Dude, the best part is... ..like he's bringing down the Yakuza or something...
-
i.e. movies with rappers and singers trying to be action heroes, horrible soundtracks and final battles taking place in a ring of fire? Well those were his attempts to get into mainstream American cinema. Most of his stuff from the East is actually pretty good.
-
I'm not saying that. I've already heard people [generally misinformed movie-goers] thinking that he "made" this movie, so I'm just expecting people to give him more credit than he's due.
-
I'd have to disagree. His dialogue is unmatched. He caters to a specific audience and he does it well. A specific audience who likes to see the same crap rehashed over and over again.

Was Friday, today [saturday] and is on again tomorrow [sunday]. I went today and got George Romero & Tom Savini to sign my old school Dawn of the Dead poster. Any one else go, or plan on going tomorrow?

One word for Kevin Smith comes to mind whenever I think of him or his films: OVERRATED.
-
I bought the import months ago. Good flick. Waiting for all the wankers to praise Tarantino for "bringing" this flick to the US. Whatever.
-
I remember him saying that J&SB Strike Back would be the last movie featuring those two characters, regardless of Mews' habits, since he said that beforehand.
-
So, I guess all that shit about never making another movie with Jay & Silent Bob in it was all total crap. Big surprise from Kevin Smith.
-
Sky Sports 1 kind of gives that away dude..

Finkel has an on-air job on Raw?

I agree with 2GOLD. Fuck the N and their worthless product line. I also hope that none of you stupid twits complaining about this "massive illegal video game distributor" even has an "illegal" mp3 on your computer, or a ROM, or any sort of pirated software... because, yeah, that would just be hilarious.

Finally...as in last year. They had the same thing in HCTP..with Rey Mysterio..and I think Brock Lesnar>? Uh, I don't recall...
-
Cool shit from CAW: Height comparisons! Finally! Awesome! The ability to take your CAW's pic for the selection screen! No more generic "blue men" or "pink women"!!

Classic IC, without a doubt, is 1000 times better than the hunk of shit they have right now..

How does crap like this get pinned?
-
It won't last much longer. I sent an e-mail to the anti-piracy division at Nintendo.com today. Keep telling yourself that, dude. These types of things have been around for years and always will be.

I think that turned out to be a "new WrestleMania logo" actually..

Not entirely true. After all, it's not an Alien movie without having one burst out of a human's chest. Aside from that though... yeah. If it ain't Ripley, there's no real point having other humans that are integral to the story. I'm having a hard time remembering if one came out of someone in Alien Resurection...I know that guy that always plays spazoids in every movie he's in had one inside him, but I can't remember if it actually came out before he was killed... Yup, it did... Remember, he holds the doctor's head in front of his chest, and the chestbuster bursts through and kills them both.. only to be shot to pieces by the heroes.. I just watched Resurrection for the first time two nights ago.. and I really have to question what the fuck Joss Whedon was on when he wrote that piece of shit.

Ditto. Right now, and probably until RE4 is released, my Cube is just gathering dust.
-
Shit, there go my DiBiase dreams. I would've loved to have taken DiBiase & Andre to a tag team title run. I hope, at least, that Foley & Rock have some alternate attires to use.

Hundreds? Hardly. Maybe in the flashback, but otherwise no..

He was a fairly big part of mid-to-late-80's "gimmicky" WWF, and even a bit of the early 90's. He's a legend in their eyes. What? You were expecting Buddy Rogers and Lou Thesz? Sure, why not? They're both TRUE legends of the sport. The only legendary thing Beefcake has ever done was become real life friends with Hogan, who, in turn, got him jobs when Beefcake had zero ability and talent. You're missing the point, though. Rogers & Thesz may be the true legends - but how many casual fans do you think have even ever heard of them? Beefcake harkens back to the 80's WWF boom and is associated more with "sports entertainment" than Thesz or Rogers are.. Yeah, I know what you mean. Well, I guess it doesn't matter; when I get this game I'll never use Beefcake anyway. I hope you don't think I'm defending his inclusion, because I'm definitely not. I'd rather see some old-school NWA/WCW guys make it in there. Beefcake's becoming my official job-boy, that's for sure.
