True, but Ram wasn't the Nature Boy caliber of wrestler. I think he was supposed to be more along the lines of Luger but with the popularity of a Hulk Hogan. But yeah, I echo the Terry Funk example. That guy started out as pure wrestler, went into a brawler, and then totally "hardcore" - I mean, flaming chairs and flaming branding irons anyone?

Plus, his name is Leon! My girlfriend still makes fun of him and his name (and the way the girls in the games - Claire or the President's daughter - would scream, "LEONNN!!") to this day.

Well, also, who's to say that these exclusives for SDvR09 aren't a contract between THQ & Sony? Yup! Tons of new moves in there! Bourne's are by far the most entertaining!

I was using DiBiase and Rhodes last night.. and had the funniest glitch during their tag team entrance (entrance 01 for teams). DiBiase was on the left and was supposed to have his arms out but instead it's like his right arm was dislocated and pointing in the other direction across his chest. It looked like something out of Silent Hill, lol. It's only happened once so far though..

Kane, Edge, Maria, Kelly Kelly, MVP, CM Punk all have moreethan one outfit and picture. Yeah they have 2. I think he was saying once it hits 3 they have to move it to a new slot. It's probably the case, but you'd think it'd be something that's easily fixable via their lil patching thinger. Oh well, not a big deal.. it's just wierd to have two slots for the same guy.

The update should be automatic if you're signed into the net. It asked me to install it as soon as I tried to boot the game disc. Anyone else actually surprised to see Super Crazy in there? What's also weird.. Kane, Edge & MVP all have alt attires under their original character slots.. but for some reason the new Jericho & Rey attires are separate character slots. I also noticed that they took out the alternate portraits for HBK & HHH when you're selecting their DX attires. *double *

Ah true, now that I check the CAWs site, people are talking about it there. Apparently it hasn't fixed any of the things that THQ promised it would, though.. wierd.

CAWS.ws Seriously. Some guy on there is saying that he knows this guy who works for WWE.com and yadda yadda yadda. At least, that's where I saw the rumor first posted.

I think the movie is less about whether or not you are a fan of wrestling.. it's about being a fan of movies/storytelling.. and those people will easily pick up on how big Randy was before his fall from grace. I mean, if someone can't get at least that from the opening montage of flyers then there's something not working upstairs.

Anyone get the Blurays for Freedom? They're pretty pricey for only 4 discs/7 episodes.. but I managed to get it as cheap as I imagine it going ($60 off) during a sale at Amazon. It's a pretty good series. I would've liked to have seen it fleshed out with more episodes, but they still managed to weave a good story with equally good characters.

It's good. But it ain't $30 good. Edit: Scratch that. There is a Japanese dub out there. My bad. But I do know that there is also a Japanese version that has the English version on it for whatever reason.

Hell Yeah, I remember hearing about that too! I had a SNES rom for a Sailor Moon fighting game as well as well as a few good Dragon Ball related ones as well.. Does anyone remember Ranma 1/2 Hard Battle on SNES? It was my only exposure to the Ranma anime back in the day. We used to spend hours on that one, lol.

I'm definitely getting this. I have the standard DVD edition already but this movie definitely deserves an upgrade to HD, IMO. Now if I could only get the hilariously bad Double Dragon on DVD somewhere..

Were Saturn's discs CDs or DVDs? I wonder if we could ever see Saturn games released on any of the consoles downloadable networks one day.. that'd be pretty sweet.

Yeah, I heard that this sucked the big one. My girlfriend wanted to see it but I convinced her to go see the Wrestler instead, thank god.

I still think that the Johnny Cash biopic was one of the best I've seen. That said, I still can't wait to see this.

Not sure if it's been mentioned elsewhere, but the mega crossover JRPG from Capcom, Nippon Ichi, Namco Bandai, Gust, and Idea Factory X (Cross) Edge is being released in North America this March! IMO this is a huge release for fans of this genre! My first Disgaea experience will be with Hour of Darkness (edit: which is good because I just realized it's the first one, ). Is it a big pain to switch out the HDD for the PS3? I've got an 80 but I'd love to replace it with a 500GB or 1TB drive since they've come down dramatically in price over the last few months.

Edge can pull that off though. As in, he doesn't look out of shape, at all, despite that.
