Have to agree here. I enjoyed the remake much more than the original and I grew up on Romero zombie flicks. I'd have to say, for me, the top 5 goes: 1. Day of the Dead 2. Shaun of the Dead 3. Zombie [aka Zombi 2, Fulci] 4. Dawn of the Dead [remake] 5. Night of the Living Dead [original]

Awesome. Can't wait to see how this looks on the big screen.

I thought the Dawn remake was great. Not every zombie movie has to have an underlying social commentary, you know...

Ahh, the epitome of celebrity envy. I wonder if he watches "The Fabulous Life of...."

Whatever. If anything, that arguement is 'weak'. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Does anyone else see the irony here? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> *gasp* I typed argument too fast, made a typo, and HTQ doesn't approve. What ever will I do?

For Sandman it does. Anyone want to send the PPV to me? I never dled it, and pwtorrents is down. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are you kidding? You'd not support a product that you supposedly like, because Sandman doesn't have his overrated shitiest of shitty Metallica songs as an entrance theme? ...and yet, the same twits who don't buy the dvd because of this reasoning will also bitch when WWE thinks that ECW didn't sell because no one's interested. Seriously. It's called licensing and copyrights, look into it. You really expect WWE to shell out royalties to every crappy band that ECW pirated an entrance theme off of in the first place? Give me a break.

Does the music really matter? Are you actually watching it for entrances or matches?

Very cool, IMO. BUT - at the same time. People need to stop putting so much emphasis on "stopping death". It happens for a reason, folks. We're already over-populated enough as it is!

Harper's going a little overboard, I have to admit. I'm still waiting for the day when McKay can take his rightful spot as leader of the CPoC.

Man, that's so full of shit.

Hogan didn't complain the last time he wrestled Jericho. From what I heard, they actually enjoy working together.

Undead is pretty good, actually. I've had the DVD for about a year now and it's in my regular 'rotation' of zombie movies to show friends. The premise for the zombies is a pretty interesting one at that...

Off reading their L. Ron novels, er bibles, er something...

Vince's ladder-legdrop was amazing...

She also has a terribly ugly face.

He's also an 'expert' on psychology. No one else. Just him. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He didn't exactly say that though <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I don't know about you, but that's what I took from his, "I know the history of psychiatry. You don't," comment. Don't look for compliments here, either. I have NOTHING good to say about scientologists......... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oops, I forgot.

Also, from the LA Times:

Saw it. Didn't love it. But it was passable. I also agree that it felt like a lot was left out and a lot of stuff went unexplained. I'll see it one or two more times in the theatre, but that's about it. It definitely does not come close to topping Batman at all. I also think that if Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright got to be zombie extras, than Nick Frost should've been in there too! ;p

Even though the cast is ass, I'm going to see it at 8:15 PM EST this evening. Here's hoping it doesn't disappoint. Though, I have to say that I'm oddly not even close to being as hyped for this as I was for the Dawn of the Dead remake.. which is very wierd since I'm a Romero mark.
