Fuck, it's not worth having if REBECCA isn't in there. One of Hitchcock's finest films!

That's gay. I still remember in SD 2 you could have title changes in exhibition mode. That would be one of the few changes I thought they would fix for SD vs Raw. I guess they figure it will mess up the season mode storylines if the champions keep changing via exhibition mode.

Only created titles.

Calling NoCal Mike and other zombie fan hippies
dubq replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in Television & Film
I don't mind either, slow or fast, to be honest. I just wish someone would make a film with BOTH of them in it and explain it, as well. IE: "due to the stage of decay" or rigor-mortis or something like that. Either way.. -
Reviews are saying it's just a complete rehash of the last GBA game [i think it was Road to WM?] but with a few different characters.

Normally, when the slow moving zombies overwhem a "trained" person.. it's usually because the person is not paying proper attention, or he trips or has some other slip up - allowing them to get close enough to close in on him. You have that many people all over you and it's hard to lift your arms to shoot a gun. -
I think they got rid of the "trails" option setting.

So, this year, does the winner come out of the closet or something?

The unrated remake is awesome. I'd seen the theatrical version a few times, but just watched my unrated DVD last night. The extra scenes and character development are great. Glen actually has lines! -
What was so bad about HCTP's grappling system? I thought it seemed pretty straight forward.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a clothing shop? I've just finished the missions where you beat the crap out of crack dealers.. damn CJ needs tome new threads!

The Grudge: "Here it comes...get ready...almost...
dubq replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
The book that Dark Water is based on is a lot better - which is usually the case for movies based on books. It just seems like, with the movie, they tried too hard to make the water eerie. Didn't work out very well, IMO. I'm sure the remake will have to be severely tweaked for NA audiences. -
Ahh, didn't even put two and two together for that one. Holy left-field advertisiting, Batman.

I agree there, Dead or Alive is definitely not a horror flick. More action if anything. And Happiness of the Katakuris is fucking hilarious. I love how Miike can take on any genre of film and kick all kinds of ass. You seen Zebraman yet? COMEDY GOLD! -

I'd label Audition more as a suspense/thriller than a horror. -

Honestly, I love DawnOTD.. but Day is my favourite of the films. I'm not sure, but maybe it's the post-apocalyptic-stuck-in-an-underground-military-base feel to it, I just love that movie the most out of Romero's dead films. -

Yeah, there were quite a few ppl in the theatre who didn't get that portions of the movie were happening before the stuff they just saw. =\ -

Exactly. There were a few jumps here and there, but otherwise it was very mediocre. I seriously hope there's an unrated director's cut in the works. -

Saw the remake on Friday. Aside from having a theatre [Varsity in Toronto] full of idiots [and I do mean idiots] The Grudge was pretty meh... Though, what can you expect when they had to cut it down to meet the PG rating standards. Hopefully the DVD will be a full-on director's cut, because I'm sure that Shimizu hadn't meant it to end up like that! -
I don't know why people are shitting on THQ for crappy games. THQ is the publisher. Yuke's is the developer [ie: they make the games]. That, and the Smackdown series hasn't sucked in a while. The HCTP engine, IMO, kicks the over-rated AKI engine's ass... and this is coming from a self-professed No Mercy 64 fanboy, himself.

Seriously, the popup is there for what, 3 seconds or less?
