Wow, that's more like it. Last nights episode was much better than anything I've seen so far since they've returned from the break. More like Season 1 = Good. My buddy puts it best: "This is the version of Lost that I like. Possible answers that might be a swerve created from paranoia and misdirection. None of this “boo hoo, the others are whiny emo kids with spinal cancer” crap."

This doesn't matter. The general media and public thing that TNA is just another brand of WWE.
-
Nah, it was alright. Not as good as Seven or Fight Club, but still good. It kinda felt like Fincher made a movie out of one of those A&E American Justice programs, which is fine with me as I've always thought that the Zodiac's story was one of the more interesting ones when it came to serial killers in the States.

Wow this show just gets better and better. How many episodes are left this season?
-
Which is exactly what they were going for.
-
Let's not all get into this one again, okay?
-
That was a plus. But you have to agree that there was nothing crucial in this episode aside from recruitng Russo in the last THREE MINUTES of the episode. The rest of the stuff with Hurley et al is nothing that hasn't already been developed. Aside from Sawyer possibly changing his ways (big surprise that they had him go back as soon as he got to camp, too - yeah right).
-
What Island developments are you talking about? They found a hippie-van. For the most part this episode just felt like filler and I'm really trying to figure out what they meant in the previews by "you won't know what everyone will be talking about in the morning." Talk about over-hype. ...and once again we have the ultra-useless new castmates. At least they weren't on-screen for long (really earning their main cast credits). What happened to Rose and Bernard? They may have been older and not as pretty to look at for the audience, but at least they were interesting and did things! Oh no, complaints~!

I think it's going to be Jody Foster. I'm only speculating, so this may or may not be a spoiler.
-
Alright, I must've missed it. I know who you guys mean when you say HRG, but what does it stand for?
-
Why Nathan? Why not someone higher up in the organization?
-
Glad to see Bellick's still got some things to do. T-Bag is awesome. He just keeps going, and going, and I just can't wait to see him take a bullet. Great character.

Good so far.

Impact Spoilers going into Destination X
dubq replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in TNA Wrestling
Seriously. The guys gimmick was that he was an undefeated monster heel in singles matches, not three on one beat downs when he's the face. -
What's the deal with that? Is this our new time/day for Heroes? Are the Black Donnelleys going to be a permanent fixture on Mondays?
-
So insulting the audience and degrading woman. I tell you, that Russo's a genius. He's only doing the work of the Lord, my friend.

Yeah those guys get 2 minutes a week to do some comedy. Senshi already has a defined character as the guy who loves kung-fu movies too much, Jay Lethal is the guy who can go toe-to-toe with champions....he almost beat Jarret ya know, Austin Star thinks he is Jesse Ventura/Savage/Adonis, Jerry Lynn has been carrying people in matches from day one, Sonjay is the bald playa from the telemarketing phone bank. All of the comedy shit they do is forgettable but the matches the highspots, the carnage, that they leave in the ring stays in the minds of the fans. Play up to their strengths damn it instead of wasting time on pop culture bullshit that does not help sell PPVs. I liked Nash's stuff better when it was just him with Alex Shelley and Johnny Devine. It's kind of just wierd comedy now. Comedy that's not even funny. That said, I still think Nash would make a great colour man on the mic.. or even a manager for a group of younger stars. I mean it's either that or having him wrestle. He's obviously not going anway any time soon.

Oh. Is that what you're doing right now? FYI, if you read what I posted. The guy I was talking to was NOT trying to shift the convo to the story of the show.. he was trying to shift it to how the writers don't owe the fans of the show shit and how we should just shut up and swallow whatever they decide to throw at us. Like I said, if you can't take the criticisms then piss right off. You don't see me calling out people who still extole the virtues of the show as morons. The lot of us are simply stating our distaste for what the shows become.. Again, can't handle it? There's the back button right there. Clearly there's at least an equal ratio of people who swallow the bullshit that the writers feed them to the people who are fed up with this show and the direction it's taking.
-
How about this: You fuck off and stop trying to derail this thread by bitching about people who are disappointed with the turn that this show has taken. A thread that's about the show. GOOD AND BAD ASPECTS. That includes praise and complaints. As for the writers owing anyone anything.. they owe the fans more than this shit, that's for sure. So stop acting like you're their fucking publicist and take a hike if you don't like the complaints.
-
Free speech. We've been watching since the beginning and reserve the right to bitch about the show as much as we want. If it's getting old for you, how about not reading the thread yourself?

Nah, Buddhists are fine with tattoos as far as I know. And even if they weren't into tattoos, the entire message of Buddhism is endless compassion regardless of the offense.
-
They didn't like his tattoos.

Ditto. I'm pretty much done with the show, but it's basically just background filler for me on Wednesday's becasuse I have nothing else to do. Maybe I should make Wednesday my new drinking night.

But they're star crossed lovers.. cuz he wants her and she secretly wants him.. and her name is JULIET.. get it? Oh the writers are so clever. This season is all about relationships and LOVE after all, in their own words.
