Anyone who's breaking their fucking TV while playing this thing is either a moron or has no concept of coordination. Or both.

Serotonin is also released when you take magic mushrooms and many other psychadellic drugs. I wonder if the group will start working their matches while high? Also - Serotonin sounds more like a finisher than a group name.

I thought Palumbo was back already? Also, a lot of them divide time with Japanese tours and indy bookings in the states and whatnot. I also think the fed that they're working for puts them up somewhere while they're on tour. You should read Steve Corino's livejournal. Aside from some really funny stories, it's got some great insight into what it's like to be a gaijin wrestler working in Japan. http://corino.livejournal.com/

Agreed. I have no problem with this move. As starvenger said, if it fucks the Liberals, shuts up the Bloc and their separatist voter-base (and again, who cares about the NDP?) then I'm all for it. It's nothing more than a gesture of good will, and people are acting like it's the end of the world.

I wonder if this controller will ever come to fruition:

Ahh it was an Oreo. I didn't have my glasses on and was wondering what the fuck that was, heh. The JLA episode sounds like it's going to be pretty rad. Spoilers say that ...and I marked out when Manhunter was shown blinking and then flying off! That totally saved an otherwise shite episode. I wonder what the big bad is for this season? Return of Brainiac? Zod? Maybe the White Martians, and that's the reason why J'onn J'onzz is there, to warn/save Earth? I just hope they don't balk and go with another Phantom Zone angle as to why Martian Manhunter is now there. I'm already sick of that plot device.

Preach on ATS! I totally agree with this statement. I loved the 16-bit era and still do to this day. Over half of my PS2 game collection are actually [insert Company or Game Franchise Here] Collection type games.

I've never understood how they arrange these interpromotional matches, especially among companies who have as much history as New Japan and All Japan....and that reminds me, what ever happened to Toshiaki Kawada post the Noah split? Competition in Japan is a lot different than it is in North America. Companies will compete, but they'll also help eachother out as well. This rings true outside of puro as well.

Look at this way, MNM are teaming together again for the ECW PPV, technically Mercury is a Smackdown wrestler, and since Mercury is technically still a Smackdown wrestler having his tag partner for Sunday teaming with him in a match on Smackdown...somewhat.....kinda sort of works...Its WWE logic, bear with me. It hasn't been said that Matt Hardy is a Raw wrestler, technically he's also a Smackdown wrestler, the reason why the Hardy's teamed together on ECW was because they were in the S.S. match and were "invited" by Heyman to wrestle on ECW since they're "Team Xtreme". And I guess the Hardy's were "Invited" again by Heyman to wrestle on ECW's ppv and since they threw out a open challange, Nitro and Mercury worked out their issues from the past and are teaming together for the ppv and since Mercury is still technically a Smackdown wrestler, having Nitro and Melina as guests on Smackdown and wrestling a match to help promote the two matches booked ECW PPV, works.. GODDAMN I HATE WWE LOGIC!! plus Melina and Batista are in the same locker room for a night. And no we can't end the brand extension because I can't put up with basically 3 nights of Raw booking. None of this matters given the fact that they've completely ignored the fact that MNM is only supposed to be teaming up for ONE NIGHT ONLY at the December to Dismember PPV. No tune up matches. None of that. One night only indicates that they shouldn't even be wrestling as a team beforehand. THAT is WWE logic.

Isn't the Landslide is pretty much the Ki Krusher 99?

I don't have one. I probably won't bother getting one until after X-Mas, or maybe even until they decide to release a black version.

Am I forgetting a connection as to why the Company would even care about Bellick?

What kind of mod does the system have performed on it? Are you willing to sell just the system, sans games?

X3 pretty much was their version of the Dark Phoenix Saga. If there's a Hellfire Club story, they'd probably have to tweak the story as having the HFC resurrect Dark Phoenix somehow, which would be pretty cool - but I am really sick of the mainstays from the first three movies. Let's move onto an Excalibur-type team pls.

Yessir. The Powerbombs were amazing in that game. Especially those given to the Stan Hansen and Terry Gordy clones. I especially loved that the grapple system was very in depth, and totally depended on timing rather than button mashing - completely different compared to what we were normally given in terms of American wrestling games. Good shit all around, and I still pop this game into my SNES every once in a while.

Wasn't the Sega Genesis version of Super Wrestlemania the only one where the characters actually had finishers (not to mention a different roster - IRS! PAPA SHANGO!)? The SNES one for some stupid reason only had like three or four moves.

I'm psyched to get a Wii, eventually. I just picked up a region 2 PS2, so I'm having lots of fun being occupied with Japanese game goodness. Either way, here's hoping there are consoles availble come Boxing Week.

I hated the original WrestleMania game for NES. What a pile of crap with its bouncy power ups across the top of the screen and no wrestling moves whatsoever. Tecmo World Wrestling and Pro Wrestling were always my faves. In the SNES days it was the WWE titles until I found out about Natsume Championship Wrestling - which was an American port of All Japan Pro Wrestling. Amazing game, really. That and SFPW Premium X of course.

I for one could not care less about anything else having to do with Magneto and his tiresome storyline.

KOC2 is on my list, for sure. I couldn't find a copy of it over in Tokyo, unfortunately, so it's gonna have to come in through ebay or something. I think the one thing about Returns that I miss from older FP games is the "Victory Road" type mode. Where you'd go through fighting in all the leagues, all the wrestlers, and unlocking other wrestlers in the process. They really really skimped on that sorta thing. Was hoping that I'd be able to unlock some of the wrestlers who are missing, but no dice. How was FP Z? Is it worth getting as well for the sheer sake of how cheap it is pricewise, or are there some other features in there that are missing from FP R?

I thought he was joking..

So, I caved and bought a Japanese PS2 while I was in Tokyo. A white slimline version. I figured it'd probably be the better route over fucking with my North American PS2 and possibly ruining it. Plus it was tax free and only cost 15,800 Yen. I also picked up a bunch of games, and FPR was one of them (Only 2800 Yen!). What a great continuation of the series! The match variations are great and I loved that they've really souped up on the graphics as well. Especially the entire zooming in on the characters when they're all on screen. Is anyone else still playing this?

Well, X4 doesn't deserve it's own thread yet, so I'm posting this here: http://enewsi.com/news.php?catid=190&itemid=10435
