Woah, what a brutal idea for a game show. I'd have to say that's worse than anything that Video & Arcade Top 10 (YTV) ever did.

When I was a kid I was never sure what to make of the earlier Mega Man series boxart. They were never really representational of what the game looked like, at all, and were also pretty damn ugly. I think now I like them for the nostalgia factor, but that's about it.

Especially when those guys have receding hairlines.. HBK especially looks like an extreme doofus with long hair.

The GI Joe movie is already sub-titled the Rise of Cobra. Probably didn't want to bite on that. Besides, the Decepticons had their rise in the first movie. Same goes for Shia LeWhatever. I watched this trailer and honestly thought it was a clipjob from the first movie. *underwhelmed*

I'm interested to see how they set up Destro's mask. I wonder if it's in this movie or if it'll be in a sequel? I mean, you can't have Destro without a silver face!!! Oh, also, this movie needs Tomax & Xamot!

I eat as clean as I can, but I still include complex carbs as required. Doesn't necessarily have to be breads, but if it's what's available and what's convenient, then I think it's fine. Two normal sizes of wholegrain sandwich bread should only be about 120 calories, to begin with. If it's more than that then they're either too large or I'd question their ingredients. Don't listen to these fuckwits. I mean, it's good to think of how you're eating as a lifestyle change.. ie a permanent eating habit, not a diet in the popular sense of the word. But not allowing cheats here and there is ridiculous and is just counter productive to human nature, IMO.

Because when a wrestler hits the ropes, they launch the wrestler back. Sort of a poor example, I guess, but it helped illustrate the secondary point - you can explain it easily enough, but no-one ever really does. When a wrestler's thrown to the ropes, he either bounces back or grabs it, and whichever one he does is taken as the logical choice for him in that situation. In the situation I described, you can rationalise it afterwards, but in-story the explanation is "that's how it is". It's just pedantic crap that bugs me enough for me not to just take it like that, not really a writing failure that's worse than anything else going on. Like I said, it's more pedantic than anything else - like asking why winning a wrestling match makes up for someone trying to steal your son or trying to kill you or something. It's wrestling, that's how the story works. It just bugs me. Ever hit a pair of ropes that are elevator cable? You get launched back. That's why even when you see people grab the ropes, they still have a little whip to it. Besides if you want a more logical question, why doesn't the wrestler whose Irish whipping the other wrestler, Irish whip hard enough so the wrestler goes flying though the ropes? I think another reason could be that the guy being thrown into the ropes allows himself to bounce back instead of holding on and stopping each time is because he may have some sort of "rebound-offense" in mind. *shrug*

They're very poorly stocked. Stores only got an average of 4 of each one. I actually saw them today...as I was leaving the Best Buy. They weren't in the new releases or even in the wrestling section. Hell they weren't even near the wrestling section. They were on a end cap on another dvd section, not even in order. I didn't even see the dvds till I was leaving and the only reason I did was because I glanced to my left before I walked towards the doors. Best Buy at Bay & Dundas Toronto had quite a few of them, all in one column spanning about 5 rows in the new releases section. They actually had double the amount of Hogan/Backlund DVDs over all the others. I guess it's a bigger market in that area for Wrestling vids?
