I tried out Network play last night, pretty cool. I was Kevin and only had one partner 'Alyssa' - we ran out of ammo pretty fast outside of J's Bar and soon became zombies. For about five minutes we were both trying to kill an NPC RPD officer... but after a while the game just ended and went back to the selection screen. It was a pretty cool first online console gaming experience for me, so I'm going to be picking up my own network adapter soon [i'm using a friends right now]. My username is 'vivisect6' if anyone ever wants to kill some zombies with me.

They weren't that hard to learn, just more or less annoying, but onec you got the hang of it - it was alright. Nothing to write home about though.

I heard they went out of business for a time..

April Fools was yesterday, silly. I'm serious dude, it was WAY improved on from the SYM engine. I mean, any game that gives me 16 standing front grapples and an easy method to pulling them off is a-okay in my books. The only difference was that with AKI's engine you had to hold down the grapple button to get a stronger attack..

Go for it dude. I haven't been disappointed with anything I've come across so far. The NPC's are even less stupid then I thought they'd be. They actually make an attempt to save you when you're getting attacked, or if you're hanging off a ledge they'll pull you up if you calll them over, or crawling on the floor and they'll help you up and support you until you've healed a bit. Very cool touches. I've also unlocked the second scenario.

Honestly, I liked the HCTP engine way better than AKI's.

God, I still don't know who half of these characters are...

KANE - I have to say, it's fucking great. I've only played single player so far - I don't have a network adapter for my PS2, but I am going to borrow a friends soon before I go buy my own, just to see - but single player is pretty damn good. The zombies.. just.. keep.. coming.. and coming! It's awesome! I could sit here all day and plow down the undead if I had infinite ammo. They've also added some cool secondary attacks. The cop can do this shoulder block thing as well as a front kick. Very usefull for knocking zombies away. You can also pick up pipes and brooms and other shit to use as weapons. Also, there was something strangely satisfying about hiding in a locker and watching my "partners" get eaten alive... okay, so I'm a little sadistic when it comes to these games, so what?! I'd say that this one is a definite purchase for any RE fan..

Well, the game is supposed to be more of a "Street fighting" themed game.. if it's done properly, I can do without the ring.

Okay, odd.. it's been well over 24 hours since I installed the demo... yet it still works. o_O

A guy I used to run eFeds with back in the day, but he does game reviews for 411mania now. He's actually in EWR 4 as a staff writer you can hire. Ah, ok. Was wondering about that. Anyways, I'm not disappointed with the game's stuff, because there IS stuff there, that if completed would be great. Key word: Completed. I agree with that assessment 100%, Flik..

A little is more than enough.. -
Hell, even Alex Lucard from 411 isn't very impressed with it. I think I'll stick with EWR 4 for the time being..

KANE, it's out. I just bought a copy for 59 bux Canadian at EB Games. So it should be pretty widespread by now...

Dunno, but a CAF would kick ass. Knowing AKI, there'll be tons of moves to choose from.

I'm gonna go do a run of the local stores here in Toronto this afternoon, KANE, so I'll let you know what the situation is in these parts. Chances are if we have it, then most of the States will have it as well.

Um.. the demo and the full version are the same thing. You just have to register after the demo period expires...

I haven't had a chance to see my physician about this yet, because of work, so I figured before I got the chance, I'd ask around here. I was training the other day and I think that I either didn't stretch enough, or I fucked up because about a day or so later I've developed this muscle soreness in my neck/shoulders that goes all the way up into my skull, and feels like a moderate headache. Now, I'm guessing it's a cervicogenic headache as a result of a pinched nerve in my neck. Anyone here ever had this sort of experience? What does the doctor usually prescribe for something like this, or does it heal with time on it's own? It's been persistent since Sunday evening and is really fucking aggravating me, though it's not so painful that I can't turn my head. I just figured with a board full of wrestling fans, a few of you've got to have some sort of experience with weight-training.

Feh, the cuteness is cancelled out by how annoyingly whiny she is. I'd take Kim/Monica over that.. -
Merged and pinned, IMO..

Phil from Ravex is saying he's hoping to have the complete WWE Update ready for the weekend..

It's severely incomplete. Only some workers, pics and logos. No titles, feds, networks, etc...
-
Yah, I just saw that too. I'll give it another go tonight when I get off work.

Personally I love teh details of certain aspects. The actual booking, hiring, stuff like that. The other stuff that grates on my nerves though - and yes, I know this is essential for a real sim - is the markets and having to worry about how over you are in Kamloops or Kelowna, etc. I could've sworn Adam said he'd put in an auto-handler feature so that we could just skip all of the BUSINESS-business stuff and get to the meat of booking and pushing wrestlers. But I don't see it.. I guess that's what I was expecting.. something based more on the wrestlers and less on the business aspect. =\
