Maybe he uses too many throws or projectiles in Street Fighter II..
-
I think he's of Persian [read: Iranian] descent, actually... but either way, I hear what you're saying. He's automatically stereotyped into that background regardless..
-
LMAO - apparently Hassan is going to respond to the media via WWE.com: http://www.wwe.com/inside/news/mediahassan I love how the NYP calls it "terror-themed hijinks"

It's too bad, too, because the Haas Bros. were a fucking A-MAZING tag team, IMO.
-
That's exactly how I feel. =\

Playing devil's advocate........ Hardy said he would make WWE regret what they did to him. What did they do? They released him. Who else did they release? Shannon Moore, one of his good friends, and former partner on TV. Who could they get to help them? Well, all three Dudleyz were released. Spike gave a "srew the WWE" post online, D'Von said he likely won't ever change his mind about wanting to comment on how the WWE released him. Know who else is big, strong and got released by WWE? Matt Morgan. Hardy could contact them for help, but his main goal is to get at Edge. He just needs some help considering he isn't part of WWE. Again, just saying it is possible to be explained. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Any angle that results in Shannon Moore getting his job back needs to be flushed, asap.

I could also do without any of the "divas" as playable characters. Managers, fine. Taking up slots on the roster is a no-no, in my book.
-
He still reports back to WWE, though. That is what I'm saying. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If he doesn't have a contract, he doesn't report to them. End of story.

I haven't touched this game for close to six months. =\ [fucking flying school]

Don't forget: "I'M A BILLIONAIRE!"

They ARE working together. It's been rumored and reported numerous times.

So, how far back does this extend in terms of being a work? Obviously everything from last night was, but was his initial release a work? Was Edge fucking Lita and getting shit on by Johnny Ace a work? Or am I potentially giving the WEEWEE writers too much credit?

"People will see what happens this week (as the storyline) gets straightened out." $10 says they reveal white guys under the masks, as speculated before. [and not necessarily the same guys who were originally under the masks]

Yah, I picked up the first issue of Angel, not too shabby. Nothing about NFA yet, though.. Also, anyone who hasn't read it - should read FRAY by Whedon. It's basically a Slayer far far ahead in the future, but it does reference Buffy and Season 7's finale.
-
Definitely a work, IMO. And kudos to all involved for pulling it off. It's nice to be legit surprised once in a while.

a] you can't "aim" for body parts via top rope moves, and b] i like that it shifts your character to hit the move properly, wtf would be the point of doing, say, a legdrop across a guys ankle?
-
They both only received one nomination. I figured we should have at least one Japanese flick in there so flipped a coin. Wild Zero won.
-
I love how they even admit it and explain what happened in the special features of the DVD.
-
Don't laugh or you'll get slapped.
-
Mine... 1. Cemetery Man 2. NOTLD Original 3. Land of the Dead 4. Shaun of the Dead
-
Dude, seriously. Give it up. You're not going to convince anyone who LIKES Day that it's crap, so why are you even bothering?
-
That's Rickles' death scene. Kido means when Rhodes get shot by Bub and then torn in HALF by a horde of zombies. You see his internal organs, intestines, etc.. pretty much everything. There is a similar scene in Land of the Dead.

I'd also like to see the ability to interfere in ANY match you want instead of just ones that're part of your storyline. Alternatively, I'd also like to see the ability to call for interference in ANY of your matches if you have stablemates/tag team partners who are available. A drafting option would be cool as well. The ability to set the rosters, heel/face sides, etc before beginning a season a la HCTP as well [can't remember if that was in SD vs Raw or not..]

That's exactly what I am talking about, and they do that for most of the moves in the game and I hate it, because it takes the realism away. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's only done for about five or so moves in the game, and most of them are specific to a character. IIRC, Ric Flairs knee drop, Austin's forearm drop, Cena's 5KS, Jericho's Lionsault and the Rock's People's Elbow; and the Handspring as mentioned above. None of the top rope moves [ie: Five Star] are cut-scenes that move the wrestler to the centre of the ring like that, they're animations.
