That's funny, at a glance when I saw the pics of Viscera on WWE.com, I thought that somehow WWE'd convinced Abby to come in and do something with them. All the guy needs are some curly toed boots and he'd be set.

I'm hoping there's an option to turn off and on the gimmicky controls. Though since it'll be graphically similar, I might just opt for the PS2 version (pending 480p/widescreen support of course). Either way the Sandman entrance - hell even his inclusion in the game - has me as a guaranteed buyer already.

We have something similar in a Death Pool at our workplace. Ie: how long it takes someone to get canned or quit. They draft rosters and throw in $20 each. I'm sure a shitton of people would get in hot water if they were found out.

I've seen a video of some Wii mechanics for this game.. where you get the opponent in the corner for a 10-punch and you have to do the motion with the remote. I love my Wii, but I'm not too sure how well it's controller gimmick will transfer to a wrestling game. Should be interesting, to say the least.

Nah, I think they're just drawing a loose connection in that. Ie: the song chosen, and the cover of the album, these might just be after the fact hints at what the monster could be. If not, then possibly just where they got the "project cloverfield" name from. For the most part the only thing that really interested me was where they mention that you can see something between the two girls faces on the site.. it does look like something, but it could also just be their hair..

I have to say that the explosion in the trailer might not be directly from this monster. Ie: it doesn't have to be breathing fire - this could just be an explosion that it causes. I'd say so. There's a lot of debate amongst HP-nerds that Shoggoth's are worse - think the alien in The Thing and you'll have a good idea - essentially a gigantic shapeshifer. If he's not the worst then he's certainly one of the most popular/standard references when it comes to Lovecraft. Cthulhu's just an old favourite of mine. Not to say he's not menacing at all... if I saw a giant monster with bat wings and an octopus for a head, I'd probably lose my mind.

I'm really hoping it's Cthulhu. Though I know I may be disappointed with that one because rarely does anyone ever venture to make a serious big budget Lovecraftian movie - mostly because it's tough to translate his stories to film.. but with something like this, it could definitely work. Either way the trailer's done it's job and has really gotten my attention/interest.

I'm just going to paste what I sent to NOA today. Just wanted to see if anyone else had this problem yet? I have no idea how to describe it otherwise. You really had to have experienced it to know what I'm talking about.

Interested in the level of actually watching the programming and possibly ordering PPVs? I doubt that will ever happen for me again. I haven't watched a full episode of anything since 2002, and the last PPV I saw was the first One Night Stand (before the ECW "brand" expansion). All of my knowledge re: WWE and what is current comes from online. They lost me for good. I was a die-hard fan of WWF/E since I can remember (born in 1977). Hell, I even taped every single Raw from September 1995 until August 2002. I still have the VHS tapes in one of my closets somewhere too, heh. But yeah, they lost me, and I don't think I'll ever come back. I'm interested on the same level as TNA.. I will read results or check out photos on their site.. but I doubt I'll ever spend time in front of a TV watching something of theirs again. =\

Season 1 DVD comes out next month. My tattooist was singing the praises of this show earlier today so I'm gonna check it out when the DVDs come out. This is pretty much how I got into BSG as well.
