comes in. Yeah, Battle of the Planets and G-Force aren't nearly as bad as that, despite a lot of edits (BotP turned Keyop into a babbling idiot, had the more violent scenes removed and replaced with filler and Zark stuff, while G-Force left the deleted scenes intact, but as I understand it, the soundtrack was replaced by some really awful music). Although Eagle Riders was spliced together from two Gatchaman series, much the same way Robotech was... and by most accounts it was terrible.

I suppose the change makes sense after the attacks by the Mexicools, but it's still pretty ridiculous. Either way, he'll be fired or back to being Chavo within a year.

NASCAR also has an unfathomable following which WWE can't currently compete with and a long, mutually beneficial relationship with car and parts manufacturers. Compared to NASCAR, these companies have virtually nothing to gain in a relationship with WWE.

Basically. If WWE doesn't take themselves and their product seriously and continue to perpetuate the stereotype, then why should the advertisers flock to them?

Wrestling is super gay, And I like Kotz. I still don't get what he did as a mod or otherwise to make people dislike him so much.

No one is obligated to go over everything Roenick said, but one should at least mention whatever comment or question it was that set off Roenick, so as to establish some context and fairness (too much to ask of the media, I know). It takes, at most, one extra line to do so. The way the article is put together, you're under the impression that Roenick came out from the beginning with guns blazing, with no rhyme or reason. Still, he's definitely an ass. The question that was asked, which was finally covered on SportsCenter tonight, could've been handled much better.
