Uwe Boll will stop making bad movies if..
dubq replied to MarvinisaLunatic's topic in Television & Film
I seriously love this guy. His movies ARE shit but his personality is fucking hilarious! -
When it comes to Ric Flair and 36 years in the business, nothing is too overdone, IMO. From the sounds of Heyman's article, it's like he wanted him to be in kayfabe the whole time. This retirement and farewell wasn't really about that, IMO, and I'm glad that it wasn't.

I thought Roadkill was released back in Feb?

Celebrity tag team. Make it happen, Vince.

LMAO - what event/show is this video from?

I noticed he was leaner, too, but it really seems odd that a guy would retain his six pack and lots of definition and be off the roids. That's what I would usually consider someone who's puffy. Like HHH around the time of Summerslam 03. Puffy, still big, but not with all the definition. Edge on roids was not the biggest guy but he was ripped. Now I'm spewing off what I don't know. He does look slimmer, though, Like he did in 2000. Something else I notice. Now that he's dropped some weight he's almost a spitting image for Sean Bean, lol.

WWE should propose the movie/wrestling contract to him. Sting's always been interested in movies and I'm sure a 4 shows a month, plus 1 PPV, deal - plus movie developments has to be appealing to even someone at his stage in a career. I know I know. This is a TNA thread. Sorry, I got sidetracked imagining how amazing those matches could be...

I'm psyched for it as well. It's not usually my kind of flick, but having Whitaker and Laurie in one film together.. it's gotta be good.
-
Yes. I really liked Schiavone prior to the MNW. His stuff in classic WCW (pre-Turner) was also pretty damn good.
-
Fuck it. I'm gonna say it and I know it's been said before: I want a match with Sting vs HBK. I really think that would be something awesome. Seriously. I don't prefer WWE to TNA or TNA to WWE either way, but I really hope this match gets to happen one day soon.

If Boll stops making movies, I have less to make fun of. This is not a good thing. -
Anyone else notice HHH getting leaner lately? Is this a result of the "no juice" thing? I'll admit I hadn't watched much of any WWE lately until post-WM for Flair's farewell and we were all commenting on how he looked a lot younger when he came out to MC the farewell. Maybe I'm noticing it more because I haven't been watching it week in and week out, and the last time I actually saw HHH he was a lot more "puffy" - this is almost like when Hogan went from pretty huge to the skinnier WM9 look. Either way, just something that caught my attention during RAW last night.

I've always wondered the reason for removing moves. I mean, they can't take up that much disc space can they? Are they doing this so that one year they can add a few back and promote it as - "NOW WITH MORE MOVES THAN EVER BEFORE!" - or something?
-
Glad you have solid insight into his real reasons for going. Do you also know what colour his bowel movements are?
-
I was about to post the same thing. Funny how those things work out, eh?

The documents have a date of 2004 on them. The wellness policy didn't come in until 2005. This won't even effect WWE.

What was horrible about last year's controls as compared to 2007? I've not played 2008 yet so I have no idea..

Did anyone ever see him in Kenneth Branagh's version of Hamlet as the Player King. IMO, he easily stole the entire movie with his performance in that one. Man this calls for a marathon! Looks like Soylent Green, Planet of the Apes & Omega Man are on tap for tonight!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

This is just my opinion on the subject. If I had my way, anyone who makes money off of a tragedy (especially one that isn't even a year old yet), should have to give a portion of it back. If you don't agree with that, oh well, tough luck.

This is the best question so far. Yes, all true crime writers are obligated to do this. Seriously, that's not a legitimate question, and there's far more valid stuff to ask about even if you're just looking to be inflammatory. I'm not trying to be inflammatory. But I do believe that if he's going to try to make money off of this then he should be willing to give at least half of it back.

I have to say that about a year ago, or so, I was asking friends to recommend me a new "genre" television show because I was sick of Lost, and I think at the time Heroes was hitting a bit of a low point. Well, they all recommended BSG and I haven't turned back since. I'm in the middle of Season 3 right now and loving it.

And where did I ever say pollution is good? You're making me out to be like a villain off Captain Planet or something here. Of COURSE localized pollution hurts that particular area. Nobody's debating that. Maybe I read your post wrong but what I'm saying is that if you reduce localized pollution in enough areas, this reduces world pollution. So yes, in a way, localized pollution effects the entire planet. Get enough of it in enough places and then you've got a royally fucked planet. That's what I was getting at. If you were not stating the opposite, my apologies. But that's how I read it anyway.

Here's one I can't believe no one's posted yet: Are 100% of the proceeds from this upcoming book on Benoit going to be donated to charity or to his other children or Nancy's family?
