I only found WMXIX fun if I was playing with one to three other friends. I hated the mission mode. Hated isn't even a strong enough word actually. Honestly, I have way more fun playing SYM on my own than any of the other WWE games out there - and that works out just fine since I live alone. ;p

I think so. I mean, it can't be any worse than WMXIX..

Game Shack [local Toronto store] told me it'd be for sale on their shelves by the 28th.

He died Sunday in his sleep. They mentioned it quite a bit during RAW. Only caught about five minutes of Raw, but I have it taped. Sucks.

'Canadien' Stampede? What are you, French? EDIT: Woah, woah, woah.. when did I miss the death of Hawk???

I just couldn't understand how some people in the theatre I caught it in, were actually getting up and leaving saying that it was 'too graphic.' Lame-o's!
-
If anything this movie could've used MORE gore. If the critics think that this was too gorey.. then they're fucking pussies.

Dude, I don't think it's boring due to it's lack of violence, etc. I just find it blah, because after you've paid for the final upgrade on your house, there's not much else to do besides dig weeds and deliver crap for your neighbors. Over... and over... and over... and over again. =\

Honestly? I'm just glad that my GF is into video games and shit like this, so I won't get on her bad side if I'm spending too much time playing. ;p

Ha! Am I actually reading this right? They lose viewers when Booker T is on screen! If so, "the ironing is delicious!" [that's a Simpsons reference for anyone who thinks that I don't know how to spell irony]

Typo. Major Typo.

I 100% agree with your theory there. After just screening the movie, I too think that it plays more like a sequel - as in something that happens a day to a few weeks after the first/original movie. Sure there are some differences and continuity aspects that prevent this from being true.. but the story for this movie was completely different, so I definitely don't see it as a remake. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): I don't know who put it up, but somewhere I kept reading that R. Lee's character was a "sadistic sheriff who'd do anything to bring the Hewitt's in." Which was obviously BS, since he's more or less got the "fathers" role from the first movie. Did anyone else just figure that "Junior"/R.Lee simply killed the real sheriff and was masquerading the whole time?

People are complaining about Triple H's facial hair in a video game?

In a word, this show is: retarded. Sorry. It's the voice acting that gets to me, and the style of animation. That, and everytime Prince Adam talks all I can see is Leonardo from the original Ninja Turtles cartoon...

Dawn of the Dead: The trailer has been released...

Ah, well I don't really mind the running zombies. Especially after seeing them in 28 Days Later [well, those weren't really zombies, but still..]. And to be honest, like I said before - I'm just glad we're getting zombie movies at all. And besides, I don't really see how doing a remake would take away from the original... -
Oddly enough, I just placed an order for this movie last night. Love it.

I'm guessing it's based off of the success that Resident Evil had... I for one am glad that we're getting ANY kind of zombie movies, since it's my favourite genre of horror and there hadn't been a good zombie flick since the 91 NOTLD remake. [Anything Tom Savini makes on his own is just pure shite - IE: Children of the Living Dead... UGH!] -

Wow, the trailer is pretty cool. I'm definitely down with seeing this flick. Especially since I've been to the mall where it was filmed up here in Toronto. I find it odd that Sarah Polly got billing over Ving Rhames, though. -

As for Zombies running and moving fast.. this is nothing new. Return of the Living Dead did it. Hell, their zombies even SPOKE. Also, the original Night of the Living Dead had zombies that were QUITE a bit faster than in any other Romero film. They even had enough sense to pick up a brick and smash a window. -
Man, I can't believe someone in this thread actually said that the models look BAD! Insanity...

Very cool indeed. I'm glad they're implementing a lot of No Mercy'ish type things in the gameplay with cruisers struggling to slam a big man. Cool stuff!

Meh, I don't care what reviews say. I'll judge for myself.

Dude, after seeing Kane with his shirt off, I'd wish he'd put it back on. I think I was blinded from the glare off the spotlights. ;p
-
I could have sworn that reports say Kane wasn't supposed to have his towel in the entrance.. check this out from IGN's "Reason #5" screenshots... Small detail, but cool nonetheless...
