Or it's because Randall is in his 20's, Rob is his 30's and continuously shows unprofessional behavior. The fact that he was so over in 2002 is probably the only reason he's still employed by WWE. Randall can speak on a live mic. Rob cannot. Randall has the best look in wrestling. Rob does not. Sweet holy Christ you're a twit.

Don't forget Brainiac's gay-black-robot sidekick.

Seriously, and he's probably in the best shape out of all the "old-ECW-guard" that was rehired and hasn't had to work a full match yet (that I know of).

I have faith that Raimi will do Venom justice by NOT making him a villian in the movie and just add the entire "Eddie Brock Hates Peter Parker" angle until we see a single shot of the symbiote merging with Brock to become Venom at the end of the flick. There's just way too much for Parker to deal with outside of Venom being a villian (this is another movie in and of itself) for him to even be a factor in this film. The only problem with this is that I think there may be severe backlash if the only glimpse of Venom is the endshot. The trailer gets folks jazzed to see Venom. Not really. Casual fans probably don't know much about the Venom storyline, and die-hard fans (I'd hope) would be smart enough to realize that Parker's already dealing with Goblin II, Sandman, and his own co-existence with the symbiote. Venom would, and should, come after that as a cliffhanger leading toward the next movie. The only people who will backlash against it are the supposed hardcore fans who can't even string together a coherent sentence without six hundred typos in the process because they're too busy foaming at the mouth - and those aren't the people that the movie needs to make money off of.

Any sequel with Mongul will guarantee my seeing it. That said, please, no Livewire. Christ I hate that character.

It's R'as. Not Ra. R'AS. He's not the freaking sun god from Stargate... Also, R'as Al Ghul = Immortal = Therefore Not Dead

So tell me about the IMAX 3-D experience. What parts were in 3-D? Were they any good? I'd have to think that the excellent opening credits sequence would be amazing in 3-D. I saw "regular" and 3-D. The 3-D was just really annoying and hard on my eyes. Plus, you have to keep taking off and putting on the glasses and it really takes away from the flow of the movie, IMO. Not to mention the 3-D was spotty. There's tons of it in the beginning (not the credits) but then there's a break of close to an hour with out 3-D, then suddenly it's back again.

Cemetery Man! Woo, can finally replace my worn out VHS version.

Seriously... someone actually bought this as being real? It's faker than hell. ..and honestly, if it wasn't fake.. then whoever was doing the mock up for Venom should be fired.

The term 'douchebag' comes to mind. EDIT: I stand corrected... I swear that Matt Young looks like the midget's kid from the tv show about the midget couple and there 3 kids who live on a farm. One of the kids is a midget as well as the parents. Uncanny!

Not to mention the fact that it's fan-made and uses music from the Superman Returns trailers...

R'as Al Ghul is immortal.

I completely forgot that this was on last night. Anyone know if there'll be a repeat?

I thought it was a great flick. Routh was great and at times I caught myself thinking it was Reeves up there. Eerie. Only two small things I wasn't so keen on were

I hope the same people that chanted you screwed matt and the same fans who boo john cena for his stale character and limited moveset take to booing every minute of ECW that is not up to par. I sympathise for the workers but this would be best for all. Let the fans take credit for killing wwecw ahead of schedule! That wouldn't matter. They'd still be turning a profit from these fans buying tickets. If anything, the best way to make an impact is to act as if it doesn't exist.

I think we can all agree that Tim Burton lost whatever it is he had (or borrowed from someone else) a long, long time ago.

3 points for the Louis Riel post. Never expected to see a statement made about Louis Riel. Ditto. Probably one of the most exciting figures in Canadian history. There's a comic-strip/graphic novel biography by Chester Brown that is a very great read.

Wow, reading this kind of shit about ECW really makes my head want to fucking explode.

I was going to say.. are these people drinking or colour blind? Yellow it ain't.

I've noticed. Many, many times. I still pine for the days of closed registration.

True enough. Topher is a little skinny to be Eddie Brock, but I don't mind.. as long as Venom is bulked up in the end. Anyway - pure speculation here as well - I think the end shot will be of Venom. Most of the movie will probably be Spidey dealing with the symbiote, the Goblin's return and Sandman (I'm guess there'll be a partnership there similar to Osborne & Doc Oc from the last movie) and that Eddie will just play the jealous-of-Peter storyline until the end of the flick where he ends up with the symbiote. All speculation aside, I am fucking psyched for this! I have to say that of all the next-gen superhero movies, the Spidey's have been the best.
