Lethal was the first and took the Black Machismo gimmick at the suggestion of Kevin Nash after a spot-on Savage impression when Nash was working with the X-Division a while back. Shark Boy was in almost immediate response to that and seemed to be dropped for a while before they brought the idea back. Williams was Maple Leaf Muscle for a bit and soon began feuding/tagging with Steiner before they moved into an official tag team and mentor/student relationship, which is when he adopted the look. Edit. I didn't know someone else had responded. However, the current state of the X-Division ticks me off, as well.

The goofy smile has its place. "All-American" has to do with collegiate sports. Yeah, the extra American tacked on makes it more ambiguous than that, like he should be an overbearingly patriotic nerd like Angle was when he started out. It very well can and likely will progress into what everyone is thinking at some point, but it can play just as well into some kind of 'kid from the heartland who is also a tremendous dick, but happens to be an All-American' gimmick. Mugging for the camera and pointing to his face and smile every time he can = heel. Swagger is entirely different from piracy. If I had my guess it's a pun based on the 'swagger jack' phrase which just so happens to be close to his real name and reeks of arrogance.

This is what happens when the Scotties, Stevies, Delaneys, and Shannons of the world get fired. I believe if they had anything for him that he wouldn't be doing this. If he were putting up a fight in ANY of his matches I would say that not all would be lost, but he's basically being squashed throughout, the match with Kendrick aside, and even then he didn't get much. With WWE's braintrust at the helm, wait too long to give him some credibility and he'll never be able to wash the stink off. And frankly, his talents deserve better than being this generation's Barry Horowitz. I'm not saying he has to be a main eventer, not by a long shot, since that's unrealistic, but surely there must be something that's better than what he's doing now and would give him the opportunity to show off what he can do.

There's a lot I don't like about this storyline and I'll admit I'm not a fan of a lot of these types of angles. I'm just not seeing how it helps Kaz in any way. First, let me say he isn't that bland, really. He can already talk, from what I've seen, but he needs an updated look, a compelling feud (in other words, not with the likes of Black Reign), a change back to his full name, some character tweaks and development, and that's it. I mean, there are a lot of dumb things about this. First, TNA has taken one of their more exciting, possibly underrated wrestlers and rising stars off TV and away from the spotlight and minds of the fans while in the midst of a push. They intend on sticking him under a mask and full body suit when he should be getting exposure and further establishing himself. That's damn stupid, in my mind. And now the set-up. Some character development as Kaz after the World X Cup would've been great. There are a lot of directions you could've gone, every one of them better than Suicide. I don't know, set him off on a mission of redemption. Hell, use it as an impetus for something more drastic, such as a shift in personality, or a heel turn. Again, as Kaz. By becoming depressed and morose, taking his ball and going home... basically quitting, honestly, makes him someone no one (or I, at the least) can get behind. To me it makes him unlikable and renders the World X Cup developments moot if he was just going to disappear right after. Third is Suicide himself. His origin and cryptic messages have nothing to do with the way Kaz left, his motivations or anything, and the supposed direction he's set to take doesn't make sense either. Ultra serious Suicide... with the comedy jobber stable, the whatever Brotherhood. I don't like it. There's the fact that they already did this. It's not exact, but still. It's similar to Curry Man's origin... and all taking place in less than a year, as well. And the damn game is already out. It doesn't do much good to do all this now. Two months ago you might've gotten something out of it. Now Suicide's only real use is to justify pulling Kazarian. I'm not with this. Period. It's just a total career derailer. Honestly, if I had to do Suicide, and as many wouldn't like it, I'd tap someone new to TNA or a wrestler who's already had their time with the company and could come back in a big storyline... and in turn, have it make more sense than using Kaz. If it doesn't work, fine, send him on his way and no one is the wiser. If it does, then there's an already made impact player who would have many directions to go in the company after he umasks. Furthermore...

Angle did away with Hebner, hit Christian with a chair and dumped him over the top, hit Joe with the chair and applied the Ankle Lock. That's when Jarrett came in, hit Angle with the guitar, and rolled in Hebner to give Joe the win. When was the last time a PPV world title match had a clean finish?

You can do that in Firefox too. There's no reason for me to switch until Chrome gets unencumbered extension functionality up and running and the background crap out. And whether in response or not, Private Browsing, speed increases, and functions to prevent full-on crashes, similar to Chrome, are either coming in 3.1 or other future iterations.

Hassan was far from an awful or terrible wrestler. He was thoroughly average, but not awful. He had some good moves in his repertoire that did the job and fit him well. The belly to back backbreaker and front facelock elbowdrop, which are quite unique as far as WWE is concerned, and while overused, a crisp Complete Shot as his finisher.

As a kid I arbitrarily switched from the Broncos to the Seahawks after some devastating season-ending loss. I switched right back the next season. I'm also drawn to the Cardinals for some reason. That's probably some parts regional, some parts pity. The Jordan-led Bulls were my second favorite team after the Nuggets... right up until the dismantling and every utterly unlikable iteration following that. Staying with Chicago, the Cubs were my adopted team until the Rockies began playing. It was an easy choice between owning some board game with their brand on it and all the Cubs games airing on WGN. I went through a lot of other historic teams, trying to find the right one, but the Cubs were my favorite. In hockey I was a fan of the Kings because of Gretzky and then began following the Avs once they came to town. So I'm basically the 'root for the local teams' type. And as a rule, no more than two-three teams and absolutely no one in the same division under any circumstances, so no 'doin it for the conference' nonsense.

I agree about more CAW slots. It's time. There should be more added on the PS3 and 360 since you could use the drive to store them. Though with a bigger roster and DLC creating WWE wrestlers shouldn't be much of a concern anymore. He means in Create-an-Entrance. Of course I always have a laundry list of hopes, concerns and criticisms. Here's to hoping the CAW is more freeform with more design/clothing options and that they add 'Flip' like I've been waiting for. Was the ladder match as ugly and broken last year? I hope they fix that. And that the strikes are 'tighter' and feel like they connect more. I could take or leave alternate attires on created wrestlers. It's nice, but not completely necessary. I'd rather more existing wrestlers have alternates and proper entrance attires.

How long until Colt gets endeavored? It's clear they don't think very highly or have any idea how to handle him. By all rights he should at least be in Ortiz's spot in ECW.

Yeah, it's not exact, but I'm a stickler for detail. Maybe it can work if they have a regular sunset flip motion in the mode.

The problem with that is Stephanie was 18 then. If Savage and Stephanie at 14 did happen, it would've been in 1990 and revealed much later. Not to mention Savage had a calm television departure from WWF and was allegedly negotiating with them before deciding to go back to WCW in 1997 and again after he left in 1999/2000. Savage being off his rocker, difficult to work with, and wanting too much money is probably the reason for his heat, not what's likely an urban legend.

Comics isn't exactly booming. There's no reason Literature couldn't work there. I'm leaning toward media, but like CWM said, there's no guarantee more than a few would share.

Way to ensure no one outside of OKC wears that crap. Even then I'm not so sure. This is all such a bad, inauspicious start to the team, not that they didn't already have everything working against them, except now they're begging that no one except those who directly benefit from the Thunder buy them as a real team, much less a D-League or WNBA one. Nearly anything else on the list would've helped fans warm up to them and instead they choose one of the worst. How anyone could think Thunder is better than Barons, Marshalls or even the Bison I'll never know. Whoever thought of and approved this whole color and name scheme is a moron. Rage.
