Well, hopefully it's a mistake where they said that you can only use created wrestlers in create-a-ppv [in the above scan]. Because if that's true, there's one feature I won't be bothering with.

Yes, it's an attempt to get the fans of the game's attention. It's an attempt to piss them off. A lot of people who were hardcore fans of the game series called the first movie utter crap. So, Sony/Screen Gems is trying to piss them off now. It would be like making a movie out of Final Fantasy III/VI, and having Terra die five minutes into the film. It's my opinion that if you're going to do something, you should do it right. Also, "poetic license" is no excuse for fucking with someone else's work. It's just rude. Please. I'm a hardcore fan of this series, have been since it first came out, and even I know there's a difference between the games and the movies. I could care less if Leon is dead in the movies. You're just searching for reasons to gripe. And as for the "fucking with someone else's work" point, well, Capcom sold the rights for the movies, so I really have to wonder if they care that much anyways.

I remember seeing one guy selling a haunted Hebrew jewellery box or something. It was supposed to have contained some sort of ghost or demon that made your house smell like cat piss and caused general mischief. The story went that the original owner had ebayed it, then the person who bought it turned around to ebay it because of it's effects, and so-on and so-on. Wish I could find it again because it was an interesting read even if it was bullshit.

Ehhhh...... a decade is a little soon for something like this. I see several problems with this: 1. This sounds way too expensive to be something everyone can afford. 2. I can't possibly seeing the studios agreeing to work with each other and share profits so that probably means you have to subscribe to each individual studio's library. 3. Broadband. Something of this sort will probably require a lot of bandwidth so it'll probably need the next advancement in net speed to be viable. So how many homes would have such a set up? 4. Memory. This is going to need a ton of memory for someone to be able to hold all the information for these movies. While compression will be better I'm expecting a cabinet sized hard drive to hold the amount of movies I would want in my library. So this sounds like laserdisk all over again. Too expensive and too big. I imagine what he's thinking of will be a failure but will lead to the next medium like laserdisk leading to the DVD. It's either that or he wants a television implant that can project holograpic TV shows out of ones ass.
