For weight loss, yes. Careful if you're trying to put on muscle mass, though. Interval training worked best for me with that. Are you differentiating between good carbs (sweet potatoes) and bad carbs, though? Just curious as I had my trainer put together a food plan for me a while ago when I started to seriously work out and it sounds pretty much the same but with portions of good complex carbs in there. Eating clean is fucking tough, though. Especially if you work in an office.. it's all sandwiches and burgers around here. So I pretty much go with fruit smoothies plus protein if I don't bring my own lunch. Oh, mind if I see your food list dude?

Still playing Disgaea here, and still loving it. I also picked up Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for Gamecube (played on Wii in my case). I really enjoyed the Wii's Radiant Dawn from 2007 so I'd been casually looking for a copy of this so I could play the prequel. Found one on ebay for $25 CAD and just got it in the mail the other night.

So I've always been a huge mark for this type of RPG. My first experience with it was Romance of the Three Kingdoms on NES. Myself and two other friends would wage war on eachother, passing the controller around for each turn. Good times. Today, I've been immersing myself in Valkyria Chronicles for PS3. What an awesome game. I'd been eyeing it for sometime but only recently had the chance to pick up a copy. I love the real-time bit that they've included in this game where you actually zoom into the character you're moving and control them outright instead of just selecting move here, now shoot. Makes nailing headshots a lot more fun. I seriously hope that SEGA keeps up with this franchise or this genre, because I'd love to see more. Hell I'd love to see Koei adopt something similar for ROTK.. that is, more strategy, but with some real time action.. but not the crazyness of Dynasty Warriors. Anyone else into these games?

Well other than the fact it's up against Frank Langella as Nixon and Sean Penn as Harvey Milk, I don't think that appearing at WM is the killer of his chances. I think the fact that those two are portraying figures who the "Hollywood Elite" like to villify and glorify, respectively those are indeed the chance killer. This isn't like the situation from 2006 where Eddie Murphy was a lock for "Dreamgirls" and due to the release/negative buzz whathaveyou on "Norbit" tossed the Oscar into Alan Arkin's lap for "Little Miss Sunshine" (which was a good performance, but not as demanding as Eddie's). He was in a movie about wrestling and he's appearing at a wrestling event and he's Mickey Fucking Rourke, so many in Hollywood probably see it for what it is. Do I think that the situation cheapens the movie? No, I think it gives it some great exposure to a wider audience and will generate some better than average DVD sales, that said with both WWE's recent shift towards a younger demo and Vince's supposed hate of the film until the overall buzz got too large puts the WWE in a really bad position in marketing to a demographic that can't actually go see the movie and that they need to glom onto something when it becomes too large in order to generate ratings/buyrate. I honestly don't think it'll do much in the way of that. I mean, there was already a ton of buzz around it. It's now getting a wider release due to the GG win and the Oscar nom. I mean, there's not much more that cross-promoting with the WWE could do.

Personally, I'd prefer if this weren't happening. It does cheapen the point of the movie, IMO. I mean, here's Mickey all over the media saying what a reality this is, and wrestling has a seedy undebelly, and Aronofsky with his SAG union talk.. and then suddenly they're in bed with that same seedy underbelly just to make a quick buck.

I picked up the Legends collection and the three exclusives from Best Buy last night. So far so good. I hope they release more of these - I really liked the heatseekers panel with Bischoff and Foley, as well.

I think the idea is so that fans recognize them faster/easier and begin to associate their attire with the wrestler. Now, in this day and age, where everyone wears black trunks.. that reasoning doesn't really hold true.

That's not why he hated the movie. He hates anything that makes wrestling look negative. Oh yeah. Good point. I keep confusing the things that Vince gets pissed off about.. since there're so many. In this case I think I was thinking of his recent blow-up about Hogan's CCW.
