..apparently he's Shannon Doherty's true father.
-
His arm is robotic? I just thought he wore a big metal glove. ;p
-
They could say that for any unanswered / discontinued angles! *who lifted the briefcase at KOTR 99 and GTV / F-View immediately come to mind Marty played Taker's ghost at the RR?!! F View was Bischoff, was it not? When he first came along, installed all of those cameras backstage? Or was that something else?
-
Heh, maybe they're a bunch of local talent that Vinnie Mac hired to play the roles. ;p Seriously though. IMO, this game is a renter before it's a buyer.
-
I was mainly talking about the others, as for those two. How about a really good game. Touche.

For that to happen we'd need someone other than WWE on top of the business. And that isn't happening anytime soon. Not necessarily.. I just meant a game.. a console wrestling game with the graphics of HCTP, the engine of No Mercy and the complexity and customizability of TEW. I don't think that WWE has to be overthrown for that reason.. I think we just need Koei to do the job. Hell, those guys put in RIDICULOUS amounts of detail into their Sim games, I'm sure that if they teamed up with another studio to do a wrestling game [regardless of whether it's an official license or not] it would kick ass.

Oh sod off. That sounds like a good enough reason to me. Who the fuck puts a green-as-fuck rookie [and don't deny it, you were all calling him green when he first showed up] against a proven main eventer? AND if you're building Brock as a big monster, then it would make no sense to have him getting cheap ass wins over guys because of a over-booked special ref spot. I love how the opinions on this board change with a shift of the wind. Austin walks out = "OH FUCK HIM" Austin is gone for a few months and people start to wax nostalgia = "Man I hope he comes back soon!" And now he's a prick again. A lot of you people are so ass-backwards it makes my head spin.

Yes. And an abnormal amount of them [chops] at that. I mean this was approaching the amount of Overhead belly-to-belly suplexes that Steiner did in his match with HHH at RR'03...
-
*raises hand* I mean, have they ever been in a video game before? I just think it's cool as hell, and I can't wait to kick ass with the country boy. I just wish that the legends had their own original entrances, that's my only issue right now. I wanted to see Hillbilly Jim come down to the ring with a pig damnit! Well Volkoff and Sheik have been in both of the LOW games so far...
-
Dude, what are you talking about?! That whole match was chop this and chop that!
-
To paraphrase Homer Simpson, when he was talking about David Schwimmer, I think it's because he's "handsome in an ugly sort of way." Like Tobey Macguire. Their faces are like trainwrecks, but you just can't bring yourself to look away.

Full card of the SD show in Birmingham, England

Expect Vince McMahon to interrupt this match because he thinks it's too boring. -
Damn those Eddy videos are sweet, especially his entrance! I hope that the Mullet made it in as one of his alternate attires.
-
It mocks me everyday that I don't have this horror

There's like three or four copies of that set in the comic book store around the corner from me. They have the larger versions as well, but I think those are separate from eachother. -
His stunner's just a more dramatic variation of the stun-gun he used in WCW. I thought the Stungun was the Hotshot, when you get the guy held up like a spinebuster but fall back so his neck bounces off the rope. By the way, yes, the seminal Stone Cold Stunner was different in that he took a little longer to position the guy and I think may have gotten off the ground a bit more with it. It wasn't the fluid motion of the KICK-WHAM-STUNNER we see today. Ecto Cooler is on crack, the SCS is nowhere close to being a Stun Gun.

Don't forget Rocky's crappy Pedigree at Judgement Day 2000... This is what caused the ban on piledrivers. HHH was woozy and couldn't remember the last few minutes of the match because of the Rock's pedigree...but Vince thought it was the tombstone and banned piledrivers....at least that's how I remember it... I've always heard that it was actually Undertaker's Tombstone on HHH in that match which gave him a Stinger and caused the ban. Dames I believe you're correct there, sir. It was when The Undertaker debuted as the American Bad Ass.
-
I'm just astonished that you can metion "work a good match" when talking about the Road Warriors. Sheesh, and people say that Steiner vs HHH was boring...
-
Ah, your tact astounds me.
-
Or an even more appropriate question would be, "who really cares?"
-
Man, you people really need to get over these fucking delusions.
-
How exactly did the nWo name get on the PPVs, anyway? I've always wondered about that. Bischoff was "Executive Vice President" of WCW at the time and he turned nWo, therefore his influence was felt over the shows. At least, that's how I remember it.

Flair, Anderson, Goldust, Bradshaw.. heck all we need is X-Pac, Scott Hall & Michael Hayes' mullet and it will be deja vu all over again.
-
I'm dying to see his entrance!
-
Yeah, but who the hell counters a guillotine legdrop by pulling up their knees? Hopefully this is something that Yukes is going to fix in the end, because just having the animation skip to meet the needs of this one counter is kind of lame. Why not have the guy roll out of the way instead?

Finally, Jericho's entrance gets pyro treatment in a game! Lackluster pyro, but pyro nonetheless!
