I'm hoping that this whole Sylar is a Petrelli thing turns out to be figurative and not literal. Ie: they're his "parents" because they gave him his powers synthetically when he was a baby or something and that they're not actually blood related. That still goes down as the worst "twist" ever in this series, IMO.

The thing about this show.. for me.. is that the villains are so uninteresting, aside from Arthur, IMO. You can't count Sylar because we all know he's just going to turn on Arthur - they totally telegraphed that one. But Knox and the blue fire guy? The fast chick? Sorry, but I have a hard enough time giving a shit about the "heroes" of the show, how am I supposed to care about throw away villains? I mean, don't get me wrong, I loved the shock of just killing of Adam like that.. but really, when I think about it, he was probably the only interesting true villain they've given me on this show aside from Linderman.

Count me in with the fans of Saturn. I always enjoyed his in-ring work and after reading the heroic story about him above, I have a new found respect for him. That's amazing. I can't believe I hadn't heard that til now. Here's hoping he's doing alright.

I would've liked to seen more than passing mentions for Florida as well as more around 9/11 - they mentioned it a lot, but it would've been interesting to see an acted scene of when it all went down with Bush at that elementary school. Brolin was fantasic in this role, BTW. I'm glad to see that Brolin is coming up as a major star these days given his past filmography. I just read that Stone originally had Christian Bale in the role, but Bale backed out after the prosthetic makeup tests were unsatisfactory to him.

Saw it yesterday. I wouldn't really classify it as a dark comedy. Not sure what I would classify it as, though.. I thought it was okay.. it seemed to end rather abruptly.. even given it's lengthy running time. I have to wonder who the writers' sources were for a lot of the material and can't help but think that there are going to be a lot of moviegoers who think this is a 100% without a doubt true story. Oh, and Thandie Newton as Condi is absolutely priceless.

Meh, I liked this one. I liked the last one, as well. Thought #3 was okay and #2 was horrible. First is the best, of course. That said, I'll never understand why people gripe about bad acting in horror movies.

IGN has pictures of Luthor. Nothing of Darkseid that I've seen, though.

The exterior shots.. where you can see the planet below the ship.. are phenomenal.

I don't think that was the actual voiceover from the original movie, though.

I don't think the trailer needs to show us anything aside from what it did - a few scenes from last seasons - a few scenes from the next. Does it's job a-ok with me.

They should just start a new set of RE spin-offs for Wii using that engine. Doesn't even have to be watered down ports of RE5, RE6, RE7, and so-on. Hell it doesn't even have to have anything to do with them.

Anyone playing Dead Space? Love it? Hate it? I'm at chapter 9/12 so far and it's pretty damn good. There're are some of the usual cliches and all that but overall the game feels really fresh. I also love the copious amounts of gore.

The only games I'm looking forward to for the Wii in the near future are Mad World, House of the Dead Overkill & Dead Rising. Possibly Tatsunoko vs Capcom providing it doesn't also get a PS3 release (or even released over here at all, for the Wii, period). I never thought would happen but I've only touched my Wii (that's what she said) maybe twice since I bought a PS3 earlier this summer. =\ I still think it's a great console, but I now really see where it's place is in my gaming rotation. It's niche games like No More Heroes and arcadey type games like HotD that I enjoy on the Wii. That's just me, though.
