Also, has anyone else noticed that if you pick a heel in season mode, the announcers still treat you kind of like a face? And your supposed face opponents all act like heels? Do the unlockables change/get added to once you complete the first season? I could've sworn that IGN told us Benjamin/Haas had alternate outfits, but I see none anywhere...

No shit. He meant how can Steiner be in the game and in WWE at the same time. And the answer to that is that Steiner signed on with Acclaim for at least two games BEFORE he signed his WWE contract. That's how Lawler was able to be in the games, as well, he signed a contract with Acclaim before he was re-hired by WWE.

I'm not going to bother making any CAWS until I can unlock the locked movesets.

There're also a lot of "USA!" chants.. even if all of the competitors in the match are American.. ahh, true to life. RE: my season. To further the deterioration of my stable, Charlie Haas has now turned on me! He did the whole Austin/HHH/Car/Forklift thing with Lesnar in the car. *sigh* The Varsity Squad is dead.

So, is Heyman a heel or a face..??? I don't get Smackdown on any of my channels, but from the spoilers he looks like quite the tweener when he's yelling at Vince... wierd.

I haven't had that happen yet.. but I was pleasantly surprised that Yukes added a few new animations into the post-match attacks. I was Lesnar and chose to attack Angle after a match. Lesnar went to leave, but paused and slowly turned around and went after Angle.. and instead of just doing the mounted punches.. he F5'd him! NICE! Then there are just creepy things like Roddy Piper suggesting a threesome with Trish and myself backstage. I had to hold back the vomit....

There are movesets, legends, create parts, arenas, attires and a bunch of completely useless things like diva loading screens and the ability to change the colour of the diva's underwear for b/p matches... I just hope that the list adds more useful stuff to it after completing season mode once.. I remember reading over at IGN that you'd pretty much have to complete two seasons to get the full list.. they probably just meant that it'd take you two seasons to get enough cash.. but a guy can dream, right?

Just a thought: I wonder if the list of "unlockables" gets added to after you complete the first year of season? I've noticed that some of the alternate attires that were outlined in previous articles about the game aren't in the unlockables list... Here's hoping...

Not necessarily. All they'd have to do is change the actors, and the host, and the name of the fake show... it's gotta be pretty easy to fool anyone willing to be on a "reality" tv show..

I definitely have to agree with the previous sentiment. IMO, this game is leaps and bounds better than No Mercy! Finally!! Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I was playing season with Lesnar, on Smackdown. I had started "The Varsity Squad" with WGTT... but that bastard Benjamin turned on me after it was announced he was getting a title shot at SummerSlam! Layed me out with a sledge and all! Oh, and on a funny note... I had added Roddy Piper to the season and consequently he ended up taking the Cruiser title from Rey Mysterio and now no one has beaten him for it in at least five months!

Oh. My. God. I've been playing this game since I got home at around 5pm.. and I gotta say. FUCKING AMAZING!! I don't know what that guy was talking about earlier on in this thread - the one who said it sucked - but he's fucking nuts for thinking that w/o playing it first! Amazing! The grappling system is simply awesome! The season mode is wicked! The only gripe I have is that Yukes still can't seem to figure out that JR/King don't host Smackdown AND Raw.. other than that, awesome game! I'm lovin' it! I was playing season mode as Lesnar.. and Vince McMahon hand picked someone to take me out.. Ultimo Dragon!! It was great, Dragon kicked my ass in one of the backstage segments.. I just found it hilarious because the height difference - he had to look WAYYY up to me when he had the mic. Priceless!

The ref did that in SYM too. Of course, all you had to do was whack him with it to be able to use the chair on your opponent. Ever have the ref chase after you relentlessly in SYM? I hit him by accident once and he WOULDN'T leave me alone. Had to restart the damn match!

I'm surprised that he didn't mention the fact that Maven didn't push them over, and that he actually missed a clothesline on Jackie Gayda levels of screwing up here...

Just picked up my copy from EB... which was odd because when I called yesterday, they told me that they wouldn't have it until Thursday. Went in on a whim today, and there it was. Should've probably waited until after work, though. These next four hours are going to be hell...
