Just a demo? That's so lame.

On the DS, what a stupid place to put the power button. Right above the control pad? I can see slip-ups of the thumb causing you to shut down the system by accident.

Man, who gives wankers like this access to a computer?

Who says it had to have been a child? I have a great idea where Lita gives birth on RAW and it turns out, she's not having a kid, she's having a RUBBER HAND!! Oh.. wait.. Nevermind.

Downhome, rent it first. Don't listen to the 'reviewers'. The only gripe I've had with the game so far, is that it's a little tough to get used to using a second button to activate "strong" grapples/strikes. In other words, instead of just holding down a button to do a strong grapple/strike, you have to hold down L1 and then press the grapple/punch/kick button. It seems awkward at first, but I've gotten used to it after just an hour of playing. The story mode, so far, is really fun. The crowd and interactive environments are awesome. There's something so satisfying about shoving your opponent into the crowd, have some random guy grab him, and then when you do a grapple you both hit him with a Total Elimination! Fucking AWESOME! The customization of the CAF is great too. Sure it's not Smackdown, but fuck it's pretty damn good for what it is. Tons of hairstyles, clothes, accessories. You also get a bunch of voice types to choose from for your character to use during cut-scenes and taunt animations. There's so much more to this game, but I only got a chance to play it for a few hours last night before I had to crash. But I will say one other massive positive to this: YOU GET TO KICK SEAN PAUL'S ASS!!

Nope, it happens on my DVD as well. =\ I first saw this movie when I was a little kid, and for years afterward I had ridiculous fears about being buried alive when I died, lol. I don't know if there's any truth to the story about stuff being spilled on the film, but I've read in several places that Fulci's 'Beyond' is considered to be the sequel to CotLD/GoH. One of which is here: http://www.houseofhorrors.com/eurohorror3.htm

...and it is! Better than Ringu, IMO. Though, Ju-on 2 is really good as well. I was able to get bootlegged copies of both, in Toronto's Chinatown, for about $5 each a few months ago. I heard that the original Ju-on was being released into North American theatres, soon. Is this still happening? I'd love to see it on the big screen.

Rodney Dangerfield has been in a coma for weeks.

...aaaand Gamespot confirms the new PS2. http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/09/21/news_6107997.html $149? Not too shabby. I might trade in my "regular" PS2 for one of these.. mainly for the built-in networking abilities and the fact that it's so small. I have too much electronical junk in my entertainment unit as it is right now. Gonna wait to see if there are any hardware problems with it first, though.

Just bumping the topic since I bought the game today. Some cool shit from the instruction manual, re: match types: Window match: the goal is to throw your opponent out of Crow's [snoop] office window. Subway match: the goal is to throw your opponent in front of an oncoming subway train. Demolition match: the goal is to destroy your opponent's SUV.. apparently you can also use smash your opponent through the vehicle's windows, etc. Inferno match: "light your opponent up in a ring of fire." Cage match: last man standing wins! Ring out match: The point is to toss your opponent out of the ring. Sounds like a variation on sumo-style, or something. There're also the usual one-on-one, tag and four-corners matches that were in the first game. Damn. I'm itching to play this. Gotta work the rest of the day and then go to class!

I think you mentioned once that you had a flip-top case.. If so, where'd you get it from?

Latino or not - don't much care about that - she's too young for the part, IMO. Either way it still looks pretty fucking cool, especially The Thing.

I take it this version will also support Progressive Scan? At least, I hope it would. The built in ethernet port is fucking awesome, that's for sure.

I don't get TNA up here, but I was just curious: are the wrestlers who make up Team Canada, actually Canadian? Or is it a WCW Team Canada thing, where only one is and the rest are either billed as from Canada or are the usual "defectors"?

Ahh, that sucks dude. Seriously. I never thought there was such a big deal behind being an extra.. I've been pulled off the street to be an extra before and they didn't ask for any info as to where I was from, etc. I guess because they have to spend money on the makeup and effects for these extras that they go the extra mile when following the rules. Lame!

Good lord. http://www.boll-kg.de/mov/AitD_Promo_4_352x158.mov It looks terrible. They should've renamed it - House of the Dead 2.
-
I'm surprised at how easy it is. I haven't died once.

I hope you're not easily disturbed.. The rape scene is brutal..

YES!! Just got my Region 2 copy! It's gonna be sweet zombie goodness tonight, baby!

Not sure which cut it was, but no one under 18 was allowed in the theatre if that's worth anything.

I had to pause this movie halfway through and that a break.. a] for what happens to Alex, it's just brutally intense, and b] because that camera effect was making me sea sick!!
